  1. No, at the very start of the show they had everyone hold up their cell phones and then they picked her. It's not completely random though, if you want to put it that way. They never said it but they were looking for a specific type of phone.
  2. Is it the Kings who are known for having a pretty funny Twitter account? That one was a bit lame.
  3. They're all family, at least the one's who have been on the road together for most of the series. Glenn's speech to Enid in the first one said as much. But those three (oh wait, four... forgot about the baby) are on a whole other level of family, kind of like Glenn/Maggie.
  4. This feels like the 3rd or 4th west coast trip this season.
  5. They're not reporting salaries at the link. They're reporting total earnings, salary plus endorsements.
  6. I took it as more of he'd want to put her down if she turned, just like how he put down Lori and how he let Spencer put down Deanna. That paired with the hookup with Rick, they both have accepted Micchone as a part of their family now.
  7. I want one of those simulators.
  8. I just found an interesting stat. Minnesota, trying to make a playoff push, has not won a game in their home arena yet in 2016. They hosted an outdoor game and won this weekend, but they haven't won indoors at home yet. It's hard to imagine a decent hockey team putting together that long of a home losing streak.
  9. United wound up giving us a total of $300 in "travel certificates". I guess they do listen sometimes. As I've dug into the situation, I've realized that they were the main cause for our screw ups. When they changed our flights originally, the agent did not remove us from the Chicago-Vegas flight that we were going to miss. Thanks to that, we were listed as no shows on that flight, and as a result, our return reservation was canceled.
  10. I like the idea of this mini-series setups for shows like this. I haven't watched any of this one yet, but I've got the whole thing on DVR (except the first episode, I'm sure I can pull that up on demand). I can fly through the whole thing within a week now and not have to wait between episodes. 6 episodes is just about the perfect length for something like that.
  11. It's odd. I haven't heard a single word about Zoolander, positive or negative. I'm sure it has everything to do with this being dead season for movies, but it's like that movie fell off the face of the earth before being released.
  12. I saw Deadpool over the weekend. It's a nice shake up to the comic book movie craze. Hilarious.
  13. It's amazing how incredibly different she looks in person and on the show. The stuff these makeup artists can do is crazy.
  14. I did get to see a crazy dude opt out of the scanner and then complain that the pat down guy got too close to his "private area". It was hilarious how whiny this guy was. The TSA agent was near his knee at that point, so that guy damn well better be in porn. This same guy thought he could bypass security completely because his bag went through the X-ray fast and was sitting on the belt unattended.
  15. He makes Johnson look like Gionta in that picture.
  16. Then it gets left behind in Miami...
  17. The overhead that is full...
  18. Large bag under the seat blocking me from getting my feet further away from my seat = knees up higher and in line with the reclining seat back
  19. Depending on how I'm sitting, the seat back hits my knees.
  20. Will a diet make me shorter?
  21. He just wants to keep his name at the top of the news. He's absolutely brilliant at that, no doubt. I'm just amazed how people always fall for the tricks of attention whores.
  22. The character who winds up preaching morality always gets killed. I supposed you'd have to say the same thing about Gabriel, but he's not a major enough character to care whether or not he dies. The change in his mindset finally makes him a little interesting though. I'm not going to suggest some sort of iconic death for him, but if the moral character always dies, he's got to be high up on the "you just know he's going to die" list as well.
  23. Did people seriously get worked up by that Pope comment? He was clearly speaking in metaphor, the typical "unite, don't divide" message. The "build a bridge" portion should have tipped anyone off to how generic that statement was.
  24. There's a difference between reclining the chair a little bit and reclining it all the way? It seems like those things only move about an inch. Granted that inch completely screws over the person behind it, but the actual reclining person barely moves at all. And the opposite of those people who try to push the seat back even further when standing up are the ones who pull down on the back of the seat when getting up. That drives me mad. I'm barely comfortable in this seat as is, now you're going to shake my seat back and forth? I get it with older people who have trouble standing up, but most of the time it's the young 20-something doing it.
