I wrote a story about the 1993 Houston Game for a french 'zine. I'm looking for free of rights photos. Do you know some site on the internet where i could find this?

South Dakota to ban abortion?

hi Mickey how do you do?! well as you can see here and on the baseball part of the board, it looks like the regulars on this board still have issues with the french... anyway, i can not do anything vs racism and stereotypes... so well i'll go on... France 's still the giant mess it is for about 15-20 years and i don't see it change in the future... but you know i don't really care... i'm french because they have to put something on my passeport, but you know me and patriotism are some real strangers... i'm a proud father since jan 31 st and everything goes fine for me. and as long as the sabres play the way they do i will be patient on the Bills front... -
yeah it looks he has been the victim of an other issue (drugs use being the other) of our modern societies: Obesity.

yes i know... and i did not want to generalize the very diverse population of the NYC metro area . What i meant is that the way of life in NYC is not very "american" compared with the rest of the country. In fact New York has its own issues, own problems, a lot of New Yorkers don't often leave the town and don't know much about what is life outside the city limits and a big part of the US people do not really imagine what life really is for a New yorker. and the same can be said for parisians and the rest of France. i've lived in Paris for 3 years and i could not imagine before , being from a small town, how it could be even if i had lived in big towns (Lyon, Barcelona, SF...) . New York, Paris are more than big towns, they are their own universe in some points, i think that it must be true for most towns reaching the 8-9 millions limit , it gets so difficult to go out of it, there is so much to do inside of it that you 're a like a prisoner that do not even know there is an "outside". -

well i find NYC people much more snobby and arrogant than New England's... a little like the parisians in France... but i don't rank Paris as french or NYC as american, those two towns are in their own special world. -

i never said blacks are oppressed in the US Crap!! read my posts again! i said they were as oppressed as muslims in France! (JSP is the first one that used the word "oppressed"), Blacks in the US are not oppressed, muslims in France are not oppressed, but a lot of them are victims of racism, discrimination and living out of the mainstream society, that's all i said! -

I've never understood why WNYers love to stereotype and critic Boston and New England that much... Those are my two favorite places in the USA and they have a lot in common... WNYers like to think New England is a white collar arrogant place while it has deep blue collar and down to earth roots. I love WNY and New England because people are "real" in those regions, those places have a "soul", a peculiar feel ... -
Please don't list that fraud of Dante Culpepper with two of the purest talents in the whole league.

i don't know where and when you have seen a NFL coach letting K Stewart, A Brooks or A Ware play without limiting them into a strict conservative system. If you consider than playing for the Steelers is an opportunity for a QB like Stewart well jails are full of people enjoying professional opportunities!

i agree Mickey , never underestimate racism. Racism seems to find a way to come back like a mosquito in a summer night. you think you have killed it ten times but it's back again buzzing in your ears... That is why situations like the ones of the blacks in America and the North african muslims in France are very dangerous for our countries because as long as you have minorities outside of the mainstream society you have the perfect soil for racism to grow (both sides with terrible effects that can go a lot farther than some street riots) -

i never said they were either. Only JSP said some people were persecuted... Otherwise we more or less share the same views... The muslim minority in France has basically the same issues and peculiarities than the black one in the US Then again i actually live in France ... -
i always find it ridiculous when i hear or read people telling a QB will not succeed in the NFL because he has poor mechanics. This is not figure skating, this is football guys, as long as the ball finishes in the hands of a receiver the pass is complete! I think that a lot of so called "QB busts" have their roots in the conservative style of 90% of the NFL head coach. From Flutie to Kordell, from Brooks to Leftwich it's a shame so many talented QBS have never been able to really showcase their talent in the NFL because tehy were not classic pocket QBs. I'm afraid the same is waiting for A Smith, V Young or Vick junior, that's why college football is most of the time a lot better show than the NFL, free Qbs , creativity, instinctive play is what make football fun.

well it's easy to find a "base" on this! Just check who is under the poverty level in the USA, what is the less educated minority, what community is the most often victim of crime... Go in any american inner city and open your eyes, mainstream America is not black. -

I know JSP but what you say about the black minority, its leaders and the specific problems thay have compared with other minorities is very similar to what France has to deal with with its muslim (mainly north african) minority. France has done a lot (financially, legally...)for that specific community and it has not worked while it has worked for others (chinese, italians, spaniards, eastern europeans, portuguese...) We have not find a solution yet as America has not found yet a solution for its black minority. -

Only if you toldl me how muslims are persecuted in France... Fact is the issues are exactly the same, while the two governments are supposed to guarantee equality among its citizens, Muslims in France and Blacks in America have to deal much more in their everyday lives with discrimination, poverty, low access to education and crime than the rest of the population. -

South Central L.A. circa 1990: about 50 deads in about 2 nights. France 2005: 0 dead in 20 nights. The worst poor suburbs in France are much safer than any inner city ghetto in America. We have nothing to be proud of here in France. The integration into the main stream society of the last immigration waves has been a total failure but on that point i dare to say the USA has NO advice to give us. 140 years after the end of slavery the integration into main stream America of its black minority is still a total failure. At least France has failed for only 30 years. -

* first this is not "my" government i'm not prime minister of france. * second i wonder what you're talking about... muslims are a lot less persecuted in France than let's say, blacks in the USA. -

it's funny how the extreme right in America likes to exclude everybody but themselves from what they feel is "right"... "if you are for abortion you can not be a christian" "if you don't like the Patriot Act you're not a true american" "if you don't support the government you're anti-patriotic"... i wonder how they can really hope one day having a majority of americans behind them while considering a vast majority of them not even one of theirs -
