She comes from a town where they call her the woodcutter's daughter. She's brown as the bank where she kneels down to gather her water. And she bears it away with the love that the river has taught her, Let it flow, greatly flow, wide and clear.

Daniel Jeremiah 2020 mock draft 1.0
Bill from NYC replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Amazing post!!! Seriously. To this day I cannot understand the selection of Kouandjio. He was a good kid but he was the 4th (perhaps even 5th) best player on that OL and I posted it on this board. Not only that, he was seriously injured. For me not to want to draft a LT AND a player from Alabama is monumental, no? I do hope that he recovered from his problem. He was a really good kid in Tuscaloosa. No problems whatsoever. -
This happens when you trade up and use early picks for corners. Just kidding.

Oh, I hear her voice as the cold winds blow, In the sweet music on my radio, Have you seen her? Tell me have you seen her? Why, oh, why Did she have to leave and go away? Oh...oh...oh...oh...oh... I've been used to havin' someone to lean on, And I'm lost, baby I'm lost.

Absolutely and I am sure that there is WAY more to this story, none of it good.

I'm sorry. Over the years there have been some hilarious posts from people with serious complaints about some smoking hot women. I think the SDS even commented about it once if I recall. Looking at it your way the post actually WAS quite funny!

I can understand this response. After all, better looking women than her are beating down your door every minute of every day, right? And btw I do not defend their actions. Very stupid and very dangerous if you read the article. That said, the woman is hot.

Like a hurricane around your heart, When earth and sky are torn apart, He comes gathering up the bits, While hoping that the puzzle fits, He leaves you. He leaves you. Freedom Rider.

No. It means they are miles ahead of the rancid OLs that we were forced to suffer through for 2 decades or so. My rants were repetitive but true. I can type a list of 30 or so blockers we had that were just awful. Remember when McNally was going to fix it? Please. That said, I think that teams should always try to find talented blockers. Now we have a young QB with a monster arm, one of the strongest in the league. He needs more/better targets. Jmo.

When I was just a little young boy, Papa said "Son you'll never get far. I'll tell you the reason, if you want to know, Cause child of mine, there really isn't very, far to go. Well baby baby wants a gold diamond ring, Wants it more than almost any old thing. Well when I get those jelly roll blues, Why I'd go and get, anything in this world for you.

Happy and I'm smiling, Walk a mile to drink your water. You know I'd love to love you, And above you there's no other. We'll go walking out, While others shout of war's disaster. Oh, we won't give in, Let's go living, in the past.

Sammy Watkins: New Teams, Same Bad Attitude
Bill from NYC replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I couldn't stand Whaley as a GM. I still view him as having acted like an undisciplined child. That said, the above is not possible to argue and at the same time maintain credibility. -
Now The mist across the window hides the lines But nothing hides the color of the lights that shine Electricity so fine Look and dry your eyes We So tired of all the darkness in our lives With no more angry words to say Can come alive Get into a car and drive To the other side Me babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light You babe, steppin' out Into the night Into the light

Went to see the captain, strangest I could find, Laid my proposition down, laid it on the line. I won't slave for beggar's pay, likewise gold and jewels, But I would slave to learn the way, to sink your ship of fools. Ship of fools, on a cruel sea, Ship of fools, sail away from me. It was later than I thought, when I first believed you, Now I cannot share your laughter, ship of fools.

Punching the time, I'm late again, Sneak in the back way. I count the hours, minutes too, So glad it's Friday (so glad it's Friday). Jump in my ride, It's Friday night. Livin' it up, livin' it up Oh, yeah, Friday night Livin' it up, livin' it up at last Living it up, livin' it up Oh, yeah, Friday night Livin' it up, livin' it up at last

Now I'll relate this a little bit That happens more than I'd like to admit Late at night she knocks on my door She's drunk again and looking to score Now I know I should say no But that's kind of hard when she's ready to go I may be dumb But I'm not a dweeb I'm just a sucker with no self-esteem
