  1. I would love to see that but I think it could prove damaging if we ever wanted future FAs to come here.
  2. Call me a sucker but my interest is definitely peaked to see IF Jp can get on the same page with these track stars on our WR corps... I am just not holding my breath
  3. I believe that when this season is over, you will look back and see huge strides in most every position on the field. The key word with this team is potential which Mularkey would not know what to do with if it was standing right in front of him - ohh wait, it was. McGahee was not even used on third down for Christ sake. Talk about clueless as a coach. Receivers on this team are freakin' speed demons who (with the right QB) could create some major problems. Our offensive line is going to take a year to gel but when the time comes, it will be just fine. Special teams - enough said Tight ends have not been used in ten years and now we have one that blocks and one that could prove to be a nice chain mover. Defensively, Spikes is hopefully back with Crowell and Fletcher - not bad if you ask me. Our defensive line is a big? but could it be any worse from last year - doubt it. With a Coach in here that has brains and who players trust, there is no reason that after a year together, these guys can't make it work. That my friend is why I believe this team needs a leader for WHEN it all comes together. (not to mention the recent draft which many say we stole some pretty good up and coming talent in later rounds)
  4. I agree - substantial improvement must be seen on JP this year to validate him as a work in progress. Playoffs are a pipedream, but asking JP to prove that he deserves more time is not......
  5. And yes, I think the youth movement and talented acquisitions that have taken place over the past few months has this team moving in the right direction. I believe that there is a lot of excitement building around this team for the next few years and until we find that QB that has eluded the Bills for so many years, it will never transpire into something special. I really want to believe that we have one of these gems in camp but something just tells me Bills fans will still be waiting for THAT guy. Any other choice but Losman to start this season will truly tell me that there is a bunch of garbage behind center. That being said, cummon JP it is NOW OR NEVER!!!!!!
  6. I would be willing to give Losman the full year just to finally move on to the future (whoever that QB might be). I guess if Losman cannot beat out an average 10 year backup, than we are in a lot more trouble than expected. JP weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere waaaaaaaaaaaaaaiting...........
  7. than the experts out there. There is not one piece of information about this team that slips by this board. That is why I have never taken any offense to all the so called experts out there saying how horrible we are. When they were all saying how Marv Levy was such an off the wall comfort pick as GM, the people in Buffalo knew the kind of guy that was coming back to town. We all see what this team is like on a daily basis (more or less). I think there is a sense of something good building here that a lot of folks outside of the city could NEVER put a finger on. Kepp moving forward boys!
  8. I love the fact that Marv is not taking crap from anyone on this team. VERY VERY REFRESHING!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like this team is going to be a good bunch of guys who are willing to step into any situation asked of them. Too bad Whitner.....
  9. Both scenarios very well could be a reach but I had to come up with these numbers to see where people stood on the subject. (Coasting with Holcomb and being middle of the road or letting it fly with Losman even if it means going down in flames.) I would rather go down in flames and rid the team of this 2-3 headed experiment. Hopefully Losman comes out to shine....
  10. THat is pretty much how I feel about the situation. Let's just hope that Losman can step it up enough in camp.
  11. What do you think makes the most sense? I believe that Nall is not going to win this job so I pose this question for the other two. I would rather find out once and for all what this team has in Losman. Going 8-8 means absolutely nothing to me if that includes not making the playoffs. What are your thoughts? This 4-12 stat does not suggest that Losman equals bad record because I think Losman has a chance to reach a respectable record. I just want to see who else (if anybody) believes that Holcomb just postpones any REAL success for the future of this team.
  12. This is an extremely good point!!!!
  13. try these guys - I called but got machine - if not, you can always pick up a great Cookie Gilchrist jersey! http://www.hr-derby.com/football.php
  14. Ohhh it is good to be back in the thick of things - I missed this humor !!!!
  15. I know that there are certain companies that you can send your jersey to and they will take care of the name plate. I believe it was a hockey company but I will check.
  16. holy crap - i just watched the Malarchuk injury that was the video listed underneath it - that was scary....I forgot how brutal that was.
  17. hopefully (if not this year) Marv can get something done for the 07 season. I really think (for the first time in a loooooooooooooooong time) they hit the nail squarely on the head with this entire uni from head to toe.
  18. those unis are the BEST IN FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggg!!!!!! Almost as frustrating as the new Sabes logo...
  19. Since those are already in use, how much heads up time would the NFL need to switch. I guess it would not work since they would have to come up with a white jersey as well. Dang...
  20. What a perfect opportunity to wipe the slate clean of all the garbage that has travelled through the organization in the past 6 years and bust those out for good!! If only.........
  21. cold dose of reality#2 If Brick is not there at 8, no way in hell will the Bills stay at 8!!
