  1. I said this last night. If we still had Shaq and Jordan, our D would not have played like that. It is personal with them vs Tenn from last year. They would have been hyped, and at least one of them wouldve made a big play when we needed it (last year Jordan made THREE in that game). Was not impressed with Addison/Butler/Jefferson's flat performance. A lot of factors went into the loss last night. It was definitely a perfect storm of Bills BS. But his could have helped. Oh well.
  2. Plus a number of players out, and havent had a team practice in, what, 2 weeks+
  3. Good for the preacher, at least we're progressing to consenting adults! And yes. I would also bang those two on a church alter.
  4. Stack the box, stop Henry, put it on Tannehill to beat us (he cant). I dont like the way I feel about this game, but I'm chalking it up to the delays and scheduling stress. We should own them. LETS GO!
  5. Football IQ does NOT equal intelligence. He knows how to read defenses, he knows the good decisions to make on the field. That's it. Has no impact on his general intelligence, following science, etc.
  6. He has already been voted in by TBD
  7. Oof, the video in that second link is tough to watch. Not because the OLine is so much ignoring him, but because he's asking a bad question (with good intentions, which makes it even more awkward). He's asking "What do I need to do to help you guys?" And that is a nice enough question in theory. He's trying to take some responsibility. He's trying to put it on himself. But man, he comes across bad. Almost like he's saying "What else do I need to do to get you guys to do your job?". Or just coming off so clueless, they're like "I dont know, go ask your QB Coach". Dude isnt a leader of men.
  8. I want him to sign a contract with the Bills this offseason. A one day contract, so he can retire a Bill. Then go into the HALL OF FAME as a Bill. Oh! Oh! OH! FITZMAGIC!
  9. Mishew tops your list? Kyle Orton Jr, really? Give me Darnold or Jones out of that list. We can mold them into decent backups.
  10. It IS a very Falcons thing to do to squeak out a few stupid wins and take themselves out of the running. Everyone is already fully expecting that down here. I also think an Elway/Eli move is completely on the table to get himself out of going to the Jets. And I wouldnt blame him one bit.
  11. Well that's why I specified ownership situation. And I'd say it's about even between having Watson, and having (Ryan + Lawrence). But yes, if Falcons dont secure the #1 pick then Texans do edge out on existing roster.
  12. The Falcons will definitely be the hottest open job. IMO, a much better ownership situation than Texans, Jets, Lions, etc. Matt Ryan is barely standing on his last legs. But with a dead cap hit of $49M next year (and even $26M in 2022) I'm not sure how quickly the Falcons can move on from him. I'd be happy to see Lawrence land there, and sit behind Ryan for a year. I'd be happy to see Daboll land there (if he is going to go anywhere). I'm not necessarily scared/worried about either of them, but I'd still rather see them out of the Division and even the Conference if possible.
  13. This. We could not have a better coach to guide the team through this crazy season. I have full confidence McD will keep the team on track and focused exactly where they need to be. Which at this time is on Tennessee. They'll move on to KC immediately after the Titans game, same as they would no matter when it was played. We actually have MORE time to prepare under the new schedule (Tues to Sun) than we would have had on the original schedule (Sun to Thurs).
  14. If it doesnt bother the players, you shouldnt take it so hard. It's just a game.
  15. The number I originally calculated many pages back was $7.5M just on base salary, but I rounded up since I dont know how all the payouts work. $7.5M would still be a lot. That said, I'm not against hitting Titans ownership with that. I still remember when that old coot flipped us the double bird from his Owners Box. (I know that guy is dead, but still, eff them)
  16. $10M fine might be a bit much. Not that I disagree with the idea, but I'm sure the owners would not go for that.
  17. We were all in our early/mid 30s at the time. Just young enough to make it through the day, but old enough to take two weeks to recover and WISH we had just died.
  18. I once held a "Common Man Combine" party. Invited a bunch of folks over for a day of drinking and running drills. We did the usual Combine drills (marked out 40 yards on the sidewalk), and then some drinking/chugging contests. Pretty funny day. Suffice to say, none of us got a call to come to camp.
  19. I'm going to need to see @GunnerBill's analysis and rankings of TwoBillsDrive prospects.
  20. A season played through a pandemic that everyone already knew was kinda *****y going in.
  21. But then that gives us an unfair advantage over every other team. If they go by win %, and we have less games played but equal wins, we win that tie breaker. So to play the Reverse Uno card on you, what if they "cancel" a Pats game and we both have 11 wins at the end? They'll have a win % of of 73%, and ours will be 69% (ha, nice). There isnt a perfect answer to this.
  22. There really arent that many options. Especially when we are this early in the season and still have a lot of weeks that could also get effed up. I'd say the randomness of it is what makes it more fair than not. But what I expect to happen: The NFL will "postpone" the game to an undecided later date, tbd. With the idea of adding a week at the end. And if things get worse, they cancel/forfeit it. But that probably wont be ultimately determined until close to the end of the season. In other words, the NFL will string us along and eff this up for everyone involved.
