  1. As to the bolded, you’re simply, officially, irrefutably wrong. Whether it makes you feel better to summon righteous indignation at the comment made, I cannot say, but what he said neither reflects a claim of wrongdoing nor an admission of guilt. It simply reflects the experiences of Trump, and I’d gather many, many thousands of wealthy men—politicians, rock stars, athletes movie stars, a movie mogul or two, and though I cannot attest to this personally, probably more than a fair share of men who happen to be substantially better looking than the rest. For all I know, you might be one, though you’re probably blowing the gift God himself bestowed on you by walking around talking about your feelings sporting a man-bun and wearing a faded poncho made of organic hemp and broken down sandals covering feet caked in dirt after attending the most recent Phish concert. Where was I? Again, I never underestimate the enemy, and I agree that the scores of disciples of Obama still worship at what he refers to as the “Altar of How Great I Art”. I already outlined the voting habits of folks as I see them, and have no doubt many Obamaniacs would gladly go back in time to a colorless world of despair where we were constantly told things could not be accomplished, that it was too hard, too tough, that we all had to prepare for the USA to take its rightful place in the middle of the pack, and sit idly by while our $$$$ went global, where terrorist nations get the benjamins and the American tax payer got the bill for it. I know the common sentiment is that Barry proclaimed that it would take a full 10 years and 4 months for his recovery to begin, but you’ve been duped sir. Barry O tossed a salad for Clinton. Question, how did that go? How well did the anointing by The One work in 2016? Her biggest issue was she fall down/go boom, and she coughed a lot. That’s not Biden’s issue, his is that when he falls down, he gets up talking about a conversation he had with long dead leaders of China. When he coughs, he blows out his retina. As for 2016 pro-Trump voters fleeing to vote for Soft Hands Joe, sure, I’m sure that you believe that’s a thing. It is perfectly logical that folks who voted for a less tyrannical govt, freedom to keep more of the money they earn, a sense of optimism for the country, sensible border security, a return to conservative control of the SC and lower level courts, who watched the Russian experiment fail while gumming up 3/4 of his admin, the attempted Kavanaugh character assasination and all the like are running alongside you to vote for a twice-trounced candidate who frequently tries to butter his toast with the car keys, which, btw he thinks are to his 1957 Chevy. Your people can win, of course they can. But the game hasn’t even started for Joe, and he looks baaaaaad.
  2. I never underestimate the ability of some people to vote as follows: 1. They will vote for a candidate/platform that confiscates assets from the middle class and beyond because the rewards to them are sustaintial. Since they can be given ×××, there is no need to work to earn xxx because it can be taken from another person. 2. They will vote for as much free $#!# as possible; 3. They will vote against their own best interests due to failure to recognize the ramifications of their actions, out of some perverse self-loathing or guilt about their own station in life. 4. They will pursue a platform that appeals to them on some level of righteousness while failing to acknowledge the incredible hypocrisy of their vote given their own lifestyle choices; As a result, I believe it is entirely possible that voters will come out to vote against Trump as you have indicated. That said, Biden and Sanders have been battling back and forth in what is akin to towel snapping each other in the hs after 10th grade gym class. The game changes when the nominee is chosen, and we move to the death match phase. Despite your protestations, Joe Biden is lugging around a whole bowl of cream o' wheat in the cavity that used to hold brain matter. He stutters, falters, loses his place, forgets where he is, mutters things like "dog faced pony soldier" and often speaks like a British lefttenant lobbing insults at the Gerrys up the hill in WW2. This is all occurring during what amounts to the warm up for the event that follows, and that event is a 50 mile race through the desert on a tricycle. I don't criticize these people for miscues regardless of party, but Joe appears ravaged by the effects of aging and it seems to get worse by the week. Sanders...well, the people lost their collective minds over things like Trump's "grab em" and the whispers of innuendo that Trump was a Russian operative, but that will pale in comparison to Sanders=Russia=Venezula=Cuba and literally IS a komrade from the old country and has been for decades. With luck, the Durham report comes out and a few Obama and Biden cronies heads roll, but if not, Trump will push forward anyways. I'm always cautious, had planned for a Cankles presidency and simply feel that when the ***** hits the fan for 2020, it'll be a scorched earth election. To be honest, it is. I see no moderate dem candidates in the race, and to be fair, if you consider yourself a moderate while opting to vote for Sanders if it plays out that way....no middle ground exists to be found anyway.
  3. I saw the clip, he actually mentioned how wealthy he is, and why he then spends his own money for protection, like in some way he should be praised for it. Was it a deep fake? As for the point on being famous...I don't follow your point. Should celebrities be granted special rights as they relate to firearms that regular working folks do not?
  4. Dear Transplant, Don't believe what those mean internet boys are telling you. We never lied to you, the popular vote thing confused us. Oh, and never shake Pee Wee Herman's hand if you see him after a movie. Trust us---it has nothing to do with the Corona virus. Signed, The 2016 Pollsters
  5. In the lead up to 2016 I'd watch Kornacki do his political analysis on NBC. He has, or had, this sort of awww shucks way about him and this odd habit of delivering his message point that "Trump can't win" and then hooking his thumb into the side of his dockers and nodding like a simpleton while the others on set acknowledged him for his clairvoyance. He was 100% wrong, of course, but that's TV for you.
  6. The Germans have a pretty good track record though, so there’s that.
  7. Ah, I see the confusion. You indicated you liked him even more because he dropped out, and as a conservative, I personally hope he drops out again in 2024 making you really really like him more, and so on. Second paragraph moved past that to PB and his future. Personally, I think he’s a pretty boring dude, but IF he’s to be successful in the future, he’s got to work on his charisma and find a way to appeal to black voters and a wider base of voters. If he can do that, and if he moves to the center to appeal to independents, he seems like a nice enough guy to draw in some voters and have a shot at it. As for his resume, it’s obviously pretty flimsy, which is problematic in general (unless you’re the heir apparent to the dems) and what’s on there now is decidedly unappealing to minority voters according to minority voters. so, to summarize: 1. Be less boring, like a LOT less boring (Get a tat, maybe play Mott the Hoople at campaign rallies?); 2. Gain experience beyond being assistant to the associate Tax Collector in Muncie, Indiana; 3. Find a way to be viewed as less of a bigot to minority communities; 4. Move to the middle; 5. Be less boring;
  8. I’ll allow weird, but what’s contradictory about it?
  9. Well, with luck you’ll really really like him when he drops out in 2024, really really really like him when he drops out in 2028, and so on, and so on. I watched some of his speeches and to me, it’s like watching chalk dry. He seems nice enough, honestly, and if he improves his resume, moves to the middle and finds a way to appeal to minorities, who knows.
  10. I wish I had a punchable face that would land me $25m. Mine is good for a couple hot dogs from Ted's and a medium Loganberry at best.
  11. When everyone is a bot, no one is really a bot. Geezer alert!! Geezer alert!!
  12. But certainly you would acknowledge those that have died since 2016 are much, much deader than those who died before?
  13. This is the starting point? Off the top of my head, there were 5 different brands of personal-use water bottles in the store today, plastic bottles with plastic caps and plastic labels, with plastic sign holders to tell me how much each plastic shrink-wrapped crate of 24 would cost. There was an extensive offering of non-water-flavored water as well. How impactful would a ban on plastic water bottles in NYS be in 2020? Between manufacture, shipping, recycling and repeating the cycle over and over the impact on the environment is staggering and dare I say, meaningful. Would anyone really be harmed if a meaningful ban like that was implemented? Would life be altered in any negative way? By the way, I don’t know anyone who thinks it’s the end of the world, quite the opposite. They see it a largely hollow and silly political stunt.
  14. Bias is a natural part of life, it just is the way it is. If she was a Hospice nurse caring for an aging and sick loved one, showed compassion and grace in doing so, she would be perceived differently even with her boyish figure and voice that feels like a woodworker's chisel is being jammed into your brain stem. Some people won't vote for trump because hes from NYC, some didnt vote for BO because of his heritage, and some would pass on Mike B because he's not unshort. Besides, she has used the perception of bias (real or imagined) as a hammer for her entire political career, often bringing her great success. Sometimes she's bound to be on the wrong side of it.
  15. Also, those weed-smokin hippies with their fancy non-plastic dog poop picker uppers represent a population nearly 7x larger than where I live in Albany, NY. That makes 'em 7x more pollutey than we are, and I don't feel the need to have to establish a logistics operation to ferry my items to my largely-plastic vehicle in 3 item shifts, with one party left at the counter to safeguard that which is temporarily left behind. Don't even get me started on the massive carbon footprint of having a sports franchise like the Portland Trail Blazers. Get rid of them, save the planet and give me my plastic bags back.
  16. I'm standing in line at a Walmart, among the aisles and aisle and aisles of plastic...plastic bottles plastic jugs plastic wrappers plastic water bottles plastic sleeves over plastic goods...all loaded into a shopping cart with plastic bumpers and plastic advertising sleeves... thinking that had this ban never be implemented, life would have gone on as well. Agreed, amazing.
  17. tibs is a war monger and clearly a major player in the military industrial complex. He also prefers a Holiday Inn Express over a stay Mar-A-Lago, mostly because he likes making his own waffles at breakfast.
  18. Completely understandable. When I was a younger man, many woman stopped me from moving where I wanted to go, and I always considered myself arrested. I guess in retrospect, I wasn't arrested arrested, I was stopped. The good news is that while these really nice young ladies stopped me from moving where I personally wanted to go, some really nice friendships bloomed.
  19. i remember this guy. bit of an edge, willing to say the hard things that needed to be said. nice.
  20. Pursuing litigation seems not at all unAmerican, not sure why anyone would have an issue with an aggrieved party (from his perspective) seeking their day in court. If it’s frivolous it will be tossed.
  21. Hmmmm...Son 30+...Hubby presumed to like Disney+...Are you, or have you ever been, accused and/or been described as, a “cougar”? I’d like to insert a cool new @Foxx animated emoji but lack the talent and hipsterness to do so this will have to do. ?
  22. I think you play the game the way the game is played if for no other reason than your opponent will play as such. Sanders would cut the throat of anyone close to one of his opponents and leave them bleeding in the shadows to improve his standing, it just is what it is. The house issue is fair game. $500,000+ cash would pay for a lot of late term abortions for his constituents. The rape story is what it is, and up to the voter to decide as to whether or not it's relevant to them in 2020.
  23. Well, in the context of Sanders using a complex legal tactic to protect himself from personal liability, to avoid the unfortunate consequences of punitive taxation, and to allow his heirs the benefit of skirting financial obligations while allowing them to keep the roughly 600 feet of prime lake front, it’s something that rightly should be addressed. Hard core leftists will indeed flock to follow him, every cult needs a messiah figure regardless of his own personal fiscal fetishes. The goal is simply to cut him down, piece by piece, to expose him as the hypocrite that he is, and to associate him with the vision that the USA can look like Cuba and Venezuela if you you just rally behind Sanders. In fact, one must wonder if these mega-wealthy individuals weren’t working so damn hard to avoid paying taxes and shielding assets from Medicare to begin with, if the Medicare crisis would be a crisis to begin with. Socialism is profoundly lucrative for the few.
