Twas I who wrote the season off after 1 period!!! I was as mad at a Buffalo team as I have ever been...and like you still not 100% sold. Vegas was a better game than the Rangers by a mile I thought..but i did do a lot of skipping that game as watched on delay.

Having said that, thought i would share with the board that my wife recently had surgery to remove about a 10-inch section of her colon( not cancerous, but had to go). Thought she would be hospital 3 days, ended up being 6. Received the statement from the hospital today. IV Tylenol for pain. $600/pop Fluids/saline IV.. $400 a pop Sterile Items( not sure what that is $2000 Tums $60 All told, $58,000 for a 6 day hospital stay(surgeons fee not included, that was an additional $6K in separate bill) that was all about pain management. Never in ICU, never any additional scans/tests after the surgery outside of blood work to make sure no infection...they just wanted her there as her pain was greater than they expected. WOW..we are on an HSA High Deductible and had already hit deductible so we pay $0..but Aetna paying them $43K..holy moly. Something wrong somewhere

yep..I never worry about that as the after party is just as much fun as the pre-game..even better after a win! For future reference, there are a couple home lots south of Big Tree. This is where they parked. They left as soon as the kick went through, and said traffic heading south on Abbott to the Hamburg thruway entrance was a breeze! Good to know for folks heading that way!

Thanks all for the suggestion of the Hamburg Thruway entrance. These guys need a quick as hell exit..looks like they can just take Abbott south then head from there to Hamburg entrance. Anyone know if there are lots south of Big Tree on Abbott so they can avoid that cluster at Abbott and Big Tree?

Need some advice on stadium traffic. Couple guys coming to the game and I am not 100% sure of what best area to park/ exit will be. Here is the situation They are staying right off 20a in East Aurora. They need to head towards Erie immediately after the game. I never come for the East, nor head out towards Erie after the game. My thought is park at Bert's Bikes, quick exit to Thruway and I assume pretty easy traffic heading in that direction towards Erie Does that seem right to others that may have experience going that way? Other Questions 1) My direction to Berts would be 20a to right on California to left on Southwestern, cross Aboott and take right into Bert's bike. Anyone know if traffic is crazy on those roads at 8;30? 2) I assume thruway entrance on Milestrip is the best way to get to Erie ...anyone know a better way or is that best? Thx in advance

on the drive to Buffalo yesterday, listened to Shoop show on GR..seems not only was the game awful..everything was awful. Kept tickets prices the same, but beer was jacked by $3.00. Concessions were a mess, 20 minute waits for cold or non-existent food. I love what the Pegulas have done for Buffalo, but if these reports are true it is not good. Will see tonight and report. I am not one to boo..no promises for tonight. Ever the optimistic sort, I am expecting a big dominating win tonight
