  1. should have left off the outlined Buffalo on the back - Soooo close
  2. actually they said that the Moulds situation would not be addressed in this Press C.
  3. I could not agree more - Great Post! Especially since N'gata's time yesterday does not fit in with What Marv is looking for.
  4. There is always a guy who sky rockets a few months before the draft and Davis is the guy. Fillthe tight end vacancy AND helps with the departure of Moulds. Now that N'gata does not look like a pick worthy of #8, you would have to take a look at Davis.
  5. Ferguson WILL NOT I repeat WILL NOT ever fall to the Bills. This guy is toted as the best OT in a long time and will anchor any teams line for the next 10 years. The Bills will have to trade up if they have any chance of getting him.
  6. Why not, a secondary Coach that was fired heading up our Defense...PERFECT!!!!!!
  7. It's called they had 6 lucky A$$ plays in 6 games to win in miraculous fashion!! I lived there during the Jauron years and it was horrible. I have already had over 10 friends in Chicago call me today asking what the #### we were thinking with the hire
  8. This whole hire makes me sick to my stomach - I also lived in Chicago during the Jauron era and it just plain SUCKED!!! The fact that the Bills went with the comfortable hire again is just disgraceful to the fans!!!!!!!!!!! Have fun when he brings in his loser QB coach from his Bears days to be Offensive Coordinator - LOSER!!
  9. I drove 5 hours back to college after that game with a huge Bills magnet on the car just loving the fact that everyone knew I was a Bills fan. What a day - What A Day!!!!!!
  10. It would seem that the decision to go back to the unis worn in the texans game would be as obvious as picking Mike Sherman as Head Coach. Fire It Up!!
  11. I am just hoping that these next interviews are for the coordinator slots. If that is the case then the Bills could have some serious talent behind the scenes. Just hoping i guess
  12. This supposed Caldwell interview set for tomorrow has got BAD NEWS written all over it for Mike Sherman. Who do the Bills think they are kidding with this guy? Something wicked this way comes....
  13. There are always going to be cases against every candidate but the main issue is that he has the fewest flaws out of them all. It is obvious that the Bills brass is going to hire someone with previous head coaching experience and he is heads and tails above his competition
  14. If the Bills had half the injuries that Sherman dealt with last year, we would all be discussing who Buffalo will be picking at the # 1 spot.
  15. I cannot explain how much this is torturing me. This is the most important decision (in myopinion) in the past ten years. This decision by Marv and Co. will have a very serious effect as to how I view Bills football and the men running the organization. The next press conference is going to let me know how much ownership is dedicated to winning. I beg of you Marv and Ralph - steer us in the right direction. I know how much the Bills mean to Buffalo and everyone on this board which is why I am truly crossing my fingers that the right man is hired for the job. Again, it is only my opinion but is there really anyone else out there that should be heading up this team?
  16. Seriously, what is the big hold up? There are just too many reasons to hire Sherman: 1) Record 2) Gets respect of players 3) coached Favre who some experts were comparing to young Losman 4) Is fond of Losman right off the bat 5) Could bring in Bates as DC 6) coming from a town that rotates around football just like Buffalo 7) He is a PROVEN WINNER 8) The bills play Bears, Green Bay, Detroit and Minnesota next year (hey it's a stretch but it is a positive) #9 HE IS THE BEST REMAINING TALENT OUT THERE!!! Just hire him already.......
  17. Well I don't think that you could have dreamt a better scenario for this Bills game. Buffalo came out with a victory and Losman is now the starting QB whether Mularkey wants to admit it or not. Hopefully everyone is on the same page and realizes that the best thing for this team right now and for the future is to have JP Losman on the field. There could have been a lot of things to complain about today if the Bills had not come out victorious. Coaching continues to be sketchy at best and the offensive line continues to struggle. Why is Mularkey admitting that he made a mistake by starting Mike Williams at Left Guard AFTER the game? Does he not get paid to understand when someone is and is not ready? I am still having a hard time figuring out why he insists on using gadget plays on 4th and one. Aside from coaching, I think that this team is headed in the right direction. I truly felt relief when I first saw Losman marching out on to the field for the first time in 5 weeks. There was a feeling that all was right in the football world and it seemed that the whole stadium knew it. We no longer have to discuss about who gives the Bills the best chance to win because that question was answered yesterday. I Don't think it was a bad decision to give Holcomb the nod in week five as it looks like Losman needed the time to reflect on his mistakes and get his emotions in check. JP came out swinging and his new attitude is everything BUT new. He is finally playing the only way he knows how (with a chip on his shoulder.) He knows how fast his job can be taken away and I don't suspect that it will be happening again any time soon. Although it is going to be tough to make up the one game difference that separates the Bills and the Patriots, it will be nice to see the team progress around Losman. Management should have a pretty good idea about JP by seasons end and will be able to decipher whether he is the QB for years to come. The road ahead is not pretty as the schedule looks very ominous. I still believe that the loss to the Patriots in Foxboro will prove to be the game that everybody will look back and say "that was the one that got away." New England's schedule is a cake walk compared to what lies ahead for Buffalo. There is excitement in the air as the Defense stepped it up big time against a potent Chiefs Offense. What fans will have to realize is that Losman will still make his fare share of mistakes as he continues to get more comfortable with the Offense. Overall, I think it was a pretty good team effort yesterday and if the Bills can figure out how to limit a team to less than 100 yards rushing, it should prove to be an interesting finish. Although nobody likes to see a player injured, it was good to see Losman was not just handed the job again. He was forced into the game and he PROVED that he deserves to be the starter again. There should have been a healthy competition during training camp and pre-season instead of just giving him a job that he was not prepared to handle. It was great to see his confidence soar and just let the ball fly. Take a collective sigh and enjoy the victory as the Bills will now get ready for their toughest game of the season in San Diego. It's a new season and Losman is not looking back!
  18. I was reading some comments on the newly elected mayor in Buffalo Rising which is 'New Buffalo's' new on-line read and there were some interesting points that were discussed in a comment section. Any thoughts? http://www.buffalorising.com/home/archives...alo_mayoral.php
  19. Whoever said you had to be smart to run for mayor? I would rather have a leader than some cookie cutter follower who says whatever they think it will take to get elected.
  20. I am not saying that Kelly is the Answer for mayor, I was wondering if the topic was ever brought up to him. Second of all, by the time Brown finshes off all the ass kissing and paybacks to the same ole people, the city is going to be worse off than before if that is even possible. What we need is a business person to run this city - someone with no political ties at all. After that, I would give Kelly a shot (even though it's some wishfull thinking).
  21. That is THE FUNNIEST post I have EVER read!!!! Nice Work!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. In all seriousness, has he ever mentioned this as a possibility for the future. He cares about the city, has the $$ and I think it would a refreshing option from the political goons who continue to try and run this city. Any thoughts??? Has he ever been approached on this topic??
