And I don't see why people reach that conclusion. In baseball, even the best pitchers like Skubal get lit at least a couple of times a year. No one has their A game all the time. It's just that such a stinker from Josh is rare. Also people have their narratives and do not want facts to get in the way. For example, the Bills receivers suck and Beane should be fired. It has to be the receivers were not open, not that Josh did not throw to the correct guy.

And that is inexcusable. When you have a mediocre receiving corps, not getting your second-best athlete involved in all ways is coaching malpractice.

Agree. But long term I think Josh having a bad game is preferable to many of the takes that the whole team is a dumpster fire and Josh is fed up. Josh will be OK.

Agree. But he had options with the pressures and did not see/take them. He had a shi**y game. It happens to all athletes. He will rebound. As will the team I suspect.

Well sure. Favorites mid-season have only about a 10% chance of winning SB. Notwithstanding what many here think, winning it all is never probable.

What I want or you want is irrelevant. I don't think these guys are going anywhere in the near future and a vocal group of fans wanting them fired is not going to do anything. I could be wrong. But I doubt it. This front office and coaching staff are very very good by any objective viewpoint, particularly for a team that was in the wilderness for two decades.

That is all true. My point was that many thought Cowher would never win a SB. But his teams were always good and he finally broke through. Management gave him the time. The Bills will do the same with Beane and McDermott as long as the team keeps performing at a very high level. So, everyone can piss and moan all they want about firing people, but it ain't gonna happen anytime soon unless one of you buys the team from Mr. Pegula.

This thread is so repetitive and waste of time. Bill Cowher won his first and only SB after 10 seasons. With this front office and coach turning the franchise from a laughingstock to a consistent power and media darling, no one is going nowhere anytime soon. Give it a break.
