  1. All over all of that! Pick up Tra Thomas, Walter Jones, or Orlando Pace Draft CJ Brooks, AND or David Baas, Elton Brown Draft Chauncey Stovall Sign Vinateri or draft Mike Nugent Ohh and a switch at another pretty important position
  2. I guess Ill hand my soapbox to you! Yes the WHOLE team sucked today. Butas a fan who desperately wants revenge for the 4 losses, I look at a team with highly paid vets who arent going to get us ANYWHERE IMO. Moulds has been our 2nd best WR for weeks now, and Drew has been FAR from good enough in BIG games. I too enjoyed the ride to have a shot at the playoffs, but I come away very bitter when we cant even beat the 3rd stringers. I expect more from this team, Im only sorry that you dont as well. The season is over for us. Its time for us to vent and start to think about what comes next. Right now Im still venting, but I watched alot of College ball this last week, and have been looking at the FA list. As throttled by this loss as I am right now, I am already looking forward to the next steps that TD is probably going to take. Bringing in a stud TE, LT, the draft. And starting JP. If he starts Drew next year I wont be happy, sorry, you can be happy if you like but I wont be! Drew has proven once and for all that he cant win big games and if he cant HE AINT NEVER TAKING US NOWHERE! Thanks but for me I am getting behind our future at QB and the hope for YET ANOTHER new start at QB. Maybe this time we got it right, maybe, time will tell...lets start that clock NOW!
  3. Somewhere out there, there is a little boy with something much more intelligent to say than you stuck without a voice. You are a waste of a post! No need to reply, It wont be read!
  4. HMMM Lets me see, the Steelers have: Great coach Great D Great O-line Great RB Good/Great supporting WR Decent TE Rookie QB The Bills WITHOUT DREW have: Good/Great coach Great D Good o-line that has played great in several games Good/Great WR's Great RB Decent TE (not yet but can be signed in off season) Why would JP do any worse than Rothlisberger? OK, OK, How about he ONLY wins 10 games and WE GO TO THE PLAYOFFS! The Jets lost today, anyone think that JP couldnt have turned it around after an 0-4 start? with all the above going for us that I mentioned? Would you rather have a fastly fading mediocre QB of the past or a huge upside mediocre QB of the future as our starter right about now? Would JP have stood there and taken a sack for a fumble and TD today? Would he have thrown about 5 passes that easily could have been picked off? If hes even the same as Drew in this game, hes better because he can get better, Drew ONLY GETS WORSE FROM HERE! Our front office thinks that we can win the playoffs or SB with Drew at the helm and a good supporting cast? Nice fugging try, we have that good supporting cast and he couldnt even beat the Steelers 3rd stringers! Bledsoe is no better than Warner or Garcia at this point. Doubt me? ask yourself what a team would trade for Drew a 6th rounder? a 7th? That ought to give you an unbiased look at our QB! Drew and all his supporters can kiss my pimply fat a_s!!!! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  5. 1) Plays like garbage against big teams. Ummm the playoffs and SB is all good teams, thanx. 2) Drew played just good enough against teams worse than us to give us a late run and keep our future QB from getting playing time. 3) Tried to fool us into thinking he could get us somewhere and win. 4) Couldnt manage to beat the 3rd stringers for Pitt at home with the playoffs on the line? are you fugging kidding me? Moulds cant manage to catch the ball anymore and is even further away from being our #1 WR! I say he take a BIG pay cut or gets cut and becomes either the #2 or the #3 slot receiver! Lindell cant hit a chip shot like that when it meant so much? BYE! Sign Vinateri or draft Mike Nugent! The #1 way that Drew helped us today was by stinking up the joint and cementing in our GM's minds that he aint the guy to take us to the dance! 6 mil next year for a guy with a loqer passers rating coming into this game than Aaron Brooks, Kerry Collins, and Jake Plummer? Nice try..see ya Drew thanks for screwing us for another set of 4 years!!! I say cut Drew, force Moulds to take a pay cut, cut Lindell. Sign Plaxico Burress who is a better #2 than Moulds at this point Start JP Let jennings walk and sign either Tra Thomas, Walter Jones, or Orlando Pace Sign Bubba Fransk or Anthoy Becht Draft CJ Brooks David Baas (traded pick in 2nd for Henry) Chauncey Stovall Mike Nugent JJ Arrington Diamond Ferry BTW, Greybeard and others can fess up that "I was wrong" any time. This IS NOT a moment where Im pulling an I told you so. I am pissed and heartbroken and dont give 2 fuggs if I was right or wrong. I only want us Bills fans to get FIRMLY behind our future which right about now isnt even CLOSE to being Bleed-slow!
  6. Im genuinely sorry for starting any negativity today. Our Defense is SICK, our offense is productive...we are in great shape today, go Bills!!!! I bet Terrence McGee returns one for a TD today!
  7. If, (and I seriously hope this does NOT happen), but if, Drew lays a big fat egg today throwing for 3 picks and no TD's, will you come here and admit you were wrong?
  8. On ESPN and on the topic of who should start at QB of the Cowboys, Aikman says that he only knows one way to develop a young QB, PLAY HIM!!!!!
  9. Lets hope for lots of draw plays or short passes in the flat to McGahee, or short passes to the TE.
  10. However, at the home of the 12th man, nasty weather, our Bills fired up, the Steelers benching Roth and Bettis...Even Drew cant screw up that one
  11. Only worry is Drew lobbing passes, under throwing, or throwing at DB's. He has made several bad throws that didnt get picked off in the past few games...if he does that against the Steelers...UGHHHHHHHHH!
  12. YES...I FINALLY HAVE A FRIEND OT is a real possibility, can you say advantage STL!!!!!
  13. At home, Bulger looking sharp last week, the emergence of Steven Jackson, playing for the playoffs...No easy task for a still ailing Pennington who looked putrid against the Pats. I think the Jets lose to the Rams today!
  14. Ghee, sorry for cutting in on your endless bashing with a football related post.
  15. LMAO. This might be the single greatest post EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You, despite your relentless hatred of me, have now risen to the top poster on my list!
  16. It is unfair and untrue to claim that Belichecks success solely has to do with Brady starting or not starting. He is a head coach who, like all head coaches, learns on the job and adapts. Head coaches who dont no longer have jobs. Brady is a decent QB who is surrounded by a talented team and an all-world coaching staff. Weiss is now gone and I bet you money Brady has a career worst year next year. Brady would flat out be average for any other team. He is JUST like Warner or Garcia who many here argued were all we need as far as talent level to make the playoffs or more. You can now see first hand how that worked out for teams that werent that good or didnt have a great supporting cast. Brady is no diffierent IMO. Anyone can of course argue that he is a stud and his numbers back that but we will never know how good he REALLY is until he is on a bad squad. As far as JP goes, no one has any idea of what we have in JP. My arguement has always been that we know EXACTLY what we have in Drew and chances are VERY good that he isnt good enough! If in fact it turns out that Drew wont get us to the dance (and I honestly hope that ISNT true), then we must immediately find the guy who will. There is a possibility that its JP, and thats why we root for him. Its a lack of trsut in Drew and the unknown that is JP.
  17. A eniterly different take is the one that I try to convince other of. Why in fact would GM's continue to draft QB's 1st and foremost? Are they simply ignorant? I think we know better. I think that the NFL draft is simply the fruition of a logical ranking of the importance and potential of players. GM's see what most see, the QB position may be the most critical to a teams success, and as such desrves the uptmost attention during the offseason when you need one. It may not be that they draft QB's more often in the 1st round because they are so much better than other positions but rather that they need to do everything possible to try to get a really good one and since the draft is a gamble anyways, they figure they should take the least amount of risk by getting one who rates the highest. Its about probablity of success and trusting your scouts. If they take a look at a player and say that he has a great chance to be something special and its at a crucial position like QB, it makes the choice easier on draft day. GM's lean towards drafting QB's high because of the odds, its not a sure thing by any means. But the fact are the facts, there is usually a reason why your scouts rank a player in the 1st round. And quite often the ratings turn out to be true. If you can get the next Manning or Vick or McNabb and you need a QB, you do it, even when you have a shot at the next Pace or Kearse or Holt. The point about the cap implications of drafting a stud QB is valid and is something no squad can overlook. But, you must build around key players at key positions and QB is one of the prime candidates for natural leadership. GM's draft QB's high and will continue to do so because they know how much a premiere QB can mean to success and how much it could mean for revenue. It isnt solely about revenue though, team that lose usually blame the QB and then wont watch the team because of the crappy play. This year we get to watch the NFL as it is supposed to be, highly drafted QB's leading their respective teams to the playoffs and beyond. It can be done differently withotu a doubt but your best chance for success is with a stud at the helm!!!
  18. Why does you saying RJ make me laugh?
  19. well in true form, your willing to spread the hate around. At least your an equal opportunity hater.
  20. Your point on Indy is valid as far as the cap goes. I, as the GM, would not have signed Harrison to all that money and bet set to franchise James, after re-signing Peyton to all that coin. Peyton has proven that he spreads the ball around and would most likely have 2 1000+ yard WR's in Stokely and Wayne if Harrison left. Or, if James was the odd man out, I would have grabbed a RB in the draft or even traded a 2nd for Henry who would be close to as good as James and then spend my 1st on D. With 1 of the trifecta gone ( Harrison or James), the Dolts would have enough coin for 2 quality young vets to help there D. LB would be my first pick where they should never have let Peterson go anywhere. Id sign say a Kendrell Bell and then a Andre Dyson in the secondary. Just my guess. Philly made the better choice and is now in much better shape to go to the SB. Philly picked up a stud #1 and then added a stud to the D, rather than Indy stacking their O and trying to win every point race. I see your point in tying up that much cap cash in a QB. If it were ANY other position I would agree. But the QB handles the ball on EVERY offensive down and has to make a quality throw on EVERY passing play. My logic says that you HAVE to HAVE a good one to do well. Especially when your the Bills and we seem to screw things up so much!
  21. Dude, why all the hate? This board is getting ridiculous!!!!
  22. Thanks for a well thought out response. Its refreshing to get something other than, "Im too dumb to understand what your saying", or "you suck" as a post. I cant deny the Tom Bradys and wont try. I simply feel strongly that Brady is an example of a guy who is ONLY decent because of his supporting cast. Garcia and Warner, both of which you USED to use as examples, prove to me that when these guys go to a not-so-good team they stink! Yet, McNabb and to some degree Peyton have put there teams in the playoffs REGARDLESS of supporting cast. Add in the addition of TO, yes now injured and a team to watch to prove our points, and the Eagle WITH a decent supporting cast and WITH a great 1st round QB are considered by many to be the team to beat in ALL the NFL! I buy your arguements and have always seen the reasoning behind them but I cant get over the "Murphys Law" that seems to follow this team. This year we are 1 game away from ending our curse IMO. If we beat Pitt and either NYJ or Denv lose, we are in and have comeback and gotten in DESPITE the controversy. If we lose or dont get in, I could argue that we have only HURT our future, "In the more typical Bills Murphys Law fashion" by denying our future QB the palying time he so desperately needs. IT gets worse. The Bills front office is more likely to continue to start Drew even if we dont get to the playoffs because we remained in the hunt for so long, had new coaches which led to the 0-4 start, blah, blah. Prolonging the pain rather than starting over at QB seems to be worse to me. Thats where I stand. I really believe that this is the year that BOTH the SB QB's are 1st rounders. McNabb and Bledsoe , no more likely McNabb and Manning!
  23. Why again are we setting aside the premise of the original post? That THIS year the majority of teams in the playoffs or in contention have 1st round QB's? Last year vs. this year, no idea. Again the premise is that the notion of not needing a 1st round QB to goto the playoffs or beyond is not realistic. The truth is that you have a BETTER chance with a 1st round QB. Thats all I was ever trying to say. Our chances of getting to and getting deep in the playoffs or in the SB are BETTER with a 1st round QB at the helm. Why am I picturing myself dragging a dead, and heavily kicked, horse to water to try and make it drink? Forget it guys...Its just not worth it.
  24. Obvious to you and I but not so obvious to assclowns that argue that we can and will win a SB with the next Warner or Garcia at the helm. Its so obvious its stupid but apparently, whne smoking serious amounts of Stadiumwall, obvious goes out the window!
