Oh boy, don't even get me going on Don Cherry. I live in Rochester, where he first coached and he was the best. I love that guy to no end. I just can't figure out why two countries so close have these problems, although I think it is more of a French Canadian thing than all of Canada. I also think that French Canada is getting pissed that the US hockey teams are slowly getting tougher to play against. I know hockey is and will always be Canadas sport, but I think they are getting a little worried, especially when some Canadien players become US citizens and play for USA.

I think you totally misunderstood my point. I said dominant teams DON'T have to get lucky and never said the Pats were lucky. I am saying that the Pats win most every game by close scores. If they were so dominant, they would blow people out of the stadium, but they don't. They are a good team and know how to win, but dominant, I don' think so.

Week one shows us nothing. Last year we looked like SB champs after week one, and two for that matter. What did we learn from that? How easy it is to get deflated. Week one performance is pretty much smoke in mirrors. I hope we kick ass, but I need to see that for the first 4-5 weeks.

I never had this attitude until MY National Anthem got booed on national TV. My families cottage is in Canada on the St. Lawrence River and to this day is my most favorite place to visit. Canada is beautiful, but the immature Canadiens of Montreal are far from that. You never hear antything like this coming from Toronto.
