  1. Did you watch the game? Texas should have put up way more points than that. Having Chizik ready to leave Texas didn't help either.
  2. Perhaps, but that doesn't mean KSU was good. Colt McCoy got injured in that game and the whole thing went to hell. I think it was more Texas sucking than KSU being good. It seems a stretch to go further than that.
  3. Wouldn't happen. No way Jim Mora, Jr. wants to be around Vick. My guess is that after the trade, Mora resigns.
  4. Oh hell yeah there is. I love the mexican food around here. My roommate and I go to this place called Baby A's (acapulco) which has the best fajitas and flacas that I've ever had. They also have these purple margaritas which are freakin' awesome. 3 shots of 151 proof vodka and they taste like candy. I love em! Some of the other places are Chuys, Trudy's, El Patio, and others are great. Abuelos was great too before it became a chain, now they cut costs and the food stinks. I heard they were building one in Buffalo.
  5. Well, success in college doesn't indicate success in the NFL. Plenty of coaches have shown that. It'll be interesting to see if Petrino can make the jump.
  6. I think the whole argument that you have to draft a certain position at a certain pick is extremely underwhelming. What makes a good draft pick is the player that you select, not where you select him at or what position you select him at.
  7. I'm in a minority, especially being in Texas, but I hate avocados and guacamole.
  8. Guess I don't exist then either.
  9. People just don't understand the meaning of the word troll anymore do they?
  10. USB drivers are included in the chipset driver package. Here's the link: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...p;fileid=149851
  11. You mean that fantasy football helps the NFL's ratings? What a shocker! Maybe next you'll say that good games also help the NFL's ratings.
  12. Looks good. I'm looking forward to Hannibal, Reno 911, Ocean's 13 (maybe!), Simpsons Movie, Saw 4, and I'll probably end up seeing Harry Potter movie due to friends too.
  13. I think it comes down to Florida's defense as to whether they can keep it close or not. That being said, I don't know much about Florida's defense. I have watched OSU a lot this year though, enough to know they are a damn good football team. Therefore, my absolutely worthless prediction is Ohio State 34, Florida 28.
  14. Oh yeah, getting Saban was huge for Alabama. Someone of his calibre instantly makes that program and recruiting 5,000x better.
  15. The article doesn't actually mention whether attorneys are concerned about illegal immigrants or legal immigrants they are defending. In fact, the quote that was posted, just simply says "immigrants". Its worded to imply that illegal immigrants are the ones that aren't getting a fair shake but it doesn't actually say that. Anyway, it does raise a concern about the judge and his ability to rule without bias. However, while that does happen, given his position and the system of appeals in place, I'm sure his ruling would be reviewed enough to where it would be overturned if there was a perceived bias involved. Does it raise questions that there might be a problem? Sure does, I don't think theres anyway to deny that. But does this mean that he's going to suck at his job? No, a childrens book doesn't mean crap.
  16. Well, it depends on how you are ranking it. If you are ranking it as best to worst presidents, then no. If you are ranking it as most influential, then you have to take the bad with the good adn look at everything they did.
  17. Yeah, thats it, I'd prefer a playoff system because I parrot what ESPN says. I'm not sure thats the case. You ask anyone whether they'd prefer the BCS over pre-BCS years, and the answer would be a resounding yes. The problem is that there is a better system available, already being sed in the lower divisions, and that would work. Therefore, the BCS is always going to be put down compared to what could be.
  18. Okam isn't the type of player thats going to get a ton of tackles. He's a guy that will push the opposing offensive line backwards, but don't look for him to cause a lot of sacks or pressure. Unfortunately, I don't think Okam is the type of DT they are looking for in the cover-2.
  19. Weis is his college head coach, but his opinion shouldn't count for anything? I think his real opinion should count for a lot. The problem is figuring out what his real opinion is. When he talks about Quinn, is he doing it because he really thinks that or is he trying to support his players?
  20. Canadian Beer >>>>> American Beer
  21. Not at that point. Free Agency started March 3rd, and most of the good players were snatched up. We had already signed Fowler to play center, but had no one to fill in safety. They went for a need, and felt he as their guy. Sounds like that would have put us in the bottom of the 1st round, at least according to the NFL Draft Value Chart. Its possible that Marv really did want Mangold but wasn't willing to take the risk to drop down that far and lose out on him. Well, yeah, since we have starters there. I hope Marv drafts the best player available at a needed position (and there are plenty of them). Last year he obviously felt that was Whitner, and safety was a need position. Pigeon-holing yourself into taking only offensive linemen is a bad way to do things. I'd like to see a bunch of different positions addressed in the offseason, including: 1.) Inside O Lineman 2.) Defensive Line 3.) Linebacker 4.) Tight End 5.) Cornerback (if Nate leaves, we've got huge issues at CB.) 6.) Wide Receiver 7.) Fullback 8.) Backup QB (if Nall isn't the guy) If this means that, yes, a CB is the best guy available at our pick, Marv should take him. Likewise, if a lineman is the best guy available, he should be taken.
  22. I dunno about that. I'd take Fowler and Whitner over Mangold and Coy Wire as starters. I dunno about that either. It depends on where the Bills COULD have traded down too.
  23. I was only praising the civil rights acts that he passed through, not the rest of the stuff I mentioned. He *was* isntrumental in the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act of the mid 1960s. I wasn't judging his overall presidency as glowing or not. Boondock said that he simply sent troops to Vietnam and did nothing else. My point was he did a whole helluva lot more (for better or worse).
  24. You guys could always ask the NFL for a bandwagon team. Apparently I should be a Bears fan.
  25. While I like the site, that guy's a dumbass.
