  1. I don't want to make this a PPP thread but many people also frequent only 'news' providers who tell them what they want to hear. That's the insideous nature of web click ad sales businesses masquerading as 'news organizations' and the polarization and self-sorting of people in general. If you really want to stay on top of an issue and/or Bills coverage you have to read multiple sites with multiple POVs. That includes providers like the BN, although not necessarily Sully and Little Bucky...
  2. Fine with me. I subscribe to the online content at the Washington Post, New York Times and Wall Street Journal. If a news organization is going to deliver content I find worthy of their subscription price, I'll always be a customer...
  3. What does that have to do with his play? There are a great many guys with bigger contracts who are worth less than TT. You can blame a guy for not being good enough. You can't blame him for what he makes since it's the team that signing the check...
  4. I've been following this story. The Professor seems like an asshat, but the students are just pathetic little snowflakes in this instance, particularly in their response at Joel Seligman's town hall meeting...
  5. Six punts for a 49.5 gross and 44.5 net average is "not too well?" Keep drinking Mr. Goat...
  6. Maybe they'll carry two, since we'll be doing so much of it this year...
  7. When I use the Manage Ignore Prefs button in the upper right corner...
  8. Edited for accuracy...
  9. Ahhh. That feels better...
  10. Burp.... Burp...
  11. Coach McD knows how to build a secondary. The safety play in particular has been the best I've seen from the Bills in quite a while...
  12. The Panthers front-7 speed beat the Bills O-line size. That's where misdirection could have helped in the game plan...
  13. ...Even though the offense laid an egg?
  14. What seems more and more apparent is that there's not much "West Coast" in this offense either. No quick 4-yard "passing runs," no trips WR formations, no by-design QB roll outs. As it stands, the design doesn't build on TT's strengths and plays too much to his limitations...
  15. Try reading many of the newspapers in other NFL cities. I'll give the Sooze its due in that regard--they put more resources into Bills coverage than just about any other home town newspaper.
  16. Never a good idea to come on after a loss. Better to wait for the beer and testosterone to go away...
  17. Supply and demand, most likely...
  18. Agreed. But I'd wager that the BN decision makers would pay more attention to a group of 'pitchfork and torch' carrying TBD posters than to individual Snooze subscribers. There's power in numbers. Maybe your passion on this issue--and the TB platform--can rattle a few cages...
  19. That would be great. I've been a critic of the BN sports columnists for many years. With Josh Barnett now in charge, maybe we can get the ball rolling on better quality (i.e., akin to the hiring of Sean Kirst as a replacement for Donn Esmonde) rather than the 'drunk on a barstool' commentary we get now...

  21. Sully realized long ago that filling column inches was all that was required of him. So exerting as little effort as possible is his SOP...
  22. Yep. But Sully wouldnt know a game plan from a house plan. No-nothing columnists like him and Little Bucky have been the downfall of the Snooze sports department...
  23. Yep. Booker's wrist injury must be worse than DEN thought. Great place to learn behind vets Anderson and Charles...
  24. Likely to learn the playbook, then get added to the active 53 probably in week 3. Probably replacing Devontea Booker at RB3...
