  1. I just watched the same video and could not agree more. He was just a damn good football player.
  2. The Hampton on Chippewa is a great location...especially for stumbling home. The place is literally in the middle of all the bars on Chippewa. It's also very nicel, especially for a Hampton. If you guys don't mind spending some $$, the Mansion on Delaware is very, very nice. Even includes "butler service", i.e. someone to drop you off and pick you up. Also walking distance to Chippewa.
  3. Dick is supposed to be "coaching for his job" this year (not that you could tell by that decision to punt on 4th and 1). If I was in his shoes, Terrence McGee would definitely be back there returning kicks. Roscoe looked horrible against the Saints on kickoff returns and McGee was incredible when he was back there. If he gets dinged up, so be it. Desperate times....
  4. I just saw this quote in the linked article below: "including Sunday's game, five of the Bills' next six opponents are a combined 1-14." http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...l#ixzz0SWTZgow0 I am as down on Jauron as anyone...but man, talk about a soft schedule looking at those combined records!
  5. I thought the punt on 4th and 1 was the final nail in the coffin on this game. The D was dead tired, that was our last gasp to try and get some momentum. Just a horrible, weak, scared decision.
  6. Ooooo...very faint memories, but definitely deserves to be on the list...top 5.
  7. Dude...I went from jumping on my seat to crawling under my seat in about 2 seconds.
  8. I agree with you. That one should be on the list but further down since we did not have that game "won" or miss a field goal to "not win". But damn that was a stunning loss for sure.
  9. Agreed...but I was focused on "stunning losses", as in "oh my god, we actually are going to win this thing...then...no F'n way did we just blow that game, that is impossible to believe we just snatched defeat from the jaws of victory" type of losses.
  10. I think that Pittsburgh loss was more of slow root canal type of pain. If Milloy had missed that tackle on Parker in the last minute, or on the last play, then I would put it on the list.
  11. Please feel free to add to the list. This was off the top of my head and pretty much focused on "Stunning Losses", i.e. right at the end of the game. I would not want any other last minute, knife to the heart, absolutely crushing defeats left off the list that deserve to be there.
  12. 38 years old. Thankfully my memories pretty much go back to the Ferguson - Ferragamo - Mathison era. That is enough for me
  13. 1. Wide Right: Giants Super Bowl 1991 (My seat was pretty lousy and I actually thought the kick was good!) 2. Home Run Throwback: Titans Playoffs 2000 (Titans score on forward lateral on kickoff after “winning” touchdown drive by Bills) 3. Harmon's Drop: Cleveland Playoffs 1990 ((Harmon's dropped pass in the end zone on the potentially winning play) 4. New England Nightmare: MNF 2009 (McKelvin fumbles the kickoff with 2:00 left and the Bills up by 5) 5. Dallas Debacle: MNF 2007 (Cowboys recover onside kick and hit 53 yard field goal to win the game) 6. Cleveland Collapse: MNF 2008 (Cleveland makes a 56 yard field goal with a minute left, Buffalo misses a 47 yard field goal at the end of the game) 7. Season Opener 2004 (Jags win on last play, Leftwich to Wilford after Clements should have knocked down an earlier pass and killed the drive) 8. Season Opener 2007 (Elam and the Broncos field goal unit scrambled onto the field to convert a 42-yard attempt just as time ran out) 9. Losman’s Last Laugh 2008 (Bills are running out the clock, Losman fumbles on a bootleg and Jets run it back for winning TD) 10. Fill in the blank This is really an impressive list when you think about all the different ways you can blow a game. Go Bills.
  14. I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to f**kin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?
  15. I just called and got the exact same deal...total discount of $220 ($120 off SundayTicket and $99 free SuperFan). I think it is a good idea if there are 31 other threads out there saying the same thing and eveyone is calling...maybe DirecTV would get the message that they are gouging their customers and the NFL is gouging their fans and people are not going to pay this much $$ for what they are offering!
  16. Hemingways actually used to have the exact same wings as Gabriel's Gate. Dave Forness was the owner and also owned Birchfields and I believe 50% of the Buffalo House...they all had awesome wings. I know he does not own the Gate anymore but the wings there are still very good. Not sure about Hemingways, etc.....
  17. That is Jason Smith to the Rams and Andre Smith to the Seahawks (both Tackles).
  18. So Michael Lombardi just went through his Top 10: 1. Lions - Stafford, QB 2. Rams - Smith, T 3. Chiefs - Jackson, DE 4. Seahawks - Smith, T 5. Browns - Raji, DT 6. Bengals - Monroe, T 7. Raiders - Heyward-Bey, WR 8. Jaguars - Sanchez, QB (he did say this may get traded to another team who wants Sanchez) 9. Packers - Oher, T 10. 49ers - Crabtree, WR ...that is where they left off after the Top 10...very interesting. Then two other "experts" come on and one guys says no way Curry slips that much and the other guy says it could happen. My two cents is that would be friggin' awesome if the Bills ended up with Curry!!!
  19. When the Bills drafted Preston in the 4th round, they thought very highly of him as a Center. Then, for whatever reason, they started playing him at Guard...where he struggled. Then, last week against the Chargers, he is back at Center, and he played very well. Maybe the guy can only play Center...and would be that be so bad? Its hard to picture Fowler playing well at Guard either. On the play where Marshawn tripped over Preston, there was actually a nice hole in front of him. Nobody touched him until he was already on the ground and had fallen forward for 2 yards. If he does not trip, that is a 4-5 yard run IMO. Did Whitner prove his worth against the Chargers or what? That whole defensive scheme falls apart without Donte. Fred Jackson is special...running, catching, blocking...deceptively fast and strong. Really hope the Bills can lock this guy up with a long term contract. The #1 reason I think the Bills will beat the Fish this week is based on how badly noodle-arm Pennington has struggled against our D the past couple years. Watch the Bills crowd the line to stop the run, press the WRs and dare noodle-arm to beat us deep...he can't do it! Go Bills!!!
  20. Can we please sign Fred Jackson to a contract extension...asap!! How about that move on the reverse also???
  21. More to come... TE Anderson, CB James, LB Spragan, RB Wright all cut
  22. How long has Peters actually played LT? Two years?? Seriously, if any guy on our team actually needs the offseason and training camp to get better it is this guy. Makes this whole holdout even more annoying and frustrating! Just think about how good he can be if he actually spends the offseason working at getting better. FRUSTRATED!!!
