  1. Check out Big Easy's thread. He's a Tulane fan and has alot of knowledge on JP. He's inviting questions and has very good insight.
  2. A taped interview with him was on a couple hours ago on Fox radio. May have been the same interview previously posted as only quips of what he said were aired and it wasn't much.
  3. Right on! Everyone supposedly 'in the know' raves about his 'special skills'. Hasn't been a two initial QB since Y.A., and most here don't know who that is. He could be very special and first of a kind.
  4. Wouldn't the Sabres actually have to MAKE the playoffs for this to happen??
  5. Based on this years rankings, our schedule for next year seems daunting. That said, I really like our chances of winning the AFC East title and playing at home in the playoffs!
  6. I'm on board with this as well. The Pats 'greatness' is their discipline and commitment. Fiedler/Feely, Pennington and Bledsoe's pocket play, played right into these strengths. Losman can and will break pocket, get outside and force the D to scramble and breakdown. Vick/Atlanta play NE next year too. Bellichek (a jike with the wrong personnel in Cleveland) is studious, but we haven't seen them be willing to drop their commitments, and this intangible may well become their undoing. Call me a 'half full glass' kind of guy, but I really think the Bills can win the Division next year!
  7. It's 10:43 a.m.. Does anyone have an update? I'm hopeful, but this is Bettman...
  8. Yesterday on ESPN they had an update. McNair had sucessful abdominal surgery and with their (Titans) new O-co-ordinator, He's feeling excited about the new season. He had been contemplating retirement as the previous OC was a screaming a-hole, so the report said. Anyway, I doubt he'll be available.
  9. If you mean 'Jefferson Street' Joe Gilliam, he's dead.
  10. Sue, I can only imagine that your devoted respect for him is based on his charitable contributions -and I don't mean interceptions! History now tells us the ONLY stupid decision TD made re: Blue Deadso was aquiring him. You're too much of a Bills fan to support a losing QB (23-25) with no playoffs, playing on a team that only needs a qb to manage the offense. It's over, and the team's fan base is rejoicing, regardless of the play of his successor!
  11. At times amusing, mostly embarassing, the Drew lovers on the wall have encouraged mean and adamant resonses from those who know better. Today at 11:00 a.m., the Bills will release UNCONDITIONALLY Drew Bledsoe. As a QB, he's terrible and that's the ONLY measure to judge him by. KEMP; FERGUSON; KELLY and NOW JP LOSMAN!! GO BILLS!!!!
  12. Ever since ole' John Y sold off the Braves, I've been as casual a fan of the NBA as any sports fanatic from 'the Buff' could be. But now that it's the ONLY thing on TV, :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: I fond myself doing yardwork, etc. Thank GOD for NFL Network!!
  13. JP, the link requires registration and blah blah. What's the jist of the article?
  14. I watched it too. NFL network shows many games in the history as well. That '74 Bills team was better than history recalls. The AFC East was very strong that year -Fish won the div, the Bills were WC for the AFC. We lost at Pittsburgh in our only Simpson era playoff game. Great to see some of those great Bills play again.
  15. No one could successfully argue this so it's a great way to end the thread.. IMO
  16. As Bills/NFL fans, I'm positive you'll enjoy it. You'll likely set it as your 'jump' channel. I do.
  17. Collectively, we've cried here over the years that we would have done a lot better -more wins- if we could have taken the ball away more. This past season, we were fantastic at this and had Special Teams scores out the wazzoo to boot.. yet STILL didn't make the playoffs! No reason to believe these gifts will continue next year -certainly not at this rate- so where will we be next January??
