ATT sold off a big chunk of DTV already in the spring. The deal structure put an enterprise value of DTV at $16B, ATT paid $64B for it 5 years ago. DTV is a hardware intensive business at both ends...delivering and receiving the content. I pay less for the same channels right now on youtube tv than i paid just for equipment on DTV. AND, both my kids get it in their houses as family members for free. Now, i have kids in college and its how i have gotten Sunday Ticket last two years...and ST will be something new withing two years so I am all good.

One correction , I despise Trump and could never vote him. He divided our country in a way that overrides all his policy decisions.. some which I agreed with, most I did not. having said that, I have said since last April I have no clue how a political affiliation should affect how this virus is attacked and what the science and the data says. it’s unfortunate the political hacks on both sides see an opportunity to gain votes instead of save lives and do what’s right for our country by using misinformation and outright lies to make their side appear the better.

I fully support the the effectiveness of vaccines, nothing has changed. They are lifesavers, I think you are an idiot if you don’t take them. You stated in your post less than 1% of people that died of Covid were fully vaccinated... this data , from the freaking CDC..says your numbers were wrong! Yea, the hospital systems were never over burdened in the first place. Show me where anyone died or was refused care due to any conditions at any hospital anywhere in the country outside of rural area that have 1 or 2 ICU beds and some folks needed to be transferred to larger hospitals. So I ask again, are these shots really vaccines are are they therapeutics. In either case, the only people unvaxed people are screwing over are themselves. How are they screwing over the country exactly? #1) cdc crazy lady says even vax people can get and spread virus, just like unvaxed people. So vaccine is more of a therapeutic I guess. People choose not to get vaccine just means they are refusing medicine to combat the effects of virus. So don’t really matter if you vaccinated or not. Or 2) vaccines are really vaccines , and only people at risk are unvaccinated. Maybe harsh, but screw em, their choice to get sick and possible die. Same as any other reckless behavior.
