I just don’t know where the depth goes..We have our starters.
We have Lael Collins pushing to start, but also slots in as backup OG, OT.
And we have two guys in the system that the FO likes a lot in Anderson (IOL) and Van Demark (OT)
That’s 8 guys right there. Room for one more on the active roster, so another guy could make it as OL9.
Yeah, I'm just talking about using one pick on OL. I was mainly just adding a piece to the inventory you laid out.
CB, RB2, WR are my main priorities. They should take a flier on an edge, but I never liked this draft class at that position.

Franklin, Walker, Baker as WR’s all make sense, along with TJ Tampa at CB and Mo Kamara at EDGE if they drop and/or Bills move up.
Will probably take a RB at some point tomorrow.
RB2 is more than an afterthought. They need a bruiser.
I'd still like to add OL depth. In general, I agree with your list.

I can see Kincaid having a breakout year, and we don't know what to expect out of Coleman. I wouldn't say zero.
I wouldn't either, but they need another plus talent in the WR room, imo, and I don't think it's in the draft.
Maybe Beane does have a post 6/1 trade lined up, I dunno.

The Bills have a type of player and that is a high character, high effort, smart football player. They have done this for years.
Look at all 3 guys they drafted. All have those qualities, all are team before themselves.
Coleman is a highly intelligent high effort WR who is a great leader
Carter- Only 3 year captain in Duke Football history. Relentless football player who never stops.
Bishop- Tough tackler for one of the toughest coaches in college football.
The Bills take more steak guys than sizzle. Is that the right philosophy I dont know but its their philosophy whether we like it or not
It gets you into the playoffs where you lose in the divisional round.

Cribbing from the other thread:
I'm not gonna be reasonable anymore. For a guy who talks about getting more explosive Beane gets:
- a plodding big slot WR
- an overdraft at a devalued position
- a no-traits defensive lineman to backup your best D player
That looks like a fail for an in-window reset. Minimal upside, and a failure to add the very thing you talked about adding to the roster - explosiveness.
This isn't about Franklin, this is about traits and value positions. I wouldn't have drafted anyone Beane did in the places he drafted them. Hopefully the fact that he gets paid millions of dollars to do this ***** means he'll be more correct, but I. Just. Hate. This. Day 2.
It's a baffling draft. They are still following a Carolina model. I don't like it. And you are correct, the rhetoric about explosive playmakers doesn't match up with their actions.

Know nothing about him but DT is a need. Is he more of a 1T or 3T?

This would not shock me in the least. RB2 is a sneaky need, we met with him at the Combine. and he's a perfect fit for what we need and 95 is around the area where I expect him to go. I'd be here for it.
Please stop talking about it. It's a jinx.

95 feels like classic Beane running back spot. Would be cool to get Franklin or Walker. The McCromick guy is interesting. TJ Tampa is a good scheme fit.
I was afraid to say it. Braelon Allen. We're building a bully. He's a hammer.

People need to explore the relationship they have with speed. Gabe was our home run hitter with 4.54. Diggs was highly effective with deeper routes early in his time here. Most people aren't flying by DB's at the NFL level. What is the playing speed? Coleman has elite physical skills. Size and vertical. He has playing speed. He's not a guy that is all legs when he runs. He has very nice agility in and out of his breaks. Nacua ran a 4.57, he's far more athletic than Nacua. The NFL isn't only about speed. Josh has never had a true contested catch monster like this. It's going to be a blast watching those two in the red zone.
So, he wasn't my guy, but now that he's the pick, I'm looking forward. I hope the positive interpretations are correct.
You can make a plausible case, but not everyone who was against the pick is a moron who just looked at the forty time.
Some of us watched a lot of youtube and podcasts and read numerous analyses.
Anyway, for certain, Coleman has basketball finesse to his game. That's not unimportant. It's what made a TE like Gates so effective. I want the fella to be good.
And for sure, he's built for bad weather and playoff football.

In my mock I legit had like 4 Michigan guys to LA just so I could hit cause you knew Harbaugh had to take at least 1If you were really smart, you would have put some money on it.

At 95 that's decent value.
I read some analyses that made me wary of him, but you know, if they take the fella, I'll hope he lives up to his potential.

4.57 for DeAndre Hopkins.
As long as he has good game speed, he'll be fine and fans will be thanking their lucly stars for his combination great hands and solid 6'4" frame.
Yeah, if Hopkins is the comp and it comes true, it's a home run.

When I watched his tape instead of reading reports and watching a single highlight video. That post was after my very first foray into the class. I spent an embarrassing amount of time watching tape of the top 8 or so guys.
Every true Bills' fan wants him to succeed. I hope you're right. It's clear they think he can be a boundary X, because I'm sure they don't want to take Kincaid off the field.

Any chance they take Cole Bishop?
If they go D, I'd rather it was a safety. Bullard or Bishop, imo.

Colts are having a hell of a draft. They're taking some chances on medicals with both players, I guess, but I like those picks.

Coleman to me also was best suited as a big slot guy. We have two slot guys in Shakir and Coleman
And Kincaid who thrives there.

I think they can get Franklin at 60, if they want him. That would be both receivers that I hoped they would not draft.
Me, too, which is why I think it will happen now.

He seems like he’s built like a tank. WR more in the Shakir mold than a speedster.
Hoping we trade up for Franklin.
I wanted Mitchell and McConkey, but with Coleman, Franklin is the fella I would take a shot on.
He wasn't my favorite, but it has to be an X and a Z. Franklin does fit the Diggs' profile, imo. -
Just now, gonzo1105 said:
Keon Coleman is plenty athletic. You don’t play high level D1 basketball and football being a subpar athleteDo you think he can play on the boundary and win? The players with his profile that have had success did so out of the slot.
How are they going to make that work and keep Kincaid on the field?

I just assumed Van Pran was gone. Walker in the fourth, okay.
Guerendo or Braelon Allen at RB. I wouldn't mind Kendall Milton later in the draft.
