  1. That's a great clip. Merry Christmas to all!
  2. Is Hunt passing for the Chiefs or is Green? I go Green.
  3. I go Romo. Better offense. Better playmaker. .........Better ask someone else.
  4. I'd go Westbrook for sure and ride the hot hand of Jones-Drew. Betts has been running hard, but I see the Skins playing from behind big in this game.
  5. So I make it to the semis only to learn that DJ is out Thursday night in a good play against San Fran. here is a list of my WRs. J. Walker @ Arizona (nothing in 4 weeks...seemingly no connection thus far w/ Cutler) M. Colston vs Redskins D. Henderson vs Redskins D. Mason vs Browns DJ Hackett vs San Fransisco Before I learned of Jacksons loss, I toyed with starting both Saints WRs. Redskins horrible pass defense plus Brees playing out of his mind has me thinking this way. Which 3 would you start? Colston, Walker and..............?
  6. NOBODY! Playing both F. Taylor AND M. Jones-Drew was a godsend. I get weekly high and move on to the semis. I got KILLED in my league prior to the days action for playing both Jag backs. For a day, I was genius. I knocked out the #1 team in the process. I'm pumped!!
  7. College male cheerleader of the week...... WRONG FORUM!!!!!
  8. Missed that. So you need two, huh? Since Delhomme is likely out, I'd go Smith. I think his matchup will be more up and down the field. Good luck either way.
  9. Hasselbeck. Do you want your season riding on Alex Smith? I don't trust his receivers, either.
  10. You know, I'm really teetering. Hasselbeck might be the call. Thanks for chiming in.
  11. Regarding QB, my opponent has C. Johnson. Negating to a degree, the production of Palmer. Plus my feeling is that Oakland will not put any points (hell, they couldn't at home against the Texans) and it could be the R. Johnson show. On the other hand, The Cards at home should be more of a game against the Seahawks. Having the Hasselbeck/Jackson combo is enticing. Free of "sharing" points (Palmer/CJ). Tough call. ....and thanks.
  12. OK gurus of the board. Give me your best advice. Who should go for me this weekend? Palmer vs Raiders or Hasselbeck @ Arizona ************************************ Pick 2 RBs from the following T. Bell @ San Diego D. McAllister @ Dallas F. Taylor vs Colts M. Jones-Drew vs Colts I'm actually toying with both Jag runners. I've done it before with good results. Taylor got 100 yds and Jones-Drew punched in TDs. Bell ran well last week and McAllister has been very solid, but both have tough run Ds to contend with. I'm really torn about the QBs, but am leaning towards Palmer.
  13. An inexact science, this FF we play, isn't it? It can rip your heart out.
  14. inkman, I tried to acquire Grossman a few weeks earlier. I remember thinking what GOOD matchups he had during the playoffs. The deal didn't get done for whatever reason. I'm glad it didn't happen. I hope you have other options or that he straightens out for you.
  15. Henderson, Walker, Palmer........I won, but barely.........I'm concerned moving into the playoffs....
  16. Good gravy!! I think he's playing solitaire!!! Answer the man, LSI. How many teams in the league you're romping in?
  17. 10 team league. Standard scoring. Two divisions of 5. Two division winners get a bye. 2nd and 3rd place play week 14 and winner of that plays division winner for right to play week 16 for championship. This week 13 is meaningless to me. I'm locked into 3rd place. Trade deadline past last week. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1TE, 1K and 1 Defense. Here's my roster. QB....Palmer, Hasselbeck RB....D. McAllister, F. Taylor, M. Jones-Drew, T. Bell, M. Bell WR...J. Walker, D. Jackson, M. Colston, D. Henderson, D. Mason TE....R. McMichael, B. Utecht K......J. Scobee, R. Longwell Def...Steelers, Panthers Self evaluation......sketchy at RB and TE and hoping to play the hot guys. Good, if not very good elsewhere. We'll see. What do you have going on?
  18. Colston vs Tampa Driver @ Buffalo Walker @ Pittsburgh Bruce @ Kansas City Branch vs Raiders M. Jones @ Tennesee Any advice would be much appreciated.
  19. Right. But Deuce is averaging 4.8 ypc and WM 3.9. I own Deuce and would not trade him for WM. WM will get more carries, DM will more effeciently outpoint WM. Therefore, Bush and Deuce stand alone.
  20. Rivers, Plummer, Losman, Harrington (Harrington ?) are all "good" plays, IMO. Bush should shine against an aggresive upfield defense. He should see lots of swing passes and screens. He's a good bet to take one the distance in this game.
  21. Understood. Suddenly the trade route is looking awfully appealing, inkman.
  22. You know, I picked him up and now have a QB by committee. Carr/Favre/Grossman. Playing what seems to be the best matchup weekly. It hasn't killed me yet. Having said that, I'm not crazy about his play against what should be a rather ornery Dallas club at home. He might get banged around a bit.
