  1. Jax has just been running it almost every play. Edwards hasn't really thrown it much after taking a 3rd down sack in their first possession.
  2. I'm with PTR here. I hope it happens. I was bummed when he hurt himself practicing and thought his days as a Bill were over but I do the like idea of him giving him another shot. One less need (if he panned out) for our 2011-2012 PUSH!
  3. While we're at it lets get Aaron Schobel back. NO ALL THE WAY AROUND... BRAH.
  4. It was a joke, brah. I could care less what school the kid comes from as long as he can play.
  5. There we go. Absolutely NO NEED to get rid of Lee. We had him during his most expensive years, now lets enjoy him while he's actually pretty cheap per WR standards. Build up our other needs. Real needs like LB, Offensive tackle, DL and so forth..
  6. What the hell are you talking about? No, they won't all be hurt in September. The guy said after watching the Pats game it's clear we have good receivers but not great ones and I countered with "A lot of our receivers were hurt in that game, how could you make that evaluation." No Roscoe. No Lee. No Nelson. No Easley (not that he counts). and so forth.. I think signing Roy Williams is a horrible idea.
  7. Agreed! Not sure I'll be able to watch this entirely but the first quarter just ended and this is what I saw: He was in on 2 tackles in the run game. It appears he's solid in this department which is exactly what the Bills need. USF has neutralized him in the passing game by using quick throws when he's on the field. I didn't see him on the field on USF's first touchdown which was a situation where the QB had a lot of time to throw. YES, we are seeing the same things SJBF. He also doesn't quit on plays as he was just in on a sack of the QB who was scrambling to the opposite side of the field. Not sure he'll get credit for it though as another defender was there first.
  8. Where did you read about the 8.4 million figure? I heard his cap hit was less than HALF of that number because his contract was front loaded.
  9. He's on ESPN right now in the Meineke Car Care bowl (lol) Clemson v. USF I know very little about this kid but I've seen hundreds of comments about how good he is and how we should draft him with a top pick. Instead of youtubing him right now, I'll watch this game and do some evaluating from my comfy couch. They told a story about his father passing unexpectedly this year and leaving him with a message to focus and become great. Bowers thinks about the message every time he plays and dedicates every game to his father. Looks like a big dude to say the least. Drafting another kid from Clemson with our top pick does worry me. Just kidding, I haven't given up on Spiller completely. They are really pumping this kid up like he is the BEST defensive player in college. What about my boy Fairley?
  10. Hey guys, we don't need to draft a receiver or pick one up through free agency. We have much more needs. Roy Williams isn't very good anyways.
  11. At least they're acknowledging their "all-star" game is a joke.
  12. You think that's fair for the fans who pay full price to see scrubs? C'mon man
  13. As would I but that isn't happening. Have you not heard of any of the hype on this kid? It's getting ridiculous.
  14. Trade what? Next years #1 and #2? That's what it might take to get Carolina to give up that pick. Ain't happening unless you give up A TON. It's probably not even an option if he declares. Carolina is giddy about Luck.
  15. The biggest flaw in your plan is getting rid of Lee Evans and wasting a draft pick on a Wide Receiver in the 3rd round. Lee actually isn't very expensive. His contract was front loaded which means he only counts for a certain amount against our cap (if there even is one next year). I think the number is $4 million a season for these last 2 years? Not 100% sure but that's something I've heard repeated a few times. I love your free agent acquisitions and first 2 draft picks but the 3rd rounder cannot be wasted on a position where we are actually okay. Don't forget how much faith they have in Easley. We have too many guys at that position right now, especially if Parrish is coming back.
  16. Fix subject please because it's driving me caaaarrrrrraaaaazzzzzzzyyyyyy
  17. LOL, great story (for us, not you obviously) At least she tried!
  18. This reminds of that Lane Furniture commercial where the 1 guy tries convincing 3 other friends to go to the game at the frozen tundra in freezing temperatures and blizzard conditions and they end up declining his invitation and watching the game together at home while laughing at the image of him freezing his ass off at the game. Sure, they may come off a little wimpy but there's a decent amount of people out there who feel the same way. I came pretty prepared today but my damn feet couldn't stay warm.
  19. Love this post especially the first paragraph. Pretty much sums up how I feel about the teams playoff chances.
  20. Fitz won't win many competitions based on accuracy or arm strength. But he's likely a far better QB than Brohm at this stage of the game. I'm not opposed to Brohm sticking around or whatever but right now this is Fitz's team. Do you think Brohm would do something special with Stevie, Naaman and Donald? Or how about Chad Rinehart and the Wrottos blocking for him?
