I'm just stunned at how so many people are upset about the compensation. We won't know for 2-3 years if this was a good trade.

I'll take it. Bottom line is he was being unreasonable and it would have never come to a resolution. Can't wait for the draft.

A month ago I was in the 'keep-Peters-at-any-cost' boat. The last couple weeks have soured me on him, and am happy we are getting something good in return. He's just not worth $11MM per year. That's almost a tenth of the salary cap, and we don't have a franchise quarterback contract on the books yet. It's a smart move. That being said - I will be livid if we draft Andre Smith. PS - Don't be surprised if it's a 1st and a 4th.

So we can have ANOTHER player playing left tackle for right tackle money and complain about it next year? No thanks - Walker is a good player at RT, let's leave it alone.

I do understand where you're coming from - but it's really not an advantage anymore. A ton of NFL players, including on the Bills, are from the south and do not like the cold. Hell, our QB sucks in cold weather and blizzard-like conditions. Also, I would pretty much think that most people would rather sit inside watching a game during November and December. Anyone who went to the Giants game on Dec. 23 two years ago knows where I'm coming from - that was miserable.

Interesting read, but not sure about 'accomplished' writer. I'm not sure what a "highly television college program" is, nor is it undeniable that McNabb is Hall of Famer. Not trying to slam the poster though - I did enjoy reading that, thank you.

Well I've noticed that since moving here, hardly anyone knows where Buffalo is. I was kinda surprised at first - but it's not too surprising. Buffalo is not a major city at all. There's no reason for any common person to know where it is. All people know is we have a football team and it snows a lot. Personally I think it's a little silly for Americans to have such little knowledge about the geography of their country, but it's just the reality of it.

I hope so too - otherwise it's just another example of someone spouting off without knowing any facts. Great.

It's definitely not a home game anymore. Seven home games + nine away games + super hard schedule = ten straight non-playoff seasons.

Not much of a surprise since this first came out in the Miami Herald early last week, and has since been reported even at buffalobills.com in Chris Brown's blog. PFT was kinda behind the ball on this one.

Salguero is typically very reliable with his sources. I read the Herald almost daily and listen to him on the radio a lot. He's pretty good.
