You aint wrong, but I cant like a post that talks about Tannehill being impressive. We owned him for a decade, and then rolled over for him last night. Pathetic.

Jerry losing a step should not be a surprise to anyone. It doesnt help that the refs arent calling holding at all this year. Otherwise, he's played alright. But we all knew this would be his last season as a Bill. This is why I banged the drum to trade for Yannick Ngakoue all offseason. Need YOUNG, pass rushing talent on this team.

Yes to both plus refs arent calling holding this year (and they never called it for Jerry anyways). -
Are their any D players available who are the positional equivalent to Leveon Bell? I'm all about adding to the D, but that doesnt mean we shouldnt/cant sign top O talent if it is out there.

Are we still a 9-7 team?
DrDawkinstein replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The funny part is I started this thread at 3-0 to get folks mentally prepared for a loss, and even a bad loss, and the fact that it doesnt necessarily ruin our entire season. But people seemed to have forgotten about the first 4 wins very quickly. We wont continue to play as badly as yesterday. We'll get key starters back from injury. We'll show up mentally & physically prepared. The season isnt over. -

No Jordan and Shaq to get in the OL's head and take them out of the game -

His long run was 34 yards. His other rushes were all dives to pick up 1st downs on short yardage plays. IMO, Yeldon was one of the few players to actually do his job last night. -
This. For the first time I can ever remember, I was yelling at the TV "STOP BLITZING". Completely ineffective and leaving our banged up secondary on islands to get exposed. Surprised they didnt adjust back into their base D in the second half.

I'll give Beane credit on the Williams signing. And I give a pass to Norman. No one expected him to be our #1 CB, and he looked like he could be a decent #2. I'll still hold out hope for him. But yeah, time to expand the horizons. -

It would be great if Beane could bring himself to sign a FA from anywhere besides Carolina. It's not like the Panthers have been a perennial powerhouse. Wasnt thrilled with replacing Shaq and Phillips with Butler and Addison when it happened. Even less thrilled now. -
Seriously though, what's up with these referees?

Forward laterals are always legal in Tennessee. That's nothing new. -
Are we still a 9-7 team?
DrDawkinstein replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh absolutely. Total team loss in all 3 phases, plus coaching, and even Strength&Conditioning (why were we winded the entire game?) I was just talking about the issues on Defense. -

Id argue the main issues last night was missing Milano and White. If even White plays, the game goes totally differently with him on Brown all night. That issue is completely fixable in just patiently waiting for both to return from injury next week. The other major issue was coming in flat and slow. That's on coaching and can be fixed. We've seen them play hyped before. They are capable of it. Just an off week. On to Kansas City. (There are definitely other issues that need to be addressed over time. Just saying, these were the two biggest last night, imo. And both of them can/will be fixed) -
We blitzed ALL NIGHT. Not one of them made it through tho. It left our DBs on islands to get picked apart. It goes way beyond scheme and just blitzing more.

Are we still a 9-7 team?
DrDawkinstein replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To clarify my own thread, the point was that we defintiely ARE NOT a 9-7 team. Even after last nights turd, I still think we are 11-5. The swing of emotions and hot takes around here this morning is ridiculous (although not surprising after 15 years on the board). -
Jordan Phillips has been missed
DrDawkinstein replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said this last night. If we still had Shaq and Jordan, our D would not have played like that. It is personal with them vs Tenn from last year. They would have been hyped, and at least one of them wouldve made a big play when we needed it (last year Jordan made THREE in that game). Was not impressed with Addison/Butler/Jefferson's flat performance. A lot of factors went into the loss last night. It was definitely a perfect storm of Bills BS. But his could have helped. Oh well. -

Good for the preacher, at least we're progressing to consenting adults! And yes. I would also bang those two on a church alter.

Stack the box, stop Henry, put it on Tannehill to beat us (he cant). I dont like the way I feel about this game, but I'm chalking it up to the delays and scheduling stress. We should own them. LETS GO! -
Jake Fromm explains life as Emergency Covid QB
DrDawkinstein replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Football IQ does NOT equal intelligence. He knows how to read defenses, he knows the good decisions to make on the field. That's it. Has no impact on his general intelligence, following science, etc. -
Haskins benched in Washington
DrDawkinstein replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oof, the video in that second link is tough to watch. Not because the OLine is so much ignoring him, but because he's asking a bad question (with good intentions, which makes it even more awkward). He's asking "What do I need to do to help you guys?" And that is a nice enough question in theory. He's trying to take some responsibility. He's trying to put it on himself. But man, he comes across bad. Almost like he's saying "What else do I need to do to get you guys to do your job?". Or just coming off so clueless, they're like "I dont know, go ask your QB Coach". Dude isnt a leader of men.
