Fitz was witty and candid. Not saying we're going to win out, but it's obvious he has more going on upstairs than the average QB. He's also developing a confident winner's mentality which is the only way to be a champ in this league.

You're right. On every passing TD at least one defender gets "burned". A zero tolerance policy will soon leave you with no starters. What's frustrating about mckelvin is how he hasn't learned to use his hands at all. He needs to watch film of Revis who's a master of hand use. Mckelvin doesnt have Revis upper body strength and the league let's Revis gets away with a lot, but in addition to mckelvins film study on opposing WRs he needs to watch film of Revis.

He doesnt use his hands well. He needs to understand good coverage doesn't mean just being near the WR. Doesn't bump WRs when playing close to line, doesn't wrestle with them down the route when the refs will let you and doesn't even attempt to deflect passes.

I don't have a problem with him. He did out perform ocho last year. Problem now is at this point he's pretty much a possession receiver and with Nelson and Chandler there isn't a need for it.

Easier said than done on the field. Ball was thrown high and there were players beneath him. If he tries to knock it down he could deflect it up or if he does get it down it could bounce off a helmet or pad and be airborne for a jump ball. Worst case he knocks it right into the WR's hands. The rookie at fault was the Oakland wr for not fighting searcy more for the ball until a pile was pulled apart to give refs some doubt whether in fact it may have been simultaneous possession.

The way cam played in his debut we very well could be 1 & 0 with him too. He certainly wasnt the reason panthers lost and by all accounts the only reason they were in the game.
