  1. It's most likely due to the number of times an unarmed man was shot verus the admin saying it wasn't an assassination. I agree they should show it. If this is a victory for all of us, aren't we entitled to see the basis of it?
  2. You make some valid points Harvey but you have to expect more from last years high picks like spiller, troupe and carrington now in yr 2. That and the top 3 this year look like rookie starters upgrades your D by anywhere from 3 to 5 players is a major difference. Also the offense should settle into a much better rhythm in gaileys 2nd season, especially since they now know what they have.
  3. I was positive on Wilkerson until I watched film. He has no burst, terribly slow to get out of his stance. He won't be effective at all in the NFL. Jets will decline a little from last year.
  4. lol so according to you use of the common word "government" is irrecoverably tied to "monolith, single actor, conspiracy, blah blah" at all times. Even in instances where that person has acknowledged bureaucratic innefficiencies ... lol, you've earned "double maroon" status this time! well at least now that you're completely dressed down you can get ready for bed ... lol!
  5. Since I acknowledged innefficiencies as a contributing factor to the innacuracies in this previous post http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/129973-white-house-keeps-spinning-bin-laden/page__view__findpost__p__2158648 by starting with "based entirely on the idea .... blah blah" your entire post is therefore invalid and not worth reading. Lol ... yet again, what a maroon! You are surely a masochist as no normal person would keep returning for this continual undressing! LOL
  6. Hello there, The subject relates to how our government communicates with its citizens. It's a somewhat sophisticated discussion covering what the government thinks people want to hear, how they release information and then how they maneuver to modify the story to fit the scrutiny of logic and emerging information more factual in nature. There's also a "whodunnit" intrique. Ultimately we are seeking the truth for truth's sake, and what that tells us about ourselves as a people. Given the above, for you I'd recommend sticking with Rush Limbaugh. He reduces the world to the simplistic struggle of good conservatves vs bad liberals . Artificial yes, but at least something you can process. Cheers
  7. But they've said it wasnt an assasination and if OBL surrended they were required to accept it. But of course it was an assassination. An unarmed man shot 40 times would support that.
  8. We shouldn't be mathematically eliminated by week 15 at least!
  9. I see bills finishing ahead of Miami in the division and taking one from the pats this year. Our defense simply has to be better, and the offense could be better with fitz feeling more confident and spiller contributing more. I don't think Miami did much in the draft and henne is a dud. And pats continue cheapness prevented them from making major draft moves they needed. I see bills having wild card talent whether they make playoffs I dont know as a lot of things have to fall into place But I think there's a chance and I stand by my divisional predictions.
  10. Yeap pilot error. The next fishy smell on the agenda is why they won't release OBL's photo. Obamas saying it's because he's not a trophy when in fact that's exactly how he's been treating it. Real reason I'm guessig is photos will show him to have been shot excessively in the head and chest. Think sonny in the godfather. This causes problems because its become clear he was unarmed (which in itself contradicts initial reports).
  11. The black belt should be sentenced for assault, manslaughter, murder or attempted murder based on what happened to the victim. He was clearly the aggressor, instigated contact over the victims objections and delivered several blows when the victim was inert on the floor. And others in the room could very well be accomplices.
  12. Too many to list. Some that come to mind Fly like an eagle (Steve miller) Bye bye love (the cars) Don't Take me alive (steely dan) Stone in love (journey)
  13. Lol bogus reference to something I never said. Well what to expect from a clown claimed he'd run me off the board. What was that few months ago. Lol .... How's that working out!!?
  14. "Even well-maintained equipment breaks." ,,, no mention of it being raid related. Called out again ... lol what a maroon!!
  15. "Unnamed senior administration officials provided several details to reporters on the attack on Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan, which led to bin Laden's death. Among the details: During the raid, we lost one helicopter due to mechanical failure." http://pogoblog.typepad.com/pogo/2011/05/details-on-helicopter-mechanical-failure-during-raid-on-bin-laden-begin-to-emerge.html
  16. Think fast, what happens more often: Air Force 1 goes down, or the white house spins a load of BS? LOL ... what a maroon!!
  17. Yeah and even how much they slid courtesy of Hagar id still take his stuff over jump.
  18. OK Buf, I hear you, some of it was the result of a rush to get the story out, but methinks that doesn't explain the half of it. I could see the next shoe dropping on the fishy smelling discharge the story about the chopper crash. Official report is that it experienced mechanical error. I find that a little hard to believe given how much attention the condition of those choppers was paid prior to the mission. Id guess it went down due to pilot error (something they dont want to admit given the fool proof status they want the seals to be held in) or OBLs guards shot it down, another item they wouldnt want to concede.
  19. A story was told by US officials at press conferences, including Obama. Pieces of that story have been retracted or modified under logical and factual scrutiny. Do you really think it's coincidence that all the revisions have shown the operation in a less favorable light?
  20. CIA Director calls out the Pakistanis ... According to two sources in a closed door briefing, Panetta told lawmakers "either they (Pakistani intelligence) were involved or incompetent. Neither place is a good place to be." .... and they're not happy ... If Panetta made such a comment, the Pakistani intelligence official said, "What worse statement can come than that we heard from Panetta? http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/05/04/bin.laden.main/index.html?hpt=T1&iref=BN1
  21. Honestly after the first few guys does it really matter where someones ranked? Huge drop off
  22. I said this another thread: the initial report was read from script which specified the following: - this was a surgical mission carried out with extreme precision - no women, children and casualties are said to have died - if any of the above die, it is to be reported as Bin Laden was using them as a shield - OBL was armed and firing at the seals and hence killing him was the only option - his body was buried at sea in respect of Muslim teachings Not saying I'm upset with how it actually went down, nonetheless all of the above are failing under scrutiny. But I do share your frustration at the continued double speak of our government.
  23. And an official white house briefing therein would actually be considered one source. As I stated earlier if you're waiting for the seals to tell it directly don't hold your breath; their identities may never be made publicly available.
  24. Lol @ Panetta on the wire with seals as the operation went down as "3rd person"
