yes and no. This is OTP Roswell, not really Atlanta. Pretty close, but it's going to be a good 45 minute drive into the city with usual traffic, and much longer on a Friday night. If you come into the city and ITP (Inside the Perimeter), it changes significantly. We arent talking about the anomalies like Kamara and McCaffery. Barkley and Ekeler's contracts are new this year. Or it just means the market for RBs doesnt pay them well. Fine, let's say $4M, which is more than Singletary, Saquon Barkley, and Austin Ekeler just got. Plus the cap will be going up. The exact value doesnt matter. The point is, we can talk about some very good RBs that still make less than $5M/year. This isnt the WR market. If your guy performs well, and you can keep him for that cheap, you keep him.

That isnt significant money, imo, and doesnt fall into "paying stars". We pay special teamers more money than that. If Cook continues to produce and improve, no reason to not extend him a few more years at that rate.

I think he gets a 2nd contract. I dont think it breaks the bank or is anything crazy, as is the RB market. He makes about $1.5M/yr now. Maybe gets ~$3M-4M/yr on a 3yr extension. Ha! Pretty much where I'm at too.

I like how Chargers dummy laughs at the idea of our defense being healthier, and then cites losing Hyde, Poyer, and White, our 3 oldest/most injured defensive players.

Marrone and that Defense in 2014 definitely make the playoffs, maybe even the Super Bowl, with Josh. Marrone didnt want to develop a QB... from one of the worst QB classes of all time in 2013. I think given a talent like Josh, who was a top 10 pick in one of the more hyped classes, Doug would have coached him.

Those are all reasons he should sign whatever deal Miami has offered him. Tua is dumb if he plays this year without a new deal. But if he sits out and Miami lets him walk, his value wont be great either. Just make a deal already.

Dumb for him to hold out. I'm sure Miami's FO really doesnt want to give him $50-60M/year. Maybe that's the issue. The offers from the Dolphins are lower than he expected. If I were the Dolphins, I'd let him walk. But as a Bills fan I hope he gets himself a big contract there.

I actually dont hate them. The helmets are whatever, but I like the horizontal stripe on the jersey. Better than most of the "modern" looking jerseys.
