  1. I'm surprised you guys value Tim Euhus so much. Sure, maybe he's a little better than Neufeld, but who isn't? Euhus just seems like an average TE to me.
  2. I hope that's the case. Everytime he's back there to receive a punt I always fear him fumbling that ball (think vs. Pittsburgh of last year, and there are more examples). When he finds open area he's a good returner but I still think it makes no sense to have him back there when we have other guys who can do equally as good of a job.
  3. I agree with a lot that has been said on here about Peters. Regardless of the exaggeration, everyone has to admit he's a HELL of a pick up considering he went undrafted. Guys like this come around only so often. He's probably capable of playing a few different positions but they know he's something else so they want him to play an important position like LT because a) he's a beast and b) he's cheap. It is fun to think what he could do playing defense (an end or tackle) considering he loves running people over. Teams will eventually look for him to occassionally take on the role as a TE (especially in goal line situations) and that actually may be of a great benefit to McGahee if they're aren't overloading the line. We'll see.
  4. Yep. Not much to it. Just a few minutes and Boomer making a bunch of jokes about Bills alumni. Same old comments about us having a good defense and such. They put more of the focus on the other games like the Carolina-Saints one.
  5. everyone here knows TD's style. he wont pay the big buck. unfortunately this is most likely playmaker's last year with us. hence them grooming mcgee and drafting eric king. all of our defensive studs keep getting swept away by damn free agency.
  6. ok I better apologize before I get blasted because I don't have over 20 posts yet. but in all seriousness we are LESS THAN 13 HOURS AWAY.
  7. just kidding! what a nightmare that would be on opening day, the return of chris f'n watson. the infamous "punt catcher."
  8. I don't know why but I had a bunch of vacation time and I decided to use 2 days. One on Friday and one for this upcoming Monday. That way I have some time to recover after the incredibly ridiculous partying I plan on doing tomorrow. I can't explain Friday other than to make the game come quicker (although one could argue that if youre at work, youre busy and that'll make the time go quicker but where would you rather be on a Friday/payday, home or work? duh). I have read practically every Bills article. Almost every JP Losman/Willis McGahee quote/interview. I watched every pre-season game (even looked forward to a few), followed every player transaction the team has made, bought my new throwback, and told anyone and everyone how pumped up I am for this season. I am ready. Tomorrow at 12:55pm, I will be so ridiculously excited/slightly nervous. Me and about 7 other of my best friends have gotten together for these Bills games for years now and somehow each year gets better (except that one year where AVP started a ton of games, oh man that was terribly boring). This year is no exception. I just hope we don't lay a giant egg. Then it will seem like it was a waste of anticipation. Anyone else got the day off on Monday? My apologies if this was a waste of a thread, just wanted to share my excitement about the Bills! LETS GO BILLSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
  9. It is kind of coincidental that in every quote from a Buffalo Bills player/coach, out comes "We're going to run the ball until they are tired" or "We're going to run to establish the pass." As if we'd give away our gameplan when we don't even give away our friggin injuries.
  10. I want the raiders to beat them but the problem is they could be a competing wild card team against us, because we play them again this year. but i guess its better to root for them and root for us to go after the division title. depends on what you think is more realistic; bills - afc east champs or bills - wildcard i can't wait!!!!!!!!
  11. Dolphins better than the Bills? That's almost funny. Considering the fact they had a QB competition between a guy who was barely a backup last season and a guy who shouldve never left his 3rd string role in Philadelphia, I think Miami is going to have to worry about a lot more than the Bills will. Gus is a jokeeeeeeeeeee. Couldn't they have picked someone better? ANYONE. John Kitna? Tommy Maddox? Is Quincy Carter still alive? Anyone! Call me a homer all you want but I'd take JP Losman any day of the week over Gus Ferrotte and AJ Feeley. Simmons should stick with B-Ball.
  12. many moons ago. how could it not be sold out? seriously. season tickets haven't been as high since 93 and with a new qb, killer rb, nice defense, sweet special teams and a ton to prove and this game doesn't sell out? c'mon!
  13. Because scouts love Matt's size. His rocket arm. His leadership. He's Drew Bledsoe all over again. hehe. We're probably ALL forgetting about that QB from Texas, V. Young. They are building him up as the next Michael Vick. The hype alone may elevate his draft status.
  14. I agree. If they did finish with the worst record again then they surely wouldn't draft another QB because that would make absolutely no sense. Then again we are talking about the 49ers. I wouldve taken another need player (WR, RB, whatever) this past draft and settled with Rattay as my starter (which they have, until Smith is ready) and then taken Matt if my team still sucked. If it wasn't for Rattay's injury problems he has shown that he can play in this league. In all seriousness I'd be very surprised to see Alex Smith flourish. I just think what Utah did last year was not all of Alex Smith's doing. The kid seems pretty smart and has plenty of potential but we all know where potential can get you. He was surrounded by a really fine coach and a decent schedule. His current situation isn't comparable. Staying on topic; what are the chances Reggie Bush is drafted in the top 10 with his fellow QB? (assuming he'll be eligible and I'm pretty sure he will be)
  15. except this time they could draft a legitimate #1 QB. i say it's between the 49ers, Dolphins and Cleveland (sucks for Charlie Frye cause he had a nice pre-season and showed some potential)
  16. So did TD at least send Pittsburgh a Snickers bar?
