  1. More kids = more booze. Isn't that how it goes.
  2. So true about time being spent in the room. It's usually time spent sleeping off all those "complimentary drinks" you get while gambling. Tropicana is older and the casino there seems a little grungy. It makes me feel like I am in someones crowded basement. Although, Tropicana's pool is awesome.
  3. Leaving for Vegas one week from Saturday and think we are staying at Excalibur. I have been there for the Tournament of Kings dinner, but never stayed there. Can't decide between Excalibur or the Tropicana. Same $$$ for either. Most other places are becoming sold out due to a fight there that weekend. Any input would be appreciated.
  4. Ouch, that's a lot farther drop to the ground from there. Good luck. An ex-boss of mine was from Oakland, and some of the stories he told were downright frightening.
  5. TO also has McNabb at QB and a better O-line to give DM time to throw to him. When PP was here, EM was dominant. Until Evans or Reed can put a little fright into opposing defenses, EM will have a tougher go of it. Being double teamed when your QB has 3 secs at best to throw doesn't make for good numbers.
  6. Oak held Bettis and Staley to 92 yds rushing, yet the Pitt won. Jax held TH and WM to 106 yds rushing and we lost. The more Sapp and Ted play together, the better they will get. We will have to open it up some or we are screwed. With that being said, we will probably run for 200 yds and win by 20 pts.
  7. In order for us to win, I think we will have to pass. Fat Sapp and big Ted in the middle will be tough. Going against an experienced and somewhat mobile QB in Gannon does not bode well for us either (even though he is 51 years old). Our D had 2 sacks against an immobile, inexperienced QB in Leftwich. If we can stretch the field some, we will have a good chance. If we stick to the same gameplan as last week, I see the same results. Again, the black hole is not an easy place to play, even when it's no the home opener.
  8. Yeah, but the Gents lost and they had 2 players get creamed. Welcome to the NFL Eli.
  9. TKOs hit on Williams yesterday definitely should have been on jacked up, but not according to TJ. No one else got separated from their hat in the top 5. Keyshawn went for a nice ride though. We still get no respect, what a surprise.
  10. Since the h is slient, then yes, it should be an not a. You are correct sir!!!
  11. Where in the hell is the all of the above choice? Although Kenny Mayne is allright.
  12. I saw the exact same thing, but realized there was no way in hell he could have gotten there. The little momentum he had going was taking slightly away from where the ball ended up and he didn't have the time to adjust, IMO.
  13. Let's just hope the CS is smart enough not to keep going back to the well too many times. It's going to dry up sooner or later. We have heard how small the playbook is to make it easier on DB. I just hope that isn't our only set-up play. You know Belichek has that one in his memory vault.
  14. Our biggest obstacle to our playoff hopes is with the Bills. Any team on any given day can be beat. We can only keep ouorselves from making the playoffs and yesterday was a prefect example of that.
  15. What kind of defensive struggle will the Ravens game be like. Two awesome Ds going against 2 weak Os. Probably end up being a shootout.
  16. My prayers are with you and your whole family. May the best come of this. That sounds like a scary situation and you have every right to be scared, as I would too. This coming from a father of 4 daughters so I know how they must feel. God bless.
  17. As of now TH is better, but WM only has not even a full half of his 1st NFL game under his belt. He did look strong in his debut albeit. If he stays healthy, he is going to be just as good, if not better than TH. I love them both as long as they keep their pieholes shut. I also agree with your last statement.
  18. They have one hell of a well-coached O-line for one. Clinton Portis IS the real deal and will have success wherever, but remember Olandis Gary, he blew after leaving Denver. Girrith is in the right system and would fail on most other teams IMO.
  19. And unfortunately for us, these players keep getting a year older and a year deeper into their contracts.
  20. AMEN!!! I am just glad you did not mention hockey as a meaningless sport. It's gonna be a rough go this year if the Bills don't pick it up and there being no hockey to watch. Although, we will have the Amerks!!
  21. Thanks, I love you too..jerk!!!
  22. I may be a little f'd up, but I ain't no dummy.
  23. Sounds good, I'm taking the Pats.
  24. Must have been Foxboro Mike and Hollywood Donahoe in disguise. They are "so-called" Pats fans, but spend more time on this board obsessing about DB. If it was them, then they deserved a good rag-dolling.
