  1. If I remember correctly, his family is still in Buffalo, and his kids will be finishing school there.
  2. And my guess is the Bills will be picking around 1:45, and NLT 2. 15 min per pick (if I\'m remembering right...maybe not) and they usually take all 15 min in the first round.
  3. I think we'll get an idea shortly, but I wouldn't judge Jaroun on W-L record this year. Too many holes in this team right now. Though if he comes out making stupid decisions and gameplans like Mularkey did, I'm more than willing to throw him under the bus. If the team plays hard and they have a solid game plan (especially adjustments), I will call this year a small success no matter what the record.
  4. Because FSU plays on TV more than Oregan.
  5. I used to date a girl who was a huge Pittsburgh fan (that's why I "used" to date this girl). She looked forward to the draft almost as much as I did.
  6. 1. To a non football fan, team names don't matter. But she knows not to bug me during Bills games. 2. That's okay. I love watching football, but as long as I see the Bills I'm happy. "Something else" pretty much can be anything, as long as it's actively doing something. I actual prefer doing something with my family as opposed to watching random games. 3. Oh yes. This has been an issue that I'm pretty stubborn about. If it's not told to me by Friday night I have first right to push off till next weekend. Period! 4. Two football weekends. 5. One game where I'm not helping cook, driving family around from house to house, etc... TG tends to be a stressful day in my house. I get 3 hours of peace. Personally, the deal is plenty for me.
  7. I have a deal: 1. I always get to watch Bills games, unless there is a medical emergency 2. I will only watch other games if there is nothing else going on. 3. Honey-do list will be issued Friday night, so it can get done Sat. 4. I get two full weekends a year. SuperBowl and Draft 5. I get to watch one Thanksgiving day game in relative peace. So far, so good.
  8. Leak will have a better year this year than last. That may not be saying a whole lot, but scouts know his ability. It's certainly not a secret that he doesn't fit a system that came into place half way through his career. I don't think he will be picked ahead of Quinn, but by the time the senior bowl/combine/personal workouts take place, Leak will be right up there. I would be happy with either of them.
  9. ...putting his testacles all over me!"
  10. Problem was, by asking that question, I was adding to the count. It was quite the conundrum.
  11. I agree about Fasano. A 3rd round RB isn't high on the needs list, but I love what I've seen from him. Tough as hell! The only knock I have with him is that he needs to learn how to NOT take the big hit. I love the balls he's got, but it's going to get him killed.
  12. That's what a draft guide is for.
  13. He was right. After hearing that, I am totally blazed. The worst (or best depending on how cruel you are) part, is that this guy really thought he was good enough to get a deal somewhere. It just baffles the mind.
  14. I think it was the capital E in except that gave it away.
  15. Hmm. Exactly how many crowds does TSW have?
  16. There's the pitch...
  17. They cheered for Vilma.
  18. I don't think there is any such thing as a luxery pick in the 7th round.
  19. depends on how smart their fans are (yes, please insert jets fan jokes here). Most casual fans would boo for a OL when a guy like Leinert is there, even though that's what they need.
  20. Careful, what goes around, comes around. Hmmm, nevermind. As you were...
  21. I think from the highlight videos the guys I"m most impressed with are Mangold, Gabe Wastson, Joseph and Gilles. Latsui looked quick, but not so great at pass blocking. But it's hard to tell from so few clips.
  22. That's a great avatar for someone.
  23. Well, the music was slower in Ngata's highlights. That may have something to do with it...
  24. I thought those clips really showcased Ngata's speed (for a big guy). He sheds blocks quickly and is able to chase down RB's. Pretty good for a big fat slob (which he is obvioulsy not). And do you see him move a pile?? Bunkley is fast, yes. But next to Tripplett, I think Ngata is the better choice.
  25. I just watched most of the DT's. I have watched a few clips lately, and it only furthers my opinion that Bunkley is NOT the right fit for this team. If we had signed Picket instead of Tripplett, then yes, he would be a great addition. And I think he'll do well in the NFL. But I think lining up Tripplett and Bunkely next to each other is a bad idea. And I totally agree with Watson. I didn't realize how big he was. I think it would be great if we could get Justice in the first and Watson in the second. Although I think 8 is high for Justice, but looking at both talent and greatest needs, that would my ideal draft right now (with no trade scenario) I think Watson would have to slip a bit...but not too much. Most places I"ve seen have him going early 2nd round.
