  1. Doesn't it also say that MM has a better handle on what his O-line can do than CV does? Based on his own performance this year, Villarrial ought to shut his yap...
  2. Actually, all it says to me is that TD has already been sacked and MM is the highest ranking front office person still on staff. That may (or may not) change over the next few months.
  3. They announced last week that the Bengals game was the final Q&A of the year...
  4. Does that assessment include his position coach? TSW seems to be giving a big pass to he-who-speaks-softly, IMO....
  5. That sounds a lot like the Bills' 2004 season.
  6. If that's the plan, then he better not try to do the job from Florida...
  7. The funny thing to me is that Gibbs seems to get less coverage than Greggie. I don't get it.
  8. After today, he does. But we have enough misery to keep us occupied without having to think about the Fins...
  9. This is a troll free zone...please let us flagilate in peace.
  10. I wonder if Burris might have been told beforehand that this was his last game on the announcing team? Seems pretty out of the blue, otherwise.
  11. I thought Felser's point that Modrak has never lived in Buffalo during any part of his tenure with the Bills was interesting. Sounds like a part-time (half assed?) job to me. As Marv used to say, the moment you think about retiring.....
  12. Totally disagree. TD will be the classiest guy in town that day. He'll be thanking everyone and laying the groundwork for his next NFL job...
  13. My guess is because the job was handed to the 55th player selected in the 2005 NFL draft...
  14. Gotta love MB posters.... "LaDainian Tomlinson said he played the last 4 1/2 games with a cracked rib that made it tough to breathe every time he got hit. "
  15. Sure it is. Benny Anderson can't move out of his own shadow and for all his good potential, Peters doesn't run block nearly as effectively as he pass blocks. The lack of any push in short yardage last week was embarassing for an NFL line. IMO, this group is much less effective run blocking than any in the TD era. And the lack of a credible passing game makes that weakness even more glaring.
  16. And who said optimism was dead on this board!
  17. He's getting a little long in the tooth to be called a rookie. And while the lack of playing time was clearly evident in his timing and decision making, there weren't many positives from a physical standpoint, which has to be a bit troubling for SD. His arm looked a bit suspect (as per his draft bio) and he moved around like a young Drew Bledsoe. What I was looking for was the physical tools to suggest he'll grow into being an effective stater (just like with JP). From here, it looked like Rivers still has a lot of bridges to cross....
  18. He seems slow-footed to me, but maybe it's the beautiful Southern Cal weather to blame for that...
