  1. As much as I'd love to see #17 in action, I would have zero problem with him sitting the entire preseason.

Would love to see Torrence get a lion's share of snaps

Would love to see more of Isabella as a WR and a KR/PR

Would love to see Dorian Williams get some time with the 1st and 2nd units

Woud love to see Kyle Allen not look like Trent Edwards.

The inability for both our coordinators to scheme and make the other side of the ball uncomfortable is not Super Bowl caliber!

Not not just players…. Coordinators and coaches put them in the best situations to make plays. When McDermott says “their defense wasn’t giving us the looks”…. BS!!! Find stuff that will work to dictate what they are doing on defense.

    Our Coordinators are playing checkers…

These 4 team’s remaining are the best at Chess!!!! It ain’t ever gonna happen with Dorsey or Frazier. They are not on that level. Being that McD accepts it, or continues to hope,or grind a little more says he ain’t the guy either!!!!!

Well said.  I've waited several days before posting to give myself a chance to be more objective/less negative Nancy, but a spade is a spade, and I'm sorry, but I tend to lay more blame at the feet of Frazier/Dorsey than the players, HOWEVER,  I am very much willing to give Dorsey a mulligan on the season with him being a first year play caller.  I would even go as far as to say he did show some flashes of creativity as well as some days where I thought he called a good overall game, especially with his ability to mix in the run effectively,  as well as get more touches for Cook, particularly after he began to improve as the season progressed.  But he still deserves his share of blame.

But FRAZIER? I sincerely apologize for beating this dead horse to death even further, but gentleman, in my sincerest, most humble opinion,  his time here in Buffalo needs to rest in peace.  Do I have a viable solution at this present moment? Aside from a snide, sarcastic remark, I do not.  But the man's lack of creativity,  his refusal to adjust even remotely to ANYTHING an offense throws at him bewilders me. To me it almost comes off as sheer defiance.  And our players are the ones who have to pay the price for it.  I've actually given up praying that some poor GM is desperate enough to give this man a head coaching job, and we actually receive a 3rd rounder.

I am grateful for all Coach Frazier has done for our team.  He seems to be a stand up guy, the players love him, and I wish him nothing but the best, but for the love of the Sweet Pickle Book Club, please let's get a new, fresh(yes young) defensive mind on the headset.  Please.

  3. Appreciate the post Virgil.  Count me among the grateful for all that we have.  As a Bills fan for over four decades, I have been through my share of heartache, misery, lather, rinse and repeat.  Of the Bills finding new ways to rip your heart out of your chest, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

When the McDermott hire was made, it was more of a "meh", let's see what the guy can do.  When he brought Beane on board, I actually remember thinking to myself, "wait, why is the head coach selecting our GM? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Here we go with some already instant Billsy type moves.". And then, fast forward to Thursday evening, April 26th, 2018.  A night that would come to change my life, forever.  The Bills were drafting 12th that night, there were rumors that Beane/McDermott were seriously considering making the jump higher into the first to go after their franchise quarterback. After the sixth pick, it was announced that they had pulled the trigger, and made a trade with Tampa to pick seventh.  "This is it," I thought to myself.  We're going after Josh!  With Mayfield going one overall and Darnold going at three to the Jets, Josh was still there for the taking!!!  Then, I heard it.  "With the seventh pick in the NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select Josh Allen, quarterback, Wyoming."   I threw the TV remote all the way across the room.  I vomited violently.  I tried to Patrick Swayze Roadhouse kick my flat screen off of the wall, unsuccessfully.  I was instantly suicidal.  The Bills did it to me again.  They picked the WRONG JOSH!  I was squarely in the Josh Rosen camp, and just knew we would finally get things right.

Let me just say, that Josh Allen crow, never tasted so good.

I thank God every day that our team was entrusted to Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane, and if there was a better way to express my gratitude for everything they've done for this organization, I'm happy to do so.  The turnaround, the positive changes they have brought to our team, and ultimately our city, simply can't be overstated.  We are without a doubt an elite football team, and have become such a successful franchise, we actually have nitpicked and argued about the problems/flaws with a team that just finished the regular season 13-3, despite countless injuries, a mass shooting, a blizzard that killed 40 plus people, having to relocate to a different stadium due to weather, the witnessing of a teammate collapse and die on the field....yet failed to lose a game through any of those things.  And the three losses?  A COMBINED total of 8 points.

If there's a better coach/GM combo out there....I don't want em.  I'm more than happy with what we've been blessed with.

    I know… i was sure like hell when i stated this… i felt it… i love them… Bills are my weakness… can’t stand without them, sport talking…

Believe me, you can’t imagine how much i love the Buffalo Bills… soon or later i’ll come there again… it’s a promise !

Love the optimism, love the fact you put it out there for all to see, and criticize, and the bottom line is, you nailed it my Italian friend.  Kudos to you amico!

Here's to our Bills beating the brakes off the Dolphins Sunday afternoon in Orchard Park, and beginning a nice new four game winning streak!

To think early on as you did Hines would improve the run game is hilarious. As a returner he has but not as a RB as he is 3rd string

Friend, Hines was specifically brought in to address our KO/PR issues.  Noone expected him to be the man at RB, or to unseat Singletary or Cook as our starting RBs.

There's nothing wrong with eating a little crow now and then.  Hell I eat it all the time, and I find it you wash it down with a nice bottle of Chianti.....it can actually be quite satisfying!

Gabes only 23.  Even if we used a late #1 on a WR, there's little chance he comes in and gets 900yds and 8TD's.  I'm definitely not giving up on him.

    Well said.

Look, I'm as frustrated with Gabe as the rest of us.  But I'm simply not ready to throw the towel in with him.

I know I may be in rare company, and some of you may highly disagree with me, but I'm of the mindset to keep him exactly where he is as our starting WR2, and hope that Josh continues to throw his way.  I would love to see him work through this "funk" he's in.  If you look at his numbers, I think you could make a fair argument that he is doing an "okay" job as the #2.  Obviously his numbers could be significantly better, but I still think he has the chance to be a HIGHLY productive WR.  I like what another poster said in that they would like to just hit the button to get "Playoff Gabe".

They need a blowout win. Sick of these close games where the offense and defense take turns looking like crap.

Let me say this....I too would love to see us turn in a complete game, ie offense, defense and special teams.  However I don't think we necessarily NEED one at this point in the season.  #1 AFC East, #1 AFC and controlling our destiny for that 1st round bye.
