  1. No trading for the next 4 picks, especially for QB. Pats, Phins, Jets and Vikes (assuming they want QB).
  2. If we didn't need a tackle or possibly a QB.
  3. Thanks. I'm enjoying listening to them. Forgot how much I like Riter Radio.
  4. How about the McGahee staged call from Rosenhaus? That was lame.
  5. Oh, I believe they will spend LOTS of time on our first pick, especially when it's Tim Tebow!
  6. Jim Clausen - Browns Tim Tebow - Vikings Eric Berry - KC CJ Spiller - 49ers Dez Bryant - Broncos
  7. Put the pipe down and walk away...
  8. I really believe that Clausen will be gone before the Bills pick at #9. Either Cleveland takes him, he ends up with Oakland or another team trades up to get him. It's not a QB rich draft and he'll end up filling a teams need rather than being best available player.
  9. So I'm assuming you think it's bunk that ML is on the trade block? When guys like Lombardi and Schefter are talking about it, I believe it. These guys have contacts probably with every NFL team. So they don't necessarily need to have insider info from the Bills, but maybe with the potential trade partner. Will he get traded? Who knows until it happens. If it doesn't happen, does that mean it never was in the works? Absolutely not. I'm sure we would all be very surprised at the number of star players that were on the trade block who eventually were not traded. And FWIW, I have no problem with ML leaving. In fact, I'd like to see him go. DF66
  10. No. Marshall is a train wreck waiting to happen. At least with Owens he was looking past last year and on his best behavior. Marshall is just a punk.
  11. I thought maybe Cleveland would take a chance on Clausen, then realized they picked up Seneca Wallace this offseason, a guy who played under Holmgren in Seattle. That pick up kinda reminded me of how he went and got Hasselbeck from Green Bay, makes me think he is the eventual starter. As for the Delhome pickup, Holmgren is a QB guru, and probably believes he can resurrect him for a few years maybe...which actually may contradict what I thought about Wallace. As for the Raiders. I absolutely believe they pick Clausen if he is still available. I believe Russell may have played his last game as a Raider if they land another QB.
  12. Even if Buddy offered two first rounders, we would not have landed him. He obviously wants to stick it to the Eagles twice a year, don't blame him. I was on the fence about him anyway. The nice thing about landing him would have been to take the pressure off needing a QB in this years draft, but would have transferred to next year.
  13. Won't last that long. With him being publicly courted by the Bills, another team may jump ahead of our 2nd round pick and snag him. Happens all the time. I believe Tebow is just a smoke screen. They really covet another player, or two, and are using him to throw other teams off the scent.
  14. Sat in the JK clubs awhile back. Definitely more subdued. People were pretty nice, but felt disconnected from the game. Not rowdy enough Got into the bar area a few times also and that is were the fun is. Awesome bar, games on all the TV's and nice and warm.
  15. Hopefully it's back loaded with very little up front. Not feeling it with this signing after reading what some Raiders fans had to say about him on PFT: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ackle/#comments Hope he's a respectable backup at the very least. Don't really care if he was a starter in Oakland for a few years or not, doesn't mean he's any good.
  16. It's the KC thing again. Wow. Usually teams pick coaches and talent from WINNING teams.....
  17. Surprised about Incognito. Seemed like a no brainer. I would have tendered him just for depth purposes. I wonder if the FO at OBD knows they can get some specific guys. I hope so.
  18. Not a problem with any of these cuts. You know these cuts were made with who may be able to replace them in mind. I'm sure the Bills have their eyes on some bottom tier UFA's who can help on ST. Probably guys they are familiar with. Anyway, I like the idea they already rid themselves of these guys. Not that it sets a "tone" for the new regime, but it's gotta make some of the guys think about their jobs.
  19. TJ offers much more insight to the pregame and post game shows than Berman. He offers his honest opinion, without all the fluff. Berman is stuck in his "Back, back, back" days and would hardly be missed by me if he left. ESPN is a machine and wouldn't miss a step if he left, how valuable is he?
  20. No big deal. Berman is a shell of his former self. NFL Primetime is a good wrap show, but it's all about Tom Jackson anyway. I'm all about continuity, but could care less if he ends up elsewhere.
  21. I'm not so sure I want McNabb, or Vick for that matter. Think McNabb is on the downside of his career. That being said, what other options do we have for immediate improvement at the QB position? Nothing available in FA right now, draft pick won't be impact player, and our QB's are suspect. I would give no more than a 3rd round pick for Mcnabb, or a much later pick for Vick using our 1st or 2nd round pick onthe "QB of the future". I just hate the fact it might turn into a bidding war and we end up giving up a higher round pick than he's worth.
  22. Great, which thread do I post in??
  23. The hard part is over, but a long road is ahead of you. It sounds like you have quite the lady to help you! Congrats on getting better!
  24. 2010 Draft dates/times 1st round Aprill 22 7:30 pm 2nd and 3rd rounds April 23 6:30 pm 4th - 7th rounds April 24th 10:00 am http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true
  25. You can cook the books however you want to. It has to paid for somehow. No matter if it a traceable increase in taxes labeled "War tax", or just another generic tax without any specific destination, we are paying for it. The Gov. can also introduce spending cuts, such as social programs, that could help fund the war. But these programs would likely be picked up by State, or local Gov. with an increase in those taxes. Oh, and there is another thing called the National Debt. It's been spiraling out of control as of late, and to pay it off, yep, raise in taxes. Now, if only the Gov could somehow profit off the oil business....
