  1. Wow, I forgot about Aiken. They did not mention his name once or show him once on the TV side. How did you like the play where Moulds went in motion and acted like it was going to be a qiuck out to him and they ran the ball instead for a healthy gain. Then they came back with the exact same formation 4-5 plays later, but this time they threw the backwards pass to Moulds and he couldn't catch it, resulting in the fumble. As soon as I saw Moulds go in motion in that pattern, I knew this one was going to him. It was completely obvious. They should have tried it on a completely different series, not the same one.
  2. I totally agree. As much as the game results pissed me off, I was totally happy with the coaching. The difference is like night and day between GW and MM. Unfortunately the end result was the same, but as to where GW did the same things over and over, MM will fix the problems. The only coaching blurb I saw today was the prevent D at the end of the game. We could have rushed more than 3-4 guys on certain plays.
  3. There are way too many ways to look at this play. You could say that a batted down ball would have been better than taking a sack. Taking the sack could have resulted in a fumble. Attempting to hit DS could have resulted in an int, etc. Just peoples different opinions, no one gets hurt by them. We are all armchair QBs.
  4. Wow man, you're an idiot. Wait, I have been agreeing with you all along. I guess I'm an idiot too for having an opinion.
  5. I think if DB had better reaction time he could have easily hit DS before those D-men came into the play. For some reason he hesitated a split second and that killed the play.
  6. We are not blaming the loss on DB. Way too many other mistakes to try and do that. He could have easily lobbed the ball over the D and led Shelton to the corner before the D got there. If you noticed there was no one in front of Shelton and thats where a touch pass comes into play.
  7. But it almost seems like this team needs to play the PERFECT game in order to win. Good teams can win by overcoming their mistakes, we can't. We have not been able to do that since the Kelly years. I'm just scared that the game is in Oakland. I think we can beat them, but it won't be easy out there.
  8. Did you see how wide open Shelton was on 3rd and goal??? Bledsoe loked right at him then froze like a deer in the headlights and took a sack. THROW THE DAMN BALL TO THE OPEN GUY.....TD.....GAME OVER.....WE WIN!!!
  9. I agree. I can't believe one week into the season and we are already calling next week a must win game.
  10. We are not NE, that's why the played was not overturned. I thought he was no where close to being forced out, no one really touched him.
  11. No blitzes because we played the stupid prevent defense. We all know what the prevent defense does.....it prevents you from winning. TERRIBLE Mr. Gray.
  12. That place is tough to play in no matter what the Raiders record is, but them coming into their home opener at 0-1 does not help us at all. The Black Hole may swallow us up. The Bills never seem to play well out west with the time difference and all. I originally though this would be a somewhat easy win for us, but Oak almost beat the Steelers in Pitt and look better than I thought. They will be mad and we will be mad, but we have to go there and that gives them a big advantage. 0-2 going into the bye will hurt, although NE went 0-2 the first year they won the SB.
  13. Drew was decent. I just wish they coaches let him go deep once or twice anyways. He never looked deep ONCE. What is up with that?? I know they are trying to get the ball out of his hands quick, but come on, you need the deep ball occasionally.
  14. The dumb thing about that play was that we used it earlier in the same drive as a decoy for a running play, which worked great. My question is why in the hell would you show the exact same formation and actually run that play again that soon. Jax new exactly what we were gonna do on that play and it showed. Stupid playcalling, you're right on that one.
  15. You mean like, our offense was offensive!!
  16. Not really an injury, he cramped up a bit. It must be his time of the month.
  17. Mularkey has stated that they have plays that include both RBs in the backfield at the same time. I think they should have brought them both in when it was 1st and goal on the 3 and ran 3 straight times alternating them.
  18. McGahee looked great on the clock killing drive that Villarial ended up blowing for us anyways. He looked really tough to bring down on some of those runs. You can see him getting faster and stronger with every carry he gets. Henry looked really good also, after a somewhat slow start. I have not forgot who our #1 guy is. You can see us wearing down defenses with these two horses beating up on them throughout the course of a game.
  19. When has ol' Whitey EVER admitted he f'd up??? Will never happen and its unfortunate.
  20. Took the words right out of my mouth Bill. I wouldn't mind if we played horrible as long as we win the f-ing game.
  21. Our D is good except when the game is on the line. Will lose more games than we win if this happens every week. We also turned the ball right back over to them. We NEVER win the f-ing TO battle. DBs looked good except on 4th and 14 and 4th and goal. That is when they needed to step up, and they failed to. I saw the DBs playing about 12 yds off the line on one play, and Jax completed a pass to the TE in front of them for a 1st down. Negatives ALWAYS outweigh the positives in a loss.
  22. Doesn't Foxboro Mike work for AP???
  23. The play you are referring to was a meaningless 3rd down running play where they stuffed Jax. That's when TKO went into convulsions for a play that meant jack.
  24. How many games do you think we can win with only getting 1 TD from our offense. They need to start producing, there is no time to wait for them anymore.
