Tim, What are your thoughts on the direction Buffalo goes in R1? We all have our thoughts an ideas but I am curious to see what someone who covers the AFC east and has a totally different vantage point thinks. Nix has been the king of double talk and subliminal messages for some time now and I do not think I can stand reading another mock from some guy who has never stepped foot on a field, or in a locker room and interviewed players. Wow, thanks. From what I can gather from everything I have read he is grossly immature and arrogant. 9-10 when you stick a mic in these guys faces after a win you get the old "aww shucks, I have to thank god and my team mates routine." These guys feel this sense of entitlement because the media and their inner circles feed the moron inside of them. This shtick gets old and I hope Goodel puts the fear of god in him.

Pretty rough stuff there. The reporter sounds like a woman scorned in a sense but on the other hand seems to have some first hand knowledge of his jackassery. But I bet there are other stories of him helping people and signing autographs and such.

Here is what I do not get, bear with me. The guy was pretty much falsely accused the first time in Tahoe. There were emails from her to her managers and co-workers saying she was going to try and get with Big Ben when he was staying at the hotel. She then files a civil suit a YEAR later, saying she wants X amount of money because she was some how violated. He turns around files a defamation of character and it all goes away. Now Georgia, not sure what happened and the only one who really knows are Ben and the girl. They had been drinking all night and did something she seriously regretted or Ben took advantage of her. Either way it is not right but we really do not know what happened. Is Ben a world class D-Bag for putting himself in this situation? Absolutely. But the episode in Tahoe really has no bearing on this GA incident. He was blatantly falsely accused over a year later by a desk clerk looking to get some easy cash. If he did assault this girl, then he got away with it or the investigators in GA seriously dropped the ball as well as the state attorney's office. Now would I want him QBing my team? Without a doubt! The guy is a winner, plain and simple.

If this is true and we could get a 2nd for Lynch, don't even use it, ship it right to B'more for Gaither. Get your franchise QB at 9 and your LT in 1 swoop.

I was born on the Westside of Buffalo in 1980, when I was 7 my folks moved us down to Fort lauderdale. My bro and I went to our very first spring training that year and got to meet and take a pic with Donny Baseball, we were hooked from that moment and I am still a die hard pinstriper to this day. And I still have the picture.

Didn't that guy Sal post about T.O. signing with Buffalo right before it happened, then went on to predict Cowher was a done deal...how quickly we forget. I am not doubting this guy, but I will wait to see what shakes out in a few weeks.

Thanks Tim, that's some good info. On another note who is in charge of hiring these draft gurus? ESPN is way beyond successful and they still put 2 guys that have absolutely no experience on player personnel or development on TV. They watch college football 365 days a year and this is the best product they come up with??? I guess what I am saying is where do I fill out the application for these 2 positions. Hell at least I played a little college ball. Come to think of it maybe Kiper did too, but I can take McShays job!
