  1. They mention Coulson being killed in NY on the trailer. That rules out a prequel. That and if it is all new events in that timeline, they will be able to tie it into any of the upcoming movies.
  2. I just have a hard time believing that someone like Loki would screw up and not kill him quickly especially with that magic spear he had. Oh well, I'll get over it since Coulson was very entertaining.
  3. Three months for me to figure out how to continue watching this show. I don't have AMC anymore.
  4. It sounds like they're trying to rush to a Justice League movie too fast. They have to relaunch every other character before they do that. I guess they can get away without a Batman relaunch since most people are very familiar with him. The only other one who even had a movie was the Green Lantern, but they can't connect to that movie in any way (and that's a good thing). Zod was earth's first contact with aliens, so it can't be the same earth as the crappy Green Lantern movie.
  5. They showed that but it still doesn't give the explanation of how he survived that Loki stabbing. I thought they would just brush over it, but since its mentioned in the trailer, I hope we do get an actual explanation.
  6. Did I catch a quick glimpse of Herscel walking normally in the woods with Carl?
  7. It should be interesting to see how they explain Coulson still being alive
  8. The fun ones are going to your girlfriend/wife's reunions for the first time. I went to her 10th last year and I couldn't understand how that school produced her. It was in very rural NH and she was one of maybe 3 who actually left the hometown and doesn't have some form of outdoor manual labor job. It was also fun when two snobby stuck up girls stopped by clearly wanting to show off the rocks on their fingers. Now the one I gave her is nothing too crazy, but once they saw it they immediately shut up.
  9. Was he the one who had that issue with chat roulette?
  10. For you or for Nugent?
  11. I can't picture someone who wanted to be there any less than Lee did. It was hilarious.
  12. So we'd all much rather see someone sail it over the catchers head instead of bouncing it, right?
  13. Here's the best thing I almost won. I was golfing in Florida with my brother and on one of the par threes they had a contest where you had to put in $10 to be entered. If you were within a grips length of the cup, you'd win your choice of a trip to one of two golf resorts, Hilton Head or another that I can't remember. My tee shot hit the flag (the actual flag, not the stick). When we got up to the green, the damn ball was less than an inch beyond the length of a grip. I still like to claim that the stupid flag took a little spin off the ball and kept it out of the hole. And yes, I sunk the putt.
  14. She throws like a girl, big deal. I have to disqualify this one from the worst first pitch contest right away though since she at least attempted to throw it from the mound.
  15. Fortunately the drawing was done after the rings were purchased. It was a big event at this jeweler and anyone who bought that weekend was entered into the giveaway.
  16. During the spring the soon to be wife and I won a drawing that gave us $1000 towards our rings.
  17. And it's even more fun when you realize that those sites can manipulate those headlines however they want to get a reaction.
  18. As I started watching it, I was hoping that they could somehow incorporate the wild animals like they had in Red Dead Redemption. It looks like they did.
  19. We have a guy we call the nester. At some point in the day, someone throws a huge pile of clean toilet paper in the corner of the stall behind the toilet. No one knows who it is or why he does it.
  20. You know what's even worse? "Watertown strong".
  21. I'll call it "getting older" since I'm not in the same neighborhood as a lot of you. It's amazing how much longer the recovery time from any muscle aches keeps getting.
  22. Al Powell
  23. This summer season has ended pretty quickly for me (well, I am going to see Man of Steel tonight, then it is done). I may check out Wolverine if I get bored one day and have free time. I'm not too anxious to see it though. I really enjoyed Red, but I'll probably hold out on that sequel until it is on free tv in a year or so.
