  1. Such is life. Actions have consequences.
  2. Rudy is a national treasure and should be treated as such by you libs. Just bow your head slightly if paying homage will upset your angsty pencil-necked friends. No one will notice your respect for the man who allowed NYers to make their own soda choices before Bloomy and DiBlasio sent the storm troopers to confiscate the big gulp cups. Admit it, even you respect Rudy for his leadership when it mattered most.
  3. As a father, I think it's hard to be objective when analyzing things that happen to your children. It's all way too personal. If I was Zay, I'd be telling Pops to keep his thoughts private. There is literally no upside to trashing the players that Zay shared a uniform with. There might be exceptions where it's a push, Geno Smith broken jaw with IK, maybe.
  4. The Bills hung in there with him when he thought he was Keith Moon after a gig in '67. They took a shot, and I'm quite certain if Zay blossomed into a very solid #2 he would not have been traded. The comments about the evolving QB situation in WNY is fair game for analysts, scouts and GMs. Personally, I'm not all that interested in the musings of the father of an NFL player on politics, the best places for Italian food, or his adult son's career. No hard feelings, Zay is gone, and that's that. Cool levitation trick though.
  5. I admire your commitment to you dad, Poland and the Bills. Related: I think it’s probably rare for the 93 year old to be telling his posse: “We were going to go in June, but my kid fell off his board trying to land a layback grind.”. Best of luck on your health, and have a great trip!
  6. jg text at o440: ima swing by dunkin watcha all wan? Then, the purge.
  7. Hurtful, and truth be told I still dont understand it. Gross. Bad man, you're a bad, bad man. I figured I'd be called out on the objectification of the super model. I was prepared for that. I was willing to own that. But this? Outrageous!
  8. I hope to be under a super model, so I'm thinking I won't be thinking.
  9. Well, maybe he’s not even that. Maybe he doesn’t care, given the $87m. I’m not even sure I’d go with my first thought from back when he was with the Bills, which is ‘self-destructive’. Apathetic, maybe. I can’t ever wrap my head around a guy who just says “screw it” to simple things like “stay away from weed”. A guy with a CDL can find a way to avoid a speeding ticket, something the average guy ‘risks’ every day. I think he he just doesn’t really care one way or the other.
  10. Upon reflection, after reliving yet another pats game where odd sh#t happened (picked up NE flag in a 4 offensive holding day for the Bills, missed review on the int, the no-fine textbook head shot on JA), coupled with my general disdain for NE, I hope AB goes balls deep and gets the $400 m. In fact, throw him some punitive damages. Today is is my day of rage.
  11. 1. A QB with a 65% completion ratio 'misses' 35% of the time? 2. What QB doesn't throw "picks"? 3. He's a young QB and he makes mistakes? 4. He had a horrible game yet the Bills were in it until the end? 5. It's ugly to watch some times, but the guy will bleed for you and I stand with JA. I say...#5. Wait, all of the above. All of the above. In spite of the challenges, I've had more fun watching the Bills play these last dozen or so games than I have had in years.
  12. If Alyssa Milano is going to be topless I'm all in. Rosie not so much.
  13. He might be. So, your premise is it wasn't problem before Trump, making it an obvious political hit job because it's Trump?
  14. Rarely is anything about the political climate about one moment in time. I understand why you want it to be, but that does not make it so. Besides, my commentary was about your description of politically motivated activity being characterized as "horrific" when any rudimentary review of the history of Ameican politics would suggest it's just another day in Washington. In every dojo, there comes a time when Senshi tries to brush his teeth with the katana. Consider.
  15. “Horrific”? The opposition leads off with “he’s a racist”, followed by “he’s hates women, Islam, Latinos and he’s a treasonous bastard who should be jailed for life, and he’s a baby-cager”, launched an all-out assault lead by top ranking members of the IC and spending $30m to slather him in slime. The opposition attempted the wholesale disenfranchisement of 60m voters while a large majority of the other 60m sat by and watched because their gal got hammered (but was voted prom queen in the pop-pop-popular vote) because while suppressing some votes is criminal but suppressing a v4four5 is perfectly acceptable. They also launched a public disembowelment campaign against a respected jurist with a spotless record with the singular goal to destroy his life in front of the world and his family simply because Trump nominated him for the SC. Meanwhile, ya boi Biden is jammin his sharp elbows into the ribs of the Ukes, demanding they capitulate to the wishes of the US Government Biden Family and ya boi Obama is knuckles deep in unmasking, illegal surveillance, sending the ayatollahs lotsa cashola and lots of other dirty tricks. But, yeah, Trump invented horrific. And I’ll tell you something else, and it’s gonna hurt. Your kid, Quincy, he was a total dullard. Looked like a really ladyboy in that powdered wig. Made Hunter Biden look like the CEO of a Balkan Energy Conglomerate.
  16. No ketchup on your burger?! Maybe you should just return to the Fatherland where you get your ketchupless hamburger because the worker fears being hauled off go the gulag, eh komrade?
  17. Tell me you hit that. Please, just tell me you got the choreographer.
  18. I was just laughing about that. Oh, and following the model my next text will be "I wasn't just laughing about that."
  19. Nice try with your neurons and resorbtions and oxygen content. You didn’t mention anything about a bell getting rung, sawbones. What’s your name Pretond Uradoc, MD? (Thanks for the scoop-my son was concussed in HS, scary time.)
  20. He gets a pass for making a call on a penalty on something he clearly could not see because it never occurred? In other words, he made it up? Geesh that’s the type of activity that would have me wondering if Vegas really was controlling the game.
  21. Lets just agree it has happened 6 times over your four decades, 3 were in college games, 2 occurred in the pros and #6 was yesterday. Everyone wins, mostly me because I'm working myself into a frenzy and Dave, you're slowing me the %$#@ down!
  22. I never said it was unheard of, I understand it's not a "free play", I just don't see it as a common outcome. Or a regular outcome of that play. You said you've seen it a number of times, I just wondered how often you have seen it? Once a weekend for 10 years? 40 times over the course of the year? Once every 2 years? Doesn't really matter anyway, but I try to learn after the emotion of the game has settled.
  23. Of course. It would be egregious to deliver a helmet to helmet hit, to throw a chop block, or rough the passer simply because the player was offside. Just using common sense, I'd assume holding occurs with some regularity in those situations, and I think it's an uncommon result to that sort of play. Dave McBride has seen it with some regularity, so be it. Simply making a point, but some view the officials as having run an A+ game. I do not. Is the number 3 over the years, or 56? The holding call variety.
  24. Another overly complex rule that is far too subjective. Ref throws a flag, ref saw something that was a penalty. Conference ensues, we can only presume a debate about the catchability of the ball ensues where the officials considere the trajectory of the ball and speed/lack thereof of receiver, with each official with a diff vantage point. The only thing that was certain was the flag was thrown after the receiver was grabbed. Now, if you want to review these plays with the video footage and determine a catchable ball of not, well that's alway an option. On this officiating note, btw, I cannot recall a time when an obv Offside was offset by a holding call. Does the lineman surrender the pass rush and allow the QB to be hit given that the defensive player got a major jump on the ball?
