  1. That is all!...................except for......PLAYOFFS!!!!!
  2. Thompson may have been a street free agent, but at present, he is our most productive WR in terms of receptions, yards, and yards per catch. After 10 games/6 starts. Heck, with a big game, he could even eclipse McCoy and Clay in receiving yards for the year. How does this even happen?
  3. So the consensus is that the Tyrod era is over. What do you think will happen to him.
  4. Nothing specific, but I liked beer and booze back in the day lots more than I do now and am confident I said some pretty inappropriate things. Maybe even smacked a butt or two. Not at work though. 2002 me would not even recognize 2017 me. Married? Two Kids? 15 years ago those were alien concepts.
  5. Good point on the statute of limitations. I would hate to get called on the carpet for something I did 10-15 years ago. People change.
  6. I am a "Tyrod Fanboy". I am realistic though. This is the end of his career in Buffalo.
  7. I have a been a pretty staunch Tyrod supporter, but this loss coupled with this injury make it the end of the line for him. It gives the coaches and management an easy answer regarding the QB decision for the rest of the year: "Taylor is not 100%, so are going with Peterman." Won't matter if Taylor is 0% or 99.9%, they have talking points to move on from him. Ready to see what Peterman can do with a full week of snaps in practice.
  8. I'm a fan. While not a "franchise" QB, he goes out every week and gives it has everything he has, warts and all. He plays the cards he has been dealt to the best of his ability and has shown loyalty to the Bills organization without getting the same in return. He is liked and respected by his teammates. Fact: EVERY QB we have plugged in since the end of the Kelly era has been flawed in some way, but in my opinion, he is giving Flutie a run for his money as the best of the bunch, which is ironic because Flutie was also the target of so much derision and flat out hatred.
  9. Ok, not predicting a win this time-----but it is a divisional game, at home. NE's win streak has to end sometime this season, right? Why not the Bills?
  10. No worries JMF2006, I was referencing this gem of a post.
  11. For the record, "far right wing" is a freakin' figure of speech. I could have just as easily gone with "far left wing" or "extremist" or whatever. I'm about as political as tube of toothpaste. Way to read into things, though.
  12. So, just looking at the gameday thread, Tyrod's WORST (UNFORGIVABLE) play was a 14 yard COMPLETION. On the ROAD when the Bills were a significant UNDERDOG. Tyrod played solid, mostly mistake free football. He made some nice passes and some plays with his legs where it counted. Not perfect, but rock solid. Amazed at how far the far-right wing of the Anti-Tyrod movement will reach to find fault. Unreal. Barring a deep run into the playoffs, and maybe even with that, Tyrod is gone next year, but he's the best we have had in a long time. Hopefully our pick will pan and out we get our franchise QB. But in the meantime, give the guy some credit.
  13. With Dennison on the ropes, this week's offense will be more "taylored" to Tyrod's strengths and he will come up big. Also, I think you will see the rest of the offense stepping it up to support their captain. KC has struggled mightily of late. Very beatable. Defense has me worried, but I think this is an offence they can manage. Predicting a convincing win.
  14. I called the QB decision this past week an unmitigated disaster. I stand by that. The Peterman experiment should be over. Tyrod would have come into this game with something to prove and likely would have pulled out the win. Hoping now that his benching has given him the motivation to play with heat to the end of this season to end his tenure with the Bills.
  15. New NFL record for Peterman. Most 1st half INTs. Pull the plug, this one is DOA.
  16. Going into this game, I predicted that the switch would be an unmitigated disaster. And hoped I would be wrong. I very very rarely post, but dang, I hate being right.
  17. I expect an unmitigated disaster. Waaaay overhyped for a 5th round pick. Facing preseason defenses is nowhere near facing D's in midseason form. Hope I'm wrong though.
  18. Remember Eric Moulds in his first two seasons? Was looking like a colossal bust. Patience.
  19. I'm referencing "McDermott: Not enough 'Very Very Good' days from Taylor. If you actually read the article, this is essentially misleading clickbait, and it's very intentional clickbait. "Very very good" is taken out of context to slant the article. Look at how the quotes are arranged in the headline. Notice that only "Very Very Good" is in quotes? Actual McDermott quote directly referencing Taylor: "Tyrod's had some what I would determine to be very, very good days and what I call playoff caliber moments." And now the "Not enough" part. It's actually referencing the team as a whole: "I don't think we've had enough as a team as that goes." I'm not taking sides on the Taylor debate, I'm just annoyed with the misleading headline and the angle it takes.
  20. Looks like all of the Buffalo News Bills articles are off the table for out of towners like me. $3 a month may not be much, but for me it's better spend elsewhere.
  21. Reilly will get his chance somewhere, hopefully with the Bills. The only thing that would really get me steamed is if he ends up with the Patriots.
  22. Any speed WRs likely to get cut that we could bring in? I like the trades but recognize we could really use a deep threat. Who could we grab?
