Deion Sanders speaking on Randy Moss
ROCCEO replied to OnTheRocks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Way bigger, Randy doesn't seem to feen for the spotlight the way Deion does. I doubt that when Moss is done playing that we'll be seeing him doing pregame or much else. -

well what you dont know about zow2 is that he's 7'8 365 and built like paul bunyan!!! -
I bet we can get NO LESS than a 3rd for Henry. Good runner, inadequate blocker, sub-par hands. As for peoples assertions that TH is "injury-prone" and "low character", he is tough as hell(2003) and a lot of backs would've handled the situation last year a lot worse. Anyhow, remember that just this year LAMAR GORDON WAS TRADED FOR A 3rd ROUNDER!!! Miami: I hope we don't trade him to Miami, because they really have no draft picks AND they're in the AFC east. Cleveland: forget it, they've got 2 raw young talents at RB(although William Green may have worn out his welcome), so i don't think it's likely that they are going to be in the market for TH. Plus, im not sure but they may be down a few picks in this years draft already because of the Kellen Winslow deal last year(traded up like 1 or 2 spots with detroit for no less than 2 additional picks). Oakland:More likely than most scenarios as I see it. TH is a tough guy, perfect oakland norv turner type back. The Raiders usually have some draft picks or tricks up their sleeve plus I think that we have a good relationship with the raiders. Carolina: ONly if Stephen Davis retires. Tampa Bay: Seems unlikely, Pittman was a man on fire the 2nd half of htis season. Arizona: very likely, Emmitt may retire and Denny Green doesn't seem to care for Marcell Shipp(who is coming off of a torn ACL i believe). We may be able to swing a deal with them, it could even involve players, who knows. I guess Denny Green has really been shakin' things up down there since he arrived. San Fransisco: Barlow sunk last year but he's got a huge contract, don't expect to see him cut so quickly. If something happens with them I'd bet it'd be no higher than a 3rd because of the fact they have Barlow(similar back to henry) and they have the 1st pick in each round. Are there perhaps any other teams that may have interest in TH??? Seattle?: If Alexander leaves, possibly. I hear that they feel Maurice Morris could be an adequate replacement, however MOrris is only 200 lbs or so and more of an outside cutback type runner. Maybe Holmgren would want a guy who can pound a defense to compliment morris, in that case I'd be willing to wager that they'd offer no more than a 3rd rounder. Colts: If edge leaves, they're gonna need a guy and D. Rhodes is a Free agent too, plus this year henry's cap number is low and the colts just signed a bunch of guys to extensions. WHile they say they want to keep edge, the prospect of him heading to miami seems pretty good. So, the most likely scenario I see is TH going to Oakland or Arizona with Indy as a dark horse candidate.

That just made my day. maybe Rudy has a little bit more info on this sort of thing.....

Who are you personally rooting for?
ROCCEO replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
AFC is all hated teams right now, but I hate the iggles so probobly teh Vikings until they lose. In the AFC, it's tough since all teams are hated, but this weekend Im rooting for Indy and the Steelers. -
I don't know what he's makin, but he certainly isn't a fantastic reciever. IMO a lot of the younger guys have passed him up bigtime at WR in NE.
-
I think those 2 hate each other, they're always arguing. THeisman is public enemy #1 though, I believe he was on the crew for the home run throwup game. God damn i hate him.

One of these things is not like the other.......

This summer I was painting some townhouses in pittsford, and we found a dead blue jay just chillin near the trailer. Our foreman took the dead bird and placed it in my best firends' lunchbox, he jum,ped up and shreiked like a girl when he opened it up! Another time a guy i used to work with killed like 50 bees, then proceeded to place the dead bees in my friends sock while he was up on a ladder painting. He didnt react at first but then he loked down at his sock and yelled, "ahhhhh beeeeeeeeeees!", hilarious sh--. Ive got a million more good painting stories but i dont wnat to bore everyone.

Must be nice to be a crappy QB...

would you like Mike Vanderjagt as Bills Kicker
ROCCEO replied to millbank's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We're not bringing him in to play QB, he's a kicker and has but 1 job and that is to put his foot to the ball in a way that launches it through uprights. The difference between kicking in college and the pros is minimal, in fact, sinc eNugent went to OSU, you KNOW he's kicked at least a handful of field goals that are approximately equal in terms of pressure to most of the toughest non-super bowl FGs that he'd kick in the NFL. oh and yeah, EXPERIENCE, isn't that the one thing EDDIE ROBINSON was supposed to bring to the table.....point being: experience is overrated sometimes. -
I nominate this for "whackest OT post of the day".....yes, even stranger than the cube figurines.

The little vertical ad on the side has a picture of a 747 landing in st. maarten, I've been there and stood on teh beach, which is right accross the street from teh runway, it quite the site, but I found it a little uncomfortable to be right behind the runway(holy sand in the face).

If mooch thinks harrington sucks, then he probobly isn't so great. Remember mooch coached Jeff Garcia to a 4,000 yard season. But with that being said, I wouldnt mind seeing hijm in a bills uni as a backup. Detroit really is too !@#$ed up to accurately evaluate any single member of the organization and place blame upon that person.

Do you have faith n MM to do the right thing at QB
ROCCEO replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see everyone so far has said "yes". Well, i hope that isnt like when a girl says, "just tell me, i wont be mad" then you tell her and shes furious. I suspect more than half the board would be up in arms if drew starts again next year. -
Am i missing something? is that how he got hurt last year or something? my feeble brain cannot remember patsie info that far back.

OK, but the colts blew out opponants in most of their wins this year, they only won a few close ones: He kicks some game-winners, yes, but I only recall him attempting one this year(selective memory perhaps), but that was the thursday night season opener in New England, and he !@#$ed it up. And before that he taunted the patsies bench. I don't want a kicker who taunts(includes gramatica). If vandy can get his act under control id be glad to have him since I think I have made it clear in the past that SINdell may be the biggest reason we aren't in the playoffs right now(sorry, but if he hits that kick, i bet we win the game: it wasnt ALL drews fault). -
seriously, hes as washed up as the come right now. The guy doesnt restructure to help the chargers then gets cut and sucks for another team. Sounds to me like we can stick a fork in him, because he's DONE. Also, remember TD had to make a choice: Sign moulds or marcellus, but only one. Looks like he made the right choice, eh?
