  1. Wrong Mac. We got the fumbling one, not the good one.
  2. I thought they said McKenzie from Denver? Or both? Cam Phillips cut
  3. You are addressing the latter portion of the tweets, after jw got sucked into the discussion of what options were available. Even on that, he threw a bone out. The main crux of the point, and counter to the polite Canadian nature, was jw taking a rightful shot at the whiny reporters who don't have the courage to ask the hard questions when they are in the prime position to ask the hard questions. If you have a pen or a microphone and you slam the organization for their management of the team, you should have enough of a backbone to ask those questions directly.
  4. The season ticket holder sold 8 paper tickets and we bought 6 online. Two people with the paper tix got to the stadium early, but when our group went through the gates it invalidated the paper ticket scans for the rest of the other group. Spent the entire first quarter with guest services. They ended up resitting the other group, but unfortunately the people outside with paper tickets had to pay again. They totally got screwed by the guy.
  5. That's why this thread is a hilarious hijack. Par for the tsw course.
  6. A few caps also help once in a while Again, missing the point of the tweetstorm. jw wasn't defending the process.
  7. I thought the tweetstorm was rather self-explanatory
  8. This was the make it or break it season for him. I don't see him on the roster next year, unless a miracle happens in the next 7 weeks.
  9. Because you're running a much greater risk at reaggravating the injury if you rush him back. The risk vs reward on this type of injury is way off the charts.
  10. Whether it's a formal UCL sprain is immaterial to me compared to Allen's reaction to the sideline test during the game. Sure looked like the nerve was affected, and there's zero reason to rush him back to action one week before the bye and the season under the bridge
  11. Since he didn't get surgery on the elbow, the only cure is time to heal. There's no way that he can go from not being able to throw at all to suddenly starting. The risk to reaggravating the nerve is too big. You do not throw him out there one week before the bye and sitting on a 2-7 record.
  12. O'Leary is fools' gold. He couldn't outright beat out the other guys in training camp. With defenses stacking the box now, O'Leary would never get open in this offense
  13. Bills really miss O'Leary's 0 catches in the last 2 Phins games. there was zero rationale to keep him over any of the other 3, who have a higher ceiling if they can develop. Bottom line is that TE is a position that needs a serious upgrade. Charles Clay has gotten a pass considering the more visible holes on offense, but to me he's the biggest problem out there. If you take a look at the QBs ho are doing well, nearly all of them have a great TE who helps the QB. Clay has never lived up to his contract and not only is invisible in the offense, but when he does show up, he has a knack for a backbreaking plays. He's this decade's version of Reuben Gant. If I were the Bills, I'd target a premier TE before I spend a nickel on a WR.
  14. Pegulas are also great trolls - PicSix Creative. Very apropos.
  15. That was made abundantly clear when the Bills offense suddenly looked more professional with friggin Thad Lewis & Jeff Tuel under center
  16. Of course they do, they're the owners. The only question is how open McD and Beane have been with Terry & Kim about the roster transformation.
  17. I'll never buy a resale paper ticket again. That's where all the fraudsters are now. Had a slightly similar issue at the Titans game. Season ticket holder sold his paper tickets to group, and then listed the same seats on Ticketmaster (which we bought). The group that got the paper tix were screwed because our codes were scanned first and their tickets became useless.
  18. BTW, the lot moved slightly on the side of Izod - Lot #27. The old NYCBB spot is closed for construction
  19. I guess this situation has devolved into a crisis where people have to think of the good qualities of EJ Manuel's play. My only guess about EJ's unemployment was a little quip I heard on a podcast about his rookie year - the coaches were befuddled because he never seemed to grasp the plays or on a more fundamental level didn't pick up whether the play called for a 3, 5 or 7 step drop. Have no idea whether he improved over the years, but I have to wonder why a handful of coaches who had him on their rosters want no part of him now. Anthony Lynn thought that Cardale was a better prospect. Having said that, he's mountains better than Peterman.
  20. Proud boys got into a fight with Antifa on the upper east side. There are no right wing groups in the metro NY area, but boy are the news hoping that some blue collar white working stiffs from LI or Jersey knock over some Jewish tombstones. Except they wont. The overwhelming anti-semitic crimes in NY are done by blacks, who usually live in the same neighborhoods.
  21. Don Lemon, paging Don Lemon.
  22. If that were the case, then Josh Woodrum would have been the 2-year starter
