guys.... lets not get crazy here, i think they are talking about everyone in general. You're going to kill yourself racking your brain trying to think about which player they are talking about.... they are talking about everyone. -

Realistic Scenarios where on of the "Big 7" Drop
ans4e64 replied to JimBob2232's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont really see this playing out. I dont think they will want to have 2 of the same safeties in their defensive backfield. Ed Reed and Huff are the same style, both coverage safeties, they need a safety to be able to play up in the box like Demps did, i dont see Huff fitting their style of SS. -

Normally, i would say that panthers scenario sounds likely, but not in this years draft. There are a ton of 1st rd LB's in this draft and they can easily get a great one at the end of the round, where in years past that wasnt the case. Now, id they feel they are only a few players away, and dont mind giving up the picks then just maybe, but they are at #27 and they would have to give up a considerable amount to basically move up a whole round, which is unlikely. I totally agree with you on the 49ers and Huff. I think both the niners and oakland's Safety situations are worse than ours, and he could go to either one of those teams. This is probably the most likely scenario to play out. Denver is only a few players away, and their offense misses a TE and they have the picks to move up easily. Lets not forget about Minnesota. I think Denver and Minn both want to move up, the Vikings are hot on getting a QB, watch for them. -

WHO is going to trade up to get the Saints #2 pick
ans4e64 replied to cantankerous's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont agree, Jammal Brown plays RT, and he played RT in college, they lost the whole left side of their line in Gandy, Jacox, and Bentley. Brown has never played LT in his life, they really need lineman bad.... BUT.... i think the most glaring need pick for them is A.J. Hawk. They have no backers already and Watson is on the trading block, i think NO will trade down.... still in the top 5..... and take hawk. Jets will be a trading partner to jump ahead of tennessee to take leinart. -
If we draft Huff. We'll have to call him the Big

jason peters must be an athlete lol -
i heard someone the other day on espn say that pete should be in the hall of fame for his playing career, and not as a manager when he gambled, and i'd say i have to agree

i guess a lot of people dont share the same opinions as i, but personally, i dont understand how we cant be on his ass. the reason he gets way more attention than those other players is because he's about to break hank aaron's all time home run record, which is a huge thing, those other players arent there. if he is found guilty, i think the scuttle was he started in 1998 with steroids, if that is found correct i think they should remove all the home runs he hit from that point on, they shouldnt count. You can clearly see the spike in his numbers. as for the other players, i dont think it matters because they're not breaking one of the best records in baseball i dont think he should be in the hall of fame either, he cheated, why should he be rewarded? i heard..... i think it was jim rome..... say that in 1998 before he took steroids he would have been in the hall of fame anyways. I say to that.... so you just forget he used steroids? i dont understand that argument at all. i know a lot of people are going to flame me, but honestly thats just my opinion

personally, i know that when everyone is against me on something i will only fight harder. I think that if everyone supports him and tries to rationally talk about it, he might do some thinking and turn out to make a better decision. He sounds like he can think for himself based on his accalades. Tell him you would do the college thing in a supportive way, and then talk about the benefits of getting married now, dont talk about the negatives it will only turn him away from you. -

Terrell Owens already missing team workouts
ans4e64 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
thats correct, if you read closely it says "His initial absences were understood because of a prior commitment, but Owens in the past has preferred to work with his own trainer." It also said he was at the one on thursday, so im thinking that he his prior commitment is over, and they are just speculating he might miss more because in the past he had a personal trainer, i dont think he actually has missed them yet. I could be just reading it wrong though but it seems like the media will try to find anything on him. -
here we go with your level of reading skill again, less dead? the investigation would be held to find out who shot first and who was in self defense, the other guy isnt dead, so he can be charged if he survives. btw, its pointless arguing with you when you're not bringing anything to the thread, if you want to make a point about the subject, then do it, but dont sit back and try to pick at examples or things not relating to the main theme of the post.
