  1. TG's experience alone would bring a depth to Buffalo not seen since the early 90's.

absolutely. That would be a formidable, formidable offense. Hopefully noone flames me for the statement I'm about to make, but...with an offense with Trent at the QB, Marshawn and Fred in the backfield, Evans, Owens, and Gonzalez catchin passes, there's no way we couldn't add at least 3 - 4 extra wins to last years total. Dare I even say, we could outscore teams, and not even make any additions to our defense, and still be a playoff contender...

  2. l think that he is smart enough to realize that 2 #1 WR's will leave the TE open quite often now. Is there a chance he reconsiders his original stance and comes to Buffalo??

P.S. After getting T.O., this is less of a stretch than we might think.

Evans, Owens, and Gonzalez?? Man just hearing that, even the thought makes me moist. That's an offense that would garner INSTANT respectability! I would definitely piss my pants. I already pissed them yesterday when we signed Owens.

I would LOVE to see TG come here.......but how much is his asking price? and is he a free agent?

  3. 1. He is not the player he was a few years ago, not even close.

    2. He will cost more that what we will want to pay him.

3.What makes you think he woudl want to come here?

    Will Never happen.

While I agree that he is not the player that he once was, I do think that he has plenty left to contribute, and even be an above average WR, heck on our team, he could presumably be the number one guy. Sorry, just don't think Evans is as good as many on here make him out to be.

How much do you think he will want? He must know he is on the downside of his career...with coles getting around 7 mil per year, do you think he will want much more than that? i know I'm not the owner or GM, but I would gladly give Holt 7 mil to come to Buff.

And finally, I do believe that money talks. And if the money was right, I would not be shocked to see Holt come to the Bills. And i would piss my pants with happiness....

  4. Item: Rex Ryan has a press conference during which he warns the NFL about how great he is and how the rest of the league is doomed.

Conclusion: Jauron will never be aggressive enough.

Moral: If youre a complete idiot, at least be a loud complete idiot.

Item: Jauron is compared to wrestling stars.

Conclusion: He is so boring he would probably use the sleeper hold because he will never be aggressive enough.

Moral: Wrestling is a good gauge of judging NFL coaches due to the need for aggression which Jauron will never have.

Item: Kollar goes to Texans. Thanks Jauron for being a professional boss.

Conclusion: Jauron did not hold Kollar captive when he had the option, therefore he is not aggressive enough.

Moral: Aggression is what it takes to keep coaches and Jauron doesn't have it. We haven't even replaced Kollar yet and he left 27 hours ago. At this rate we will have no coaches on opening day.

Overall moral: Class is overrated and being a jerk is what defines a real man and coach. Rex Ryan, most wrestlers and the Texans fron office are real men. If we were all like Rex Ryan we the world would be a better place. Everyone should be like Rex Ryan. Jauron will never win because he is not aggressive enough. An aggresssive coach would win even if his QB had hair highlight appointments every Thursday instead of practice. If Jauron would simply start yelling we would win. Why won't he yell? Rex Ryan will probably yell so loud that if Trent were a Jet, his hair highlights would get catapulted into the upper deck. We love Rex Ryan.

    uhhhh...... :D

  5. You guys dont want a coach, you want a cheerleader. Jauron is probably very good between games, he doesnt scream and jump up and down as much as you guys want on Sunday, thats your problem with him. He isn't pretty and he doesnt get all fired up on the sidelines. We have no idea what kind of coach he is.. all you see of him is on the sidelines on Sunday.. thats no way to judge a coach. If the players say he is great, who are we to judge,, they see him in action a ten times more than we do...

My opinion of the players liking Jauron and saying he is great, is that he is soft, and doesn't demand alot out of them...lets them take it easy...evidenced by the way they seemingly get pushed around week after week. Yes, we won the Denver game, but deep down i had a feeling we would win, mostly because the game didn't matter.

and heck, if I had a boss who was nice, never made me work, let me have extra days off, never held me accountable for any of my screw ups or shortcomings, I'd love him too!

    just my opinion...

  6. ;)

Really? What a joke if this is true...bet he holds out next year again...except I hope this time the coaching staff sits him down with his highlight real showing all the defenders that ran right around him every week.

if he does, i say let him walk...in my opinion, he was average, at times above average, but never dominant....that's just my opinion..

  7. A team usually carries the same identity as their head coach, and to be honest thats what they have right now.....Thats why they suck......

well stated. in all honesty, i think the only reason the players seem to love jauron so much is because of how soft he is, and how he seems to really just let everything slide, including crappy play. and i also feel that because of his uber-soft training camps and practices, that's why we have so many freakin injuries....just my two cents...

  8. Just before start of game, Jauron is caught off-guard by Canadian anthem, burns first time-out.

Bills lose coinflip...following advice of coaching staff, Jauron challenges "heads" call, loses, and burns second time-out.

Jauron peeved that Dolphins elect to receive, as he would have opted for kicking the ball had the Bills won the coin toss.

15:00 Dolphins commence long drive converting multiple 3rd downs...

13:35 Dolphins convert on 3rd and 22, defensive holding on McLovin

11:46 Dolphins convert on 3rd and 16 following sack by Kelsay...ball is jarred loose, fumble picked up by Ronnie Brown as Bills' Defense celebrates and Brown advances it for a first down

9:22 Dolphins convert on 3rd and 27, after Ted Ginn lines up in an illegal formation, runs out of bounds, runs back into field of play, pushes off on three different members of the Bills' secondary, takes off his helmet, and catches a pass on two hops with one foot out of bounds. Jauron starts blinking wildly (the signal to his staff that he wants to challenge the call), but the Dolphins get a play off before anyone can get the challenge flag out of his pocket.

Dolphins drive to end zone, take 7-0 lead.

Commercial break - thousands of Bills fans prepare to throw bottles of Labatt at TV screen, yet are strangely soothed by a gyrating Hawaiian girl in a grass skirt gesticulating how she needs a Five Dollar Footlong. Sadly, this brief respite from anger is ended by a rich b*tch getting a Lexus for Christmas and a argument among a family of hamburgers regarding the appropriateness of the young male hamburger selling himself for a dollar.

4:41 Bills take kick-off, McLovin returns it to midfield.

4:30 JP hands off to Beast Mode, who runs it down to the one-yard line

3:59 Jauron and Turk burn last time out of the half, trying to figure out the right play for first and goal from the 1 yard line. They settle on a wildcat formation direct snap to Derek Fine, who loses a yard on the play.

3:20 2nd and goal from the 2, Bills line up in empty backfield shotgun formation. JP holds ball in pocket, gets hit for fumble, recovered by Dockery.

3:17 First post on TBD calling for Hamdan

2:58 3rd and goal from the 7. QB sneak, loss of one.

2:12 4th and goal from the 8. Bills line up for field goal. Kick by Lindell deflects off of drunk Canadian falling from upper deck

2:09 First post on TBD calling for Lindell to be released

Following some more commercial breaks where zero percent financing is offered for everything under the sun and Beyonce begs us all to let her "upgrade our packages" (insert pun here), the game resumes. Dolphins add two field goals and take 13-0 lead into the locker room.

Sideline reporter approaches Jauron on way to locker room. Jauron instinctively starts with the, "well, obviously, we'd like to be 13-0 instead of 6-7" speech. Jauron is informed that it's only halftime. Jauron challenges and burns first time out of 2nd half, insisting that the game is over.

    Final

    Fins 20

    Bills 3

    <_<:blink::blink: those were effing priceless!!!

  9. It would definitely be a success, if only for one reason...

if we finish 10-6, that would mean winning 4 out of our last 5 games, but more importantly...

It would mean beating some teams with WINNING records. Traditionally, Jauron coached Bills teams have NOT beaten the good teams, especially with something on the line. We beat up on the cupcakes, then when it's time to play a good team, we just lay down and die...

    so definitely yes...

  10. I read those comments and threw up in my mouth. Hearing that Dick would say, "we're still at 500, there are teams below us", that really did it for me. I can't believe he would even say something like that to the team! Is he for real? Have our Bills accepted Jauron's way of thinking and finally just grown to accept being a 500 team?

    This is sad....

  11. Nothing good comes from being negative. They have a right to complain, I've never argued that. It's just getting annoying hearing the same things that will do nothing but prevent us from getting through the week. We tend to get too high after wins and too low after losses, and three in a row from div. opponents is bad, but we're still a wild-card contender, and we have an easy schedule coming up. It was a road loss to the Patriots and people are acting like we lost at home to the Lions.

I see your point. Granted, I didn't think we would win this game. I guess I just felt like Buffalo would come out with some fire, some intensity. They just dropped two straight division games, and it would've been nice to see them come out today and just smack some people around, play like this meant something to them......

i will be at the game next week, and i do believe that buffalo will win....

  12. That's where I disagree with you. You're not going to see our team leap from mediocrity and lack of playoffs to superbowl in one season. You're all over reacting. This is not the season. Never was. This was the year of experience and hope. We're supposed to squeeze into the playoffs this season, not march in with confidence. That's how this will work. The media is a joke? The same media that is responsible for putting this team into a rebuilding mode after every other year doesn't work?

What do you expect to gain by bitching nonstop about our team?

This IS a message board for the Bills right? When the Bills do well, we are happy and we sing the teams praises and all is well...well, not sure if you have been watching the last 3 weeks, but not only have we dropped the last 3 straight, we're looking eerily like last years team, and some glaring problems are staring us in the face...

when we lose, especially 3 in a row, and 4 of the last 5, don't you think people have a right to come on here and complain? are we supposed to just act like everything is alright, or just try and find the positives from this latest debacle?
