Taylor Derangement Syndrome has really affected some of yall

Didnt want to start a whole new thread for this, but I know we all love to see it....

There might be some logic behind the thinking of "No one will watch Giants/Panthers if it is up against all the other games, so we need to schedule it as the only game on at that time." Same with giving us the Jags instead of Ravens, Lions, Texans. Those games will dominate ratings even if they are up against 12 other games. No need to waste Prime Time slots on games that already get ratings. I dont know. I pulled that out of my ass. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

More people are on streaming services than on cable nowadays. This is like complaining when games first went from broadcast stations to ESPN on cable. The times they are a changin (or already have changed).

Most folks here would be fine with that since they already have that subscription.

He willingly took a big paycut this year to get his cap hit down to $7.7M. That's just a little more than we paid Harty last year, and I expect him to produce more than Harty did. He is absolutely TE2. Or "Old School TE 1" in that, while Kincaid is listed as a TE, I expect him split out and running routes while Knox lines up with the OL. I'd bet he'd be willing to rework his entire contract, and take a cut on annual cash if we extended the years.

Cant judge on mere speculation, that's for sure. And I dont know about any injury. But there were definitely some classic McD situational weird decisions in the beginning of the season that could have easily knocked the kid off track. The Denver game comes to mind, although I dont remember the exact situation. I remember being frustrated with his decisions on when to not just take the easy points, but then later on throw Bass out there on a long kick he clearly was not going to make.

I'm a big proponent/supporter of the Rooney Rule, and will almost always argue that every chance to interview is worth it alone. Especially for up and coming coaches to grow their network. But this situation is unique. It's no secret who the next Pats GM will be (Wolfe), and at this point, no one wants to help the Pats organization. And if potential (non)candidates want to turn them down, so be it. FTP

You kinda argued against your own logic. Moulds was in combat/playoffs his first few seasons but then spent 6 seasons in the peaceful drought. Does he not count as a combat veteran?

Slightly related, speaking of the days of good ol porno magazines... Back in the 90s when I was in High School, well before internet porn, and we had old playboys/penthouse/hustlers laying around, we would play something we called "Gifts From Above". We would roll up a magazine and put a rubber band around it, then drive by the middle school bus stop and pelt the kids with all these tubes of destruction. They'd be all pissed off from being attacked, but then as we were driving off, we'd see them unroll a tube, figure out what they were, and then start celebrating and high-fiving. Good times.

Expectation: 11 wins. Win the AFC East. Win at least 1 playoff game. Worst case: 9-10 wins, wild card. Still win 1 playoff game once we get in. I dont see anything less than that. We still have Josh. We still own the Division. We have a decent schedule this year.

Fair enough. I dont think it moves the needle much for the Dolphins, and I dont think he'd even see the field much in Buffalo. Agreed that no one needs to worry about the Dolphins.
