No, I understand what your thoughts are. I get you don’t want to gameplan around a couple of PS guys. I agree to a point. Feel they should see what the guys can do, especially Virgil as he is now subject to waivers if he is to be demoted to PS again (I believe he is as he was signed to the active roster). Need to see what he brings to the team.

Gotta treat them as if they are part of the offense. And honestly, why not target them? Samuel has done nothing so see what you have in the PS guys in a live game.

Gotta target them some. Gotta keep the defense honest. I want a great run game and not need the passing game too much today. To get there, gotta be able to threaten the pass and can’t just target Shakir and Kincaid. If Samuel is available, doesn’t really matter.

Their D does worry me a bit.

Nothing set yet, but I feel they may sit him against an “inferior” team. Get him healthy for the stretch. Concerns me if they don’t. Had a problem early on getting receivers open last week with Coleman on the field.

I said yes in the preseason. Unless there is a complete breakdown with the guys we have, or worse, he’s not coming back. Would have liked the locker room presence. Don’t think he’d start and not sure he’d want to on the bench.

Hopefully Cooper is ready to go this weekend.

That’s what I find interesting when people want a player in Buffalo. Dude may be great with the team he is with, but may not fit our scheme. Or our locker room for that matter. Can’t say I know who is or isn’t a fit. 7-2 I’m not a scheme guy, but clearly they were playing the pass against the ‘phins more than the run. Close, but we won.

Players seem to do well on our scheme. Shaq was very good, left and was terrible and did well back with us. I’d say the same for Phillips. Hope he can give us something. No problem with this as a stopgap until we are healthier.

No injury updates yet. Sal offered nothing on WGR this morning. He did mention Coleman was in a splint. Just my opinion, it could either be a fracture, hairline fracture or sprain. Splint would be for a sprain for sure. Splint for fracture until follow up imaging to determine actual injury. If it were a break he’d probably be in surgery depending on how bad, or hospital to set the fracture. Just my opinion and it could be a bad injury. The way he moved it after the hit, I don’t think it’s a break.
