Do you believe the president when he says he's been calling Benghazi a terrorist attack all along? Even though there is video of him blaming the video on major networks? I'm not sure what Pickering, Issa or Brooks has to do with that. It's no longer a point of discussion, this administration flat out lied to the America people about a terror attack which resulted in the killings of four Americans. They clearly ignored pleas for more security before the attack. The only point of discussion left on Benghazi is whether anything could have been done during the attack to save the people who died and whether the president or Clinton were derelict in their jobs that night.

What's damning is that it took the free American MSM media seven full months to start covering this story. That they had to be shamed into doing so in the face of undeniable and irrefutable evidence. That this happened in the age of high speed internet and high speed information at the click of a button. They were acting as a protector for the government regime. They freely and willfully took over the media's role and job as what is done in communist countries. What's also damning is this video clip which is the perfect example of the MSM doing their job of covering their emperor's mess...

There are two important lingering questions, who gave the stand down command on the night of the attack and who was the author of Rice's flat out lies to the American people on that Sunday morning. After today's solid testimony, these questions are not going to go away that easily. This may become a "who's more powerful" battle between the long standing "liberal" media helping covering up the truth and new media attempting to uncover the truth. I'm sure there will be a couple of scapegoats at the ready, but will these scapegoats be even plausible at this point?

Las Vegas has the Bills 3-13
1billsfan replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
New head coach, new offensive coordinator, new defensive coordinator, new QBs, new WRs, new LBs. That's a whole lot of changes. To me, the Bills are a complete unknown as far as predicting a record. -
Well there's that and then there's also the plethora of bad teams in the NFL, especially in the AFC. Given this, having a HOF QB and coach has made it rather easy for them the last few years. Look at what happened to the Colts when Manning was lost for a year. I think the same thing would happened to the Pats. They simply never have been able to replace their star players through the draft, especially on defense.

Rd 1, Pick #16: QB EJ Manuel - Florida St.
1billsfan replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are stupid. I think the majority of the NFL media who were calling EJ Manuel 2nd and 3rd round talent will eventually be embarrassed by their low-ball evaluations of Manuel. Going into the draft, Ryan Nassib amazingly ascended higher than EJ Manuel on a LOT of draft expert's boards. It got to the point where these "experts" were ok with Nassib being drafted by the Bills at #8. It made absolutely no sense to me at all especially when you consider that these people are getting paid for their "expert" opinions. EJ Manuel in comparison to Ryan Nassib is much bigger, much taller, much faster, has a stronger arm, he's smarter, has much better touch, played better teams, played in a better conference, had a better completion percentage, 4-0 in bowl games, was the winning QB in the Senior Bowl, he's extremely mobile, runs very well with the football, was faster in the cone drills, and he out jumped him by a lot in the broad and vertical jumps. The only reason I can think of why the downgrades happened was that EJ Manuel was the only QB in this draft class being punished by the majority of the NFL media for not being RGIII or Andrew Luck. The "experts" were mad, they were confused and they needed a QB to take it out on. They seemingly took glee in knocking EJ Manuel more than any QB in this class. I'm almost positive that EJ has the draft expert's comments on him well-documented. This is very strange and unreal stuff, here's the NFL.com's final draft prospect grades... Ryan Nassib - 78.7 EJ Manuel - 68.7 Obviously no one's hit the field yet but if I were EJ, I'd have a huge chip on my shoulder for being so thoroughly discounted, mocked and knocked around the last few months by the NFL media. -
While the Ravens did win the Superbowl, the AFC is the weaker conference without a doubt. It's a conference ripe for the taking if a team turns it around like the Niners did a couple of years ago. Once Brady and Manning retire there's only Luck and Flacco to deal with. I have no idea if the Bills can turn it around and become a very good team again, but at least there's hope that Manuel will be the key for something like that to happen a year or two down the road.
-
Not only does New England look weaker, but the entire AFC looks weak to me. I'm certainly not saying the Bills can take advantage this year with a rookie QB at the helm, but if they do hit it big with EJ Manuel the future looks very bright for them and us. Shades of the mid to late eighties landscape.

I almost got my head bit off here questioning Smith's personality a couple months ago...lol I started to question my own original "bad vibes" I got from the guy and was getting on the bandwagon. No one's hit the field yet, but I'm still so relieved that draft turned out the way it did and we got EJ!

Poll: Grade Draft, EJ Manuel Question
1billsfan replied to The Voice of Truth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This year's draft class made some of the national guys look pretty foolish. A few months ago, McShay scorched Nassib calling his arm "vastly overrated" only to vault him to his 2nd rated QB just before the draft…lol Few NFL teams are taking an unathletic QB high in the draft anymore. The game has changed. It doesn't mean that an unathletic guy can't make it. It's just a huge strike against you in what's probably the most athletic and physical sport on the planet. -
Poll: Grade Draft, EJ Manuel Question
1billsfan replied to The Voice of Truth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The good thing is that no one is expecting "plug and play" with Manuel. If it happens fast, then great. But the expectation is that he needs some polishing be that six games or a year. Having all these weapons will provide much needed confidence for when he does finally take over. I am so relieved and excited that they drafted Manuel. I was nervous since there was so much talk and rumor of Nassib. They were even talking about Nassib to the Bills at #8 right up before our our pick! That drove me crazy. -
Poll: Grade Draft, EJ Manuel Question
1billsfan replied to The Voice of Truth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for sharing that. Three differences I can see between Manuel and Losman... 1. EJ Manuel is a very likable person who people gravitate towards. Losman obviously never had that quality, which is probably the main reason why Geno Smith probably fell as far as he did. Smith's personality just doesn't fit with the job. 2. Manuel seems to possess a Ben Rothlisberger type ability of pushing defenders off him. Not as well, but it seems to be there. Losman never had that kind of skill. 3. Manuel seems to be a smarter, more dedicated and more centered of an individual than was Losman. I totally understand the Losman comparison's of which you are one of the most qualified here to be able to make those. I just wanted to point out that Losman lacked some important skills that can make the difference between "greatness" and "bum". -

Ratings? Don't you think that ratings on this draft class should be thrown out the window by now considering what's happened in these first three rounds? I think the media and fans are very confused after what they've been hearing these last few months. The EJ Manuel draft pick reminds me of what a successful professional organization like the Giants would do if they were in the Bills situation. Pick the prototypical QB who's very smart, has the big arm, has great athletic ability, and the one who has the highest ceiling. Then let your coaches do their thing and coach him up and into a becoming franchise QB. -

I'm extremely happy with the Bills pick of EJ Manuel. Also very relieved...lol True franchise QB prospect who's capable of taking a team to the top if he reaches his ceiling. EJ will probably need a year to sit, learn and smooth out the roughness in his game. I have a great vibe about this draft...now lets get a WR and TE! -
I think you're right that the Bills have been sending a lot of smokescreens up. Now I don't know if they like Geno Smith, but I bet they do like EJ Manuel. I simply can't buy into them liking Nassib or Barkley because of their physical limitations and their arm strength issues. Of course that's my hope as well...lol If it's not QB I think the Bills will pick Jordan, Patterson or Austin. They will want an impact player with a huge upside at #8. Kind of what they did with the Spiller pick a few years ago and that seems to have worked out very well for them.

Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
1billsfan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get the personal attacks. We're just discussing opinions here and I've been backing my opinions up with links. I'm not trying to hurt anyones feelings or get anyone angry. This board should be above this stuff, really. As for Josh Norris I've been following the guy on twitter since the combine. That Nassib #8 to Buffalo was a prediction not a player ranking (just read that on his twitter). In fact, he didn't include any QBs in his top 100 player ranking because it was so hard to predict in that format. Instead he did a separate ranking for QBs in which he had Nassib as the 5th best QB behind Wilson, Smith, Dyster and Glennon. http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/cfb/42933/325/qb-rankings-top-15 So by that ranking you've got to figure he thinks Nassib is a late 2nd/3rd round prospect. I'm looking at player rankings, not predictions. -

http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/54631/mcshay-nassibs-arm-vastly-overrated "Nassib's arm vastly overrated," McShay tweeted yesterday. "Short/intermediate throws MPHs but struggles driving ball vertically on tape and see same at Senior Bowl." Considering this scorching analysis of Nassib's abilities as a QB, I can totally see why McShay thinks (hopes?) the Bills will draft him at #8. It's almost as if the media wants the Bills to be bad and are trying to push them into drafting Nassib at #8 and making the biggest mistake in their franchise history. -
Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
1billsfan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can foresee the Bills picking Ryan Nassib at #8 and the Jets picking Geno Smith at #9 or #13 and the Bills getting whacked up side the head twice a year by a vengeful Geno Smith for the next 10-15 years. This possibility is so upsetting to even think about. Could the Buffalo Bills really be THAT stupid? -

If it makes you feel better saying that then so be it. But those two draft guys are outliers. Gruden's a bozo. Have you watched his Camp Gruden shows? He's a bozo. I gave 7 reputable draft sources that rank players top to bottom and he's anywhere from #44-98 in those rankings. Other than Russ Lande's rankings, please show me at least three "player ranking" sources that show Nassib as having a high ranking. I gave 7 (CBS, GBN Report, Brandt, Mayock, DraftCoutdown, Walterfootball, DraftTek), you have 1 (Russ Lande). Where is Nassib on Kiper's or McShay's boards? Anyone have that? -
Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
1billsfan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both are outliers, especially Russ Lande. As for guys like Jaws and Gruden, they're a couple of TV personalities who certainly don't make a living ranking all draft eligible players from top to bottom. I gave four reputable rankings the other day with Nassib in the #40-50 range (CBS, GBN Report, Brandt, Mayock). Here's three more Nassib rankings... DraftCountdown #60, Walterfootball #98, DraftTek #47, hence my using of the word consensus. -

People are getting worked up because Nassib is an almost consensus 40th-50th best player in the draft and the Bills are being talked about as possibly drafting him at #8. Why stop in the first round over drafting western NY college payers like Nassib? Why not overdraft fellow Syracuse players Thomas and Lemon with the second and third rounds? They know Marrone's system, right? Why put the brakes on the "homer" plan? They could then move on to picking some UB players in the later rounds. Then the Bills can change their logo to the banjo player in Deliverance. -

He's plenty athletic for the college game, I just don't see him being athletic enough for long term success in the NFL game. -

IMO, his physical limitations will prevent him have the same success in the NFL. There's no way I ever see Nassib competing with RGIII, Luck, Kaepernick or Wilson. You can't wish Nassib to be something he will never be. -
Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
1billsfan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Marrone picks Nassib at #8, the answer is yes. He'll be giving Dick MacPherson a run for his money as for which former Syracuse head coach was a bigger bust as an NFL head coach. This is only based on if he picks Nassib at #8. -
Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
1billsfan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd simply consider Doug Marrone out of touch with the NFL after four years at Syracuse. That he's been out of the league too long. The NFL is changing and Ryan Nassib is no where close to being part of that change. He's a QB from a bygone era that is not coming back. He's slow, unathletic and can't throw a deep ball with accuracy. If he is picked at #8, Marrone officially becomes a moron for thinking he can "manage" a Superbowl win with Nassib when you have QBs like Luck, RGIII, Wilson, Kaepernick, Rodgers and Brees to go through first to get that ring. Sheer lunacy. This is a QB league and Nassib is NOT the QB to win you a Superbowl.
