22 inches on my driveway in S WV. Just finished with the snow blower and I am tired. 3 hours, but that included my neighbors too. The top of the blower is 22" and most of the snow was even with the top. So, I have a clean driveway and nowhere to go as the streets are not cleared and everything is shut down.

Tcali...yes WV has several positive living aspects to it. Low taxes, low cost of housing, low crime rate. The weather is mild, well except for last night and today. Lots of sports and outdoor activities are available. Health care is OK from my experiences. Transportation is a negative issue as is the education system. If you have kids of school age, look for a private school.

and eggs.. After all blizzards mean it is French Toast time....geesh. Although I am glad I bought groceries on Wed. Somewhere I read that PopTarts are the number one consumed 'food' during storms/power outages

Getting LOTS of snow here in Southern WV. The road going up to my house was a skating rink/parking lot. I ended up parking the car at the bottom of the hill in the church's parking lot. Then walked home...approx a mile. Did my good deed for the day and helped push two cars so they could get traction and get going. Too close to my house to go back and get my car. Besides Mrs. Lew was already home and her car has the newer snow tires. We are not going anywhere until Sunday anyways.

Diet Dr. Pepper is very good as other posters have mentioned. Coke Zero comes in second IMHO.

My favorite... I am driving in the right lane going the speed limit. No cars behind me. As I get near the exit ramp, this clown has raced like heck to pass me, then sharply cuts right in front of me to exit the roadway. Of course, I have to jam on the brakes to avoid hitting him as he rushes off the roadway. This has been experienced in WV,PA and WNY...All during the recent Thanksgiving holiday we took in Lewiston.

Pooj. To answer your original question...YES. Although I had no adverse health effects, my doctor suggested that I reduce pop/soda intake. That came from a casual comment I made about eating habits.

I'd be more impressed if he kicked a soccer ball from full court into the basket.....My daughter did that in an indoor tournament several years ago. I asked the ref if that was good for "Three"

Thanks for bringing up this issue. I have to call the doctor now. I have had heel issues this fall and thought that once refereeing ended, the heel would feel better. The pain is reduced, but the first several steps in the AM are killers. And I am on my feet at work, except for when I am here on TSW.

The deer are also located on I-79...from Washington,PA to Erie. Counted 14 when driving to WNY last Wednesday. Good luck when you do go out.

Went to the Niagara Falls Target and it was crowded. 50% of the vehicles had Ontario plates. Inside was jam-packed. Lines at the checkouts were 20-25 people deep and we exited without any purchased. Went to Viola's and enjoyed their 24 hour Sub marathon. Anyone who has had a Viola's sub knows how good they are. Gonna take Mrs. Lew and MIL shopping on Sat. The KMart on Military Road was packed also.
