Thank god that TD had the nuts to move up and grab our QB of the future LAST year instead of this one! Much better pikkins last year, this year we would have sat at 22 and with only 2 1st rounders projected (Rogers and Smith), it would have been VERY tough to get a highly ranked one!

Apparently, Joey Harrington is now done even though he only played for a decent team THIS year out of the 3 that he has been part of there team. So, yeah Joey is done. Me, Ill take my chances that Joey will still prove the doubters wrong. Yes, I think the guy will be good still. Yes, I think he has the right attitude to make up for average skills. As far as Manning, I dont buy that he is instantly Marino if he doesnt win THIS year. And as far as Manning and McNabb, how nice would it be to actually MAKE the damn playoffs rather than what we have done? Manning at least GETS there, thats more than I can say for Drew!

Many here argue that the equation for winning a SB is simply plugging in any old retread, undrafted QB, or some 1st rounder who has been traded, or cut to another team. How wrong you are! Of the teams in the playoffs right now, ONLY 1 QB is not playing for the team that drafted them! Furthermore, 6 out of the 8 teams have 1st rounders!!! NYJ- Pennington, 1st round, drafted by NYJ IND- Manning, 1st pick, 1st round, drafted by IND ATL- Vick, 1st pick, 1st round. drafted by ATl Pitt- Rothlisberger, 1st round, drafted by Pitt Minn- Culpepper, 1st round, drafted by Minn Phi- McNabb, 1st round, drafted by Phi STL- Bulger, 6th round, drafted by NO NE- Brady, 6th round, drafted by NE And yet look at all the retreads, undrafteds, or late rounders, who ARENT going to the dance! Many of these clowns have done a big fat ZIPPO for there squads or ZIPPO since going to a crappy squad after YOU all gave them there fame and claimed they were studs who could play on any team! Hell, some of these clowns, YOU wanted to be OUR QB! NYG- Warner Den- Plummer Clev- Garcia Car- Delhomme TB- Griese Ari- Blake (some idiots wanted him as our QB!) NO TEAM- Dilfer Chances are VERY good that the 2 teams in the SB both have starting 1st round QB's! The TRUTH is that there is NO sure fire recipe. But you stack the odds in your favor by getting a guy who LOOKS to have the most ability, thats the 1st round folks! BTW, Drew, a 1st rounder, left the team that traded him and has done SQUAT since. If you are leaving her alone and she isnt coming back because she misses you or what you were giving her than she isnt convinced that your what she needs. Its tough for sure, and I have been in your shoes before. But you need to give her space. Only good will come out of it. If she comes back, she would have convinced herself that she needs you. If she doesnt, she hasnt yet figured out whats good for her and your saving yourself a long painful road. Either way, she has to drive now and you have to be patient, hang in there, but give her lots of space.

OK, you all can enjoy this one at my expense. Im sticking to my guns though. This guy is gonna be great someday. Favre certainly proved that he can suck and, in the right situation, become a hall of famer! I would cut Drew in a heartbeat and grab Harrington for a LOT less money. BTW, Harrington had a better passers rating than Drew last year check it out! Detroits defense is why they suck, if they had our D, Harrington would be leading them to the playoffs at least. Yes, he is playing average ball right now, but Id rather have an average QB who could possibly win big games and has an upside, than an average QB who we KNOW loses big games and is on the decline. JP is my first choice for the Bills, but I wouldnt mind adding a guy like Harrington for some competition at least.

Drew has no upside, only downside. JP has TONS of upside. Evans, McGahee both turned out to be pretty damn good, I think its Losmans turn.
