  1. I'm listening to today's proceedings, and this thing is a slaughter. A straight slaughter. I'll be surprised if there's a conviction, but the managers are creaming the Trump and his senatorial followers in the court of public opinion.
  2. Tell that to the family of the officer who was killed. I suspect their view is a bit different from yours. Then again, HCQ can increase the risk of dementia, so maybe that explains your forgetfulness as to the violence of the mob that overran the Capitol.
  3. The guy who's arguing now is another link in the clown chain. Whining about inability to investigate. But no specifics as to how the investigation was hampered. Blah blah blah. I don't miss the Trump clown show at all.
  4. Unfortunately the MyPillow guy gets more run than me. I'm not sure if that says something about Newsmax, the MyPillow guy, or me. Maybe all of us.
  5. OMG these guys are awful. I'm listening to it. Droning on and on. No point to the arguments. Then we flip to this clown who plays the victim card. And no defense on the merits - jurisdiction, victimization, politics, cancellation, etc. What a joke. Trump could stand up and say this is wrong. He could apologize. But he won't. Because he's a wimp. And guilty.
  6. Smaller TV markets, general fatigue, Brady fatigue, and a very, very unlikable Chiefs team. Mahomes is OK, but Kelce is annoying, Jones plays like a d-bag, Reid apparently lets d-bags run amok there, and Hill is beyond a d-bag.
  7. Whatever it is that you tried to say was presented through gibberish. I don't pretend to understand gibberish. If you can articulate your thoughts clearly, then we can have a conversation.
  8. Are you talking about the guy who killed the Capitol Police officer? Probably not. I wonder if Trump has called the family of that hero. Probably not there, too. Too busy brushing his teeth with HCQ, trying to harness the magic necessary to make COVID-19 disappear, and lamenting the power of the "fake news media." I gotta be honest. I kinda miss hearing from the guy every day. Each time I think I'm too inferior or stupid to do anything with my life, I could point to him and say if his tiny baby hands, limited intellect, and bloviation can get somewhere, then I can too. Kind of ironic that Antifa is a hoax and Trump Terror is a real thing. Sad and disgraceful, too.
  9. Cool story bro. I checked. No democrat run cities in flames right recently. Unless we count DC. And we all know who started that one. Enjoy your fantasy land. How come he's not on Newsmax these days? The MyPillow guy got his tongue? I don't really like cancel culture - everyone makes mistakes. But some are unforgivable. I will joyfully cancel each and every d-bag who participated in the Capitol uprising.
  10. I'd like to substantively respond, but this post is gibberish. I don't have the ability to meaningfully respond to such things.
  11. Curious if you agree with this. I watched the game with my kids (very small and very distracting), so maybe I'm off here. But I though TB's safeties were diagnosing quickly and flying downhill. Saw it a bit from Poyer against KC, but not as much from Hyde. I thought that helped. (Of course, the big difference was a couple of game wreckers on the TB DL and linebackers that played out of their minds.) Also, looking at that heat map makes me miss Jordan Phillips. Better interior DL would have really helped us against them.
  12. This is one of the best posts that I have ever read on an Internet message board. Well done.
  13. Good to know. Agree that masks and distancing along won’t be enough. Vax, therapeutics, effective and cheap rapid testing and common sense behavior (moving to Zoom, limiting tube commutes, etc.) all are key.
  14. I didn’t see a complaint there. Only an observation. Turns out you’re as bad with diction as you are with treatments for infectious disease. Sad.
  15. There’s truth to this. In NYS, the defense was absolutely appropriate at the outset of the pandemic. Now, defense is still warranted, but maybe in a more surgical or thoughtful fashion. The recent NYSSCT cases in Erie County illustrate as much; the science behind some of the closure policies is either lacking or non-existent. You and I part ways on the masking issue, I suspect. I think therapeutics are important to functioning in a post-COVID world (maybe you heard CNBC this morning; issue came up). But I firmly believe distancing and masking are essential until we get closer to critical mass vaccination and concomitant herd immunity.
  16. I’m not ready to put too much stock into Williams. Want to see him in a different context (i.e., against a team that hadn’t been run over and quit). But your point about non-power 5 gold is an excellent one and well taken. Back in the day I did some work with some MLB scouts in Buffalo. They had a “rule of thumb” question about pitchers: what’s the pitch that’s going to get him to the big leagues? The one really unique talent that either of our guys have is Singletary’s balance. But otherwise these guys look like they have 91 mph FBs that can’t support a change with average control and a mediocre breaking ball. Point being, they don’t have the qualities to be difference makers.
  17. I'm with you. I'd rather have an effective banger than a speed guy. I'm not sold on Moss. No pop. Maybe it was the toe injury. Hopefully he proves me wrong.
  18. A Trumper complaining about lies. Interesting.
  19. Great post. The party of Lincoln sold out and became a party of lies. MTG is applauded and Lynn Cheney is censured. Says it all. also, speaking of magical disappearances, trump is gone and we’re still dealing with this virus. So one of them magically disappeared, but the other one ... not so much.
  20. So I shouldn’t send the HCQ gummies, the Lysol, or the bleach. Got it. Kind of surprising, considering how hard you fell for the HCQ hoax. I figured you’d go with the gummies. But I guess not.
  21. Nope. It’s not the most dangerous drug ever. It’s just not an effective treatment for COVID. But some kool aid guzzling Qs still think otherwise.
  22. Lemmings. Ironic.
  23. Historically, yes. This MRNA stuff is a bit different - and pretty cool. Amazing technology.
  24. No, but I wish it was. Sun score is pretty good, but I have a very, very strange roof (the house is pretty modern) and solar is a tough install.
  25. I think that was Trump's idea, but he did it wrongly. Coal is dead. We're not making refrigerators or whatever here anymore. We're better off letting someone else do that at poverty-level wages and importing that type of consumable (crass, I know, but it's the truth). The "new" manufacturing has to be of a "green" nature. Time to reinvent and to educate so we're the world leader in that area for hundreds of years.
