Roth loss last night. They really needed to beat Arizona, who seem to be openly tanking.

It doesn’t get any easier the next 2 games. They face the current top 2 teams in the league - Las Vegas and Boston.

Hopefully this 3 game losing streak doesn’t turn into 5…

Given their track record over the last few years, I'd be much more concerned about that number going >5.

My rental vehicle this week, a Ford Explorer (either a 2021 or 2022) has some kind a steering assistance when using the cruise control.  Take your hands off the wheel and it stays in its lane.  Freaky.  I only try it when there is no one else on the road, and if you keep your hands off for about 20 seconds, it starts alerting you to put your hands back on the wheel.  If you don't, within 5-10 seconds, it cuts off the cruise control.

It's such a strange feeling when you're just cruising normally and those things slightly correct you.

  3. They had a Sabres road crew event last night here in Raleigh.  That was a great time.  I've got a cool little collectors item now after Marty signed my old red Biron jersey.  And RJ in the building?  That's worth the price of admission... which was only $15.

5 to 1 victory over Vancouver. This team for the majority of the game DOMINATED Vancouver. This isn't the Sabres from 2 or 3 years ago. This is a solid, quality, good team.

I can't imagine there are many things during the regular season that are more pleasing to the fans than hearing that reaction while on the road.  I hope the Canucks were able to sneak out of a secret underground entrance to that arena.

100% agree.  I will sit there and stare at them like I can't see them waving until they finally move.

It's still better than the person I ran into today who decided that the stop sign did not apply to her.  Poor choice of words, there was no collision.

Quinn concerns me too.  He was nearly invisible in the AHL playoffs last year when going up against grown men.  I think he might have been battling injuries but he struggled to find time and space and was too easily taken off the puck.  I have not noticed him much so far and hes already a healthy scratch 2 games into the season.

We have to remember that he's still just two years removed from his draft year.  Normally he would just be making the jump to pro hockey right now.  Peterka's fast start this year is going to cloud our vision, but he still has plenty of time to find his place with this team.

I wasn’t even drunk, just careless leaving the grocery store a couple months ago. A huge parking lot and it seemed like half the cars were black sedans. I opened the driver door to find someone sitting in the drivers seat….of HIS car. Scared the crap out of both of us, until we both started laughing. It was an accident. Nobody should get shot over that. My car was two spots up the aisle.

But picture that scenario occurring while it's pitch black outside in the middle of the night.  Every situation is different.  The driver sticking around and cooperating is going to carry a ton of weight in this one.  He's probably the only witness, unless that uber driver was still there.

I thought about that, in that scenario I would call the title "vacated" and whomever won the SB would be the new Champion.  I started working it out, going back to when GB won the first SB, but even in that next season, I was up to 5 title changes before the end of the season.  Maybe one of these days I will work it out, but it's going to take a while, to track which team has won how many championships.

I was on a college hockey board for years and this was something they would do every year.  It was fun to track.  Hockey's a bit more volatile obviously, so a bunch of crazy things always wound up happening.

Can you imagine if the Vince Lombardi trophy was like a Championship belt in wrestling or boxing, and it gets passed on to the team that beat the champs? The Bills would be NFL Champions today after beating the Rams last night.

That scenario is even more fun when the championship belt doesn't actually make it into the playoffs.  You've got yourself a disputed champion at the end of the year.

We tried to stretch it out, but still finished it in 3 days.  Daniel is his own worst enemy.

I feel like this season was a bit over the top.  I don't want to get into spoiler territory, but the villain group this season goes a bit too far into fantasy land.  It's still fun, but I don't like just how much was on the line in that final episode.

The part I thought was ridiculous was that the DOJ would settle for 7 years on his crimes. They have an unlimited budget and would have a parade of witnesses showing he was part of the scheme the entire time.

Did they really have a parade of witnesses though?  Everyone is dead or in Alaska.

    Looking forward to the surprise.

    Final episode info:

“In a road-trip story, a reclusive prepper abandons his bunker in search of a female prepper from his past; along the way, he meets an unlikely ally who is his polar opposite; they team up in an effort to find their loved ones.”

This was the description of the walking dead episode that aired last night. I’m not sure how they slipped up and have it listed for Better Call Saul.

We hear Saul saying the vacuum model code that may be used to convey to the vacuum man that he needs extraction and a new identity. But as we hear Saul saying this—out of breath and clearly in distress—we see Saul’s 1998 Suzuki Esteem that was shot up during the ambush in the desert last season, when Saul almost got killed retrieving Lalo’s bail money.

We know that Lalo and Nacho found the car but nothing has been mentioned of it since. What is the significance?

And the entire video is in color, so I'm wondering if it's a flashback to when he was in the desert.
