  1. still would be nice to get some push on run blocking. Willis had to keep cutting back to look for a hole, but it's only the 1st scrimmage so I won't complain to much. Losman looked good, as did evans/moulds/parrish
  2. HELL NO!!!!!!!! Our offense has been bad enough, no reason to make it worse by trading our best wr.
  3. Only if they throw in Michael Lewis and Jevon Kearse They get their rumors from the same people the raider fans got their "Takeo Spikes and Travis Henry for Charles Woodson and a 4th"
  4. wtg I hope you're happy ruining this thread
  5. Welcome aboard from one Bills fan in NJ to another.
  6. The sports Network is entitled to their opinion but I liked the stuff that "Mcgahee isn't ready to carry the load" yeah he only had 7 100 yard games in 11 starts and 13 td's, while basically carrying the ball 25-30 times a game but "he's not ready" The New Look dolphins? basically have the same exact team as last year, with the exception of a few players on defense, like kevin carter, the de who used to play for gb and kc last year, and some others. The same horrible offensive line, and the same horrible quaterback. I don't get all the hype for Nick Saban. Shouldn't he actually have to coach a nfl game first?
  7. RIP Hunter Kelly. My thoughts and prayers are with the Kelly Family on this sad day
  8. Simon would give our defense the most importat aspect of todays nfl's defensive musts. INTERIOR PASS RUSH. It would also go a long way to adding depth on the most important part of any good defense quality defensive line. With Adams best days winding down, Corey Simon would fill a need. I'd do this for a 2nd and our 3rd in a heartbeat. It would cancel out the need to only draft a dt in next years draft.
  9. If there was a lt worth signing that was out there, than yeah it would be wiser to bring in a lt. However you can never have enough good players on the dline. It all starts upfront on defense. Simon would be worth the investment, however I'm also not holding my breath till I see some legit source.
  10. Not that I know of I think his contract is up after the 06 season. With that said I definitly would not be opposed to brining in corey simon. He's a proven player and would only make our defense better. Nothing against Ron Edwards, but at least with simon we'd be legit at dt, and like the bills organization has been saying. This is not a year we're going to "Take a step back" We have the defensive talent and st's to compete for a playoff spot and possibily the division title. If we don't get simon and this is just some rumor to spark interest from another club, than I won't lose sleep about it, as that money could go to extending clements and mcgee.
  11. Considering they finished 1st in most leagues last year I don't think it's a reach at all. Mcgahee at 5 might be a stretch risk for people hesitant to pick him, I don't think it is. Holmes/Tomlinson/Alexander/Edge/Mcgahee are my top 5 backs.
  12. I'm not really impressed by the raiders offense. Randy Moss is Randy Moss but after that it's sketchy. Jerry Porter is mr. hype for someone who's thought of so highly he's yet to put up a 1000 yard season and I question if he's even better than another raiders wr ronald curry. The Raiders attempted the 3rd most passes in the league and porter still can't break 1000. Lamont Jordan has proved nothing, other than he's a good backup. Kevin barlow, and Troy Hambrick also did that once upon a time. The Raiders oline is improving but far from great, Kerry Collins is well Kerry Collins a turnover machine who averages 25 a season, has more career ints than td's. They'll put up points, but their offense is still not better than KC's or Indy's, or The Vikings. Their defense is downright putrid. I'd consider losing to the Raiders this year a big let down, just as it was last season.
  13. it's only more money for this year. It will indeed be interesting to see if they try to sign seymour long term, cause of the 5 year 12-18 million dollar contract (based on incentives) that the pats recently signed seymours backup jarvis green too. I think they try to trade seymour after this season. Paying a backup that much money while Seymour/Ty Warren are the starters it will be interesting to see what Ne does with Seymour after this season.
  14. Pocket Presence>>Mobility It's always good to have mobility. You can make things happen when they break down. However time and time again the best quaterbacks have proved, and teams that have won superbowls have proved that a quaterback with pocket presence will get it done more than a quaterback who can run. The last quaterback who could run and won a superbowl was Steve Young. Elway was a pocket passer by the time he won. However Mularkey is right a d definitly has to respect the added aspect of the quaterback who can run, but I'd much rather have a quaterback who can beat you from the pocket, and use his mobility only to escape pressure.
  15. Had to vote Steve Young on that list, as he was a guy who could literally do it all. Pick you apart with his arm, or beat you with his legs. Smart, Efficent, speed, good arm and oh yeah had the signle greatest superbowl performance of all time. Youngs not nearly getting enough respect on that poll. Nothing against Jimbo, but I'd take young over him by a mile.
  16. Hines ward the last 3 seasons has made the money of the 15th, 34th, and now 37th highest paid wr in the league. Name me 36 wr's better than Hines Ward. Ward deserves a new contract.
  17. Excellent read. There were two parts I really liked to hear. Bills President and General Manager Tom Donahoe has had preliminary discussions with Clements' agent, Neil Cornrich. Donahoe indicated the two sides will try to schedule a face-to-face meeting sometime after the Bills' scrimmage in Green Bay. "His agent is planning on coming to camp, so I'm sure at some point we'll have some conversations," Donahoe said. "We want Nate to be here. He was part of our original draft class. We've watched him grow and develop, and we still think his best football is ahead of him." This shows that at least we're trying to get something done and I hope to god we do strike an extension to keep The Best Corner in the game on our team. Vincent has been constantly on Clements, making sure Clements is not satisfied with what he accomplished last season. "Sometimes when you have success, that can be your worst enemy," Vincent said. "This is not a game for what you did yesterday. It's what have you done for me lately. I've been where he's at. I've been to Pro Bowls, I've been an unrestricted free agent and I've been in 19 playoff games. I also understand what you have to do to prepare yourself not to be good, but to be great. That's why I personally make sure Nate and I are in the same drills together. I'm not going to let him take a day off because as good as he is he can always be better." Having someone like Vincent who's been there and done that, not letting Clements rest on his laurels is only gonna make NC a better player in the long run. Veteran influence from a guy who was considered one of the best in the game himself not to long ago, can go a long way to shaping a young players career, as those lessons will hopefully stick, even when said veteran retires. Nate Clements has a tremendous career in front of him, and I for one would love to see that career unfold with him as a member of the Buffalo Bills. Git er done TD, Git er Done.
  18. The same reason why they dumped Simeon Rice....... they're the cardnials Now I'm not saying Wendell Bryant is as good a DT as Rice is a de, but I think he's worth a look. Competition never hurt no one. We could use all the fresh bodies we can get for defensive depth.
  19. only 5 teams attemped less passes than the Bills last season. Of the 12 teams that finished in the bottom of the league in pass attempts only 4 receivers went over 1000 yards Ward/Clayton/Johnson/Moulds 80 1004 12.6 4 - Hines ward 80 1193 14.9 7- Michael Clayton 79 1142 14.5 6- Andre Johnson 88 1043 11.9 5- Eric Moulds Rumors of Moulds "hitting the wall" have been greatly exaggerated. I don't see Eric as a slot receiver, not that he couldn't do it but I'd rather have him on the outside and use parrish as the slot guy, based on his speed.
  20. The reports are most definitly appreciated.
  21. Not that The Stadium Wall isn't full of specialists with medical degrees It sounds like you could have some type of sleeping disorder which is worsened by your weekened drinking binges. See a doctor and best of luck to ya.
