First time buying a jersey. No idea on size so I went a size up to fit over shirt layers when it turns colder. I got the more expensive one on Fanatics b/c I like the stitching (thanks PTR!). BTW the Patriots rivalry jersey looks like s..t.

I purchased a Starlink mini and used it for the first time at the San Fran game last year. I got the idea after reading some college fan postings at Alabama, FSU, and Texas where the tailgating overloads cell service too. Easy to set up and worked great (very little buffering) during that window, cloudy, snowy, icy mess during the day tailgate at Hammer’s. It was like I had my own personal internet service and my group all hooked into it on their phones as well as the tv I brought up. Connected to my Sunday Ticket on YouTube tv and it worked great. $50 a month for the Starlink Sat service and you can also pause your monthly subscription for a fee of $5 a month when you aren’t using it. Highly recommend!

I have a bad feeling about the game but I always have a bad feeling so that means Bills will probably win. Lol Still though this feels like the game that Bills played against the Rams a couple years back. Bills came in with retribution in their mind after being bounced in the 13 second game and kicked the Ram’s a@@. Hope we hold at home and get a win! Last home opener at highmark so good vibes from all fans and players from such a “rich” history (pun intended).

There is something about this story that really struck a nerve. I’ve been a member of this Board since 2005 (I think even before that in the earliest versions of this board) and I think this is only the second topic that I started (sorry all- I first posted this to the Stadium Wall and not this one so thanks Mods!). The thing that gets me is how callous McAfee and his bros were and how it wasn’t at all a sports topic. I am a lawyer and I don’t know how this will all play out, but I’m glad the young woman and her family are fighting back. I don’t think they are opportunistic btw. They want accountability and I fully support that. Can’t imagine how I would feel if I was her father. Hell McAfee is a father now to a baby girl- maybe he’ll grow up and want to be more responsible but I doubt it. His $85M gig is a lot.

Went to the Nov 1981 game against the Patriots with my brother and my dad. I was 11. Freezing cold/rainy sleet and I think I left part of my 11 year old butt cheek frosted to the metal bleacher in the end zone where it is probably still to this day. We gave up just before the final drive (just too cold and they were losing), were making our way out of the stadium, and then ran back in with a bunch of others just in time to see the Hail Mary at the end. The fandemonium game and the goal posts after. Camping out for playoff seats in 1988 and going to that Bills/Oilers game (the first one, not the comeback game). 80,000 pompoms. And seeing The Who there in 1989 with my high school buddies just before going off to college. Winter Classic. Couldn’t see much but it was classic/awesome! I’ll be sad to see the ol’ girl go. So many memories

Born September 1970 and parents had me in a little Bills outfit. 6 days later Bills lost their first NFL game and started their first 4 game losing streak. Then the 4 Super Bowl losses. Then the 4 Chiefs Playoff losses. So it’s all my fault guys. Good thing we’ll beat them next year when we meet for the 5th contest!

Totally understand what you are saying Einstein. I recall a similar debate back in the day when the bills lost its last Super Bowl and after the Sabres lost the Stanley Cup and screwed the pooch the next few years in the playoffs. At the time I thought the same way. But then the drought happened (sabres drought still happening of course) and I think that pain was/is much worse than the familiar feeling I am having now (I’m feeling like a horse’s a@@ for believing that we were gonna win).

Thankfully the 48 years of heartbreak had prepared me for this. Shame on me for thinking this year would be different. It was a great and unexpected season. It’s the same old story but I’m grateful to have spent it on this board (thank you all!) and attending that crazy 49’ers game this year. I’d love to say that I’m done with the team and am moving on but that would be a lie- I can’t see myself rooting for any other. I’m not going to say better luck next year, too fed up and that crap gets old, so all I’ll say is… see you at the draft and looking forward to the opener.

I’m going to need some serious rehab after this game- win or lose.
