  1. It had something to do with him selling his soul to the devil. That is why God sent Tebow to try and save him.
  2. this is not a caption, but I am impressed with how low he is for a big man while still being in balance.
  3. Pretty sure he called him that because he head butted his wife last year. Just guessin'. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/11/chad-johnson-arrested-head-butt-evelyn-lozada-report_n_1768973.html
  4. Lol. Exactly what I was thinking. This board was based on their needs. Why would they spend much time evaluating QB's when it is, according to them, not an area of need.
  5. I would like to name him Bob.... Actually, it's Jerry Rice. What do I win?
  6. You really think so? This seems more like a training camp/ special teams move to me. If you truly think Whaley got this guy because he has doubts about Woods or Goodwin then you are greatly under-estimating those two receivers and/or over-estimating Sampson.
  7. 17th pick. Guard (or safety) Getting Clowney at 3 would be cool, but only if we trade up to get him. We can package our second round with the number 17 pick (or lower) and trade up.
  8. I now want a boat just to use this name.
  9. Just one example. This is comic gold: Oakland Raiders: Matt Barkley, QB, USC When everybody look back at the 2013 mark draft five month ago from now, they gonna say they havin' a lot of family on the mark draft. Geno and Alex Smiths reunite again three pick earlier, and now Matt Barkley, who uncle of Charles Barkley, famous basketball player, movin' to the Specific Ocean. The Raider sign Matt Flint, who play for Packer. Flint become first quarterback to throw 400 touchdown in a game against Lion on Week 17. I very impressive by this, but the fact remain that this could have beened a fluke. Like the old sayin' go, one is a accident, two is a fluke. 5 months ago from now. . Classic.
  10. Very smart move on his part. Hard to rip a guy about something if he goes along with the joke. This will help him get past this a lot quicker IMO.
  11. Just heard on radio this morning that after the surgery on his arm, Gronk will be heading to a spine specialist to have them check out a back issue he has been dealing with. They said it may require "minor" surgery. Can't imagine that is a good sign. http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/9286968/rob-gronkowski-new-england-patriots-need-back-surgery-source
  12. I think effector is my new favorite word. I agree, the progression of Glenn and the line in general will be a crucial element to our success. I don't know who our new offensive line coach is, but I hope he is up to the task.
  13. Besides the points that others have made, I'd like to point out that characterizing Marrone and Hackett as "college coaches" is not neccesarily accurate. They have both spent time around the NFL game to the point where I believe they are able to understand that not everything they did in college will work in the pro game. I am hopeful that they will adjust accordingly.
  14. Wow! I know this was expected but I am still a bit surprised. He seemed really active in the draft.
  15. African or European?
  16. Because I said so...
  17. I hope that is true but he was the only QB taken in round 1. There may be a few complexities with that, even with the new rookie limits. I hope I'm wrong though.
  18. Don't forget the heated Kelly vs. Flutie debates that we often wage here on the Wall.
  19. Wow! My math is weak when the numbers are this big, but does that mean you hope to make 100 billion dollars?! Good for you. Will you buy the Bills?
  20. The guy offered to buy him a mint julep.
  21. It's only money. He should just be happy she left be for their we're kids, alimony and child support in the picture.
  22. Hopefully it will make him play angry.
  23. The real problem was that they would have had to film one eighth of the movie in Toronto which would have made it difficult to be successful.
  24. I've heard of the expression tit for tat, but never heard of tat for tit.
