1. Anyways, regarding Teague, the only two positions for him even being worth talked about at should be center of left tackle. Either guard spot or right tackle he would simply not hold up. You need a drive blocker at RT and the DT's in todays game are simply way too big for him one on one at guard.

    99648

Actually....Lawrence Smith is not much bigger then Teague......

I think that Tre might be a little better in this position.....but next year I want a monster playing there......

  2. Does anybody know if any plans are being made to stream WGR on the net......

Or are my days of watching the bills going to now be restricted to NFL Sunday ticket for the rest of my life.....

That damn show was the one thing I looked forward to on my lunch hour.......

  3. The thing that makes WIllis so great is that he just does everything you would expect out of a top back.....its not just the rushing....he also makes sure that his QB doesn't get creamed....

When he is in the game the offense just runs smoother.......

  4. We just do NOT understand how this race could be so close and how anyone could take John Kerry seriously....

    - The guy does not stand behind any REAL convictions......

    - Dont like his stance on something....just take a walk around the block and check back in....it will likely have changed....but dont wait too long....because it will likely change again.....

    - Anybody who could throw away their service medals (which I value) the way he did has no respect for anything....it just goes to show you he DID NOT EARN THEM

The only thing I can think of is people are so upset with the way certain things are going that ANYTHING would be better then what is going on now.....

You know what folks....I CAN (and if Kerry wins it will) GET MUCH WORSE

Dont just vote for Kerry because you hate Bush....Christ....vote for Bugs Bunny...Nadar....Michael Jordan....whatever

  5. I think I remember the play....he was chewin on Lawrence Smith....who had that look on his face like "yeah I screwed up...but do you know how big this guy is in front of me?"

Still...it was good to see....as long as the O Line doesn't take it in a negative way......

I thought it important that Magehee turned right around and gave the credit to everyone else after the game (his line....fullback)

  6. I got hooked into it for a number of reasons......

First....my own grandmother used to love this stuff.....so I watched with her as a kid.....

At my very fist job as a kid I worked in a steak house and who should walk in but none other then the Bird Man....Koko B. Ware (he used to come in with a parrot on his shoulder) a really nice guy

Then....when me and my future wife met up (I was deciding what to do with my life since my football aspirations were coming to an end) she was a G.L.O.W. wrestler (Georgous Ladies of Wrestling) so I have been around people in the sport personally

I have also in my contacts had the pleasure to meet and keep in touch with Bill Goldberg. I also had the opportunity to meet Andre the Giant

I dont watch it too much nowadays (just dont have the time) but my favorites over the years have been Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Big John Studd, Jimmy Superfly Snuka, and Ricky Steamboat

  7. Let's hear from all these people who were ready to lynch Tom Donahoe for the Willis McGahee draft pick.  Three weeks ago all half the people on this board could talk about was how Donahoe's ego screwed the Bills by taking a chance on Willis.

Where are all those people who honestly thought TD got hosed by Willis's agent?

It looks like Willis might just pan out afterall.

    Come on now,  fess up!

    94378

While I am totally hoping that Willis makes the HOF in a bills uniform.....I think that even though he is bandaiding a lot of ills on our team the jury is going to be out till next year.....

    - When I dont hold my breath every time he looks like he is getting up slow from a hit......and not give it a thought

    - When I see this speed I keep hearing about that he flashed for his size....

I dont think he is all the way back.....but it is good enough for right now........

by the way....I dont bash the GM's picks....I never have

  8. Well....I know that it is not a popular opinion....but I say give Mathews a shot......especially if we are not getting it done in the first half.....

Seriously....when JP Losman gets ready he is going to be in their....so maybe allowing the backup QB to take over the team for a couple of weeks is the SMART thing to do.....it allows for a easier transition from Bledsoe to Losman....Mathews knows he is the backup.....and if he plays well we can keep him around to be back up next year as well.....Drew will surely be gone......

I just have this feeling in my gut that this team would put points on the board with Mathews in their......since the O Line is not protecting well we cant throw deep anyway......Mathews makes smart decisions with the ball even if he doesn't have a strong arm......

I would give it a shot....what are we going to do....hurt our record?

  9. dude.. :(   ...have you ever even watched a Bills game???  Henry was the only bright spot we had on offense last year.  He was NEVER brought down by the first tackler.  He played hurt and played well.  He was certainly not overrated.  You are way off.  WAY off.

p.s. he wouldn't have given up on that INT either (sorry)

    88772

Mav...if you are talking about last year then I agree with you....Henry was a playmaker......

but if you are talking about this year then you are full of stevestojan. There is something wrong with Henry he has either tried to take too much weight off to get faster or there is something wrong with him mentally......he IS getting taken down by the first hit and sometimes he is falling down all by himself....in pass protection he is blocking like a fricken little girl....MY TWELVE YEAR OLD DOES A BETTER JOB BLOCKING then Henry does this year.....last year I saw Henry really stand some guys up......

It is like he knows he is gone and he is playing like he doesn't want to get hurt......if he had the heart of last year he would have come out in the Ravens game and played so well that Magehee couldnt' get onto the field.......and it wouldnt' be an issue........

    Henry is done in Buffalo......

  10. Calling it as I see it.  I don't care if you agree.  You're still wrong.

    91753

I think that what Westside doesn't like is the fact that someone who is in a better position to have the CORRECT facts is on the board supporting Bush....to me that is the gist of it....

PS....In my Air Force career I was also in the same lines of work....carried a Top Secret SCI Clearance and was responsible for more information then I really would have liked to have been sometimes.....

The things that BIB posts sound very close to the mark to me......and that is from my own experiences....which I will not divulge here.....

  11. What does all that have to do with Roethlisberger being able to make plays when his pass protection breaks down?

I think the original point is valid that Bledsoe has difficulty making plays when his protection breaks down.  Our Oline a QB are a bad mix.

    91618

    You know jad.....

I used to think just like this....maybe because I get tired of the O Line on our team thinking that mediocre play is acceptable......you just know that Bledsoe would be having an MVP season behind our Super Bowl line.....

But this ISN"T our Super Bowl line.....it is inconsistant.....and when you have inconsistant protection and COMPLETE lack of mobility that is a recipe for disaster....

When Drew Bledsoe sidestepped that Miami rusher.....I was happy for Drew...I was happy for the line....I was happy for the team.....but what I REALLY was thinking is if we had a QB that was a danger to do that ALL THE TIME then the pass protection problems we seemed to have would go away.....

I also equate it to the Doug Flutie days......to me...if Doug Flutie had Losmans arm and hight he would have been in the Pro Bowl as well.....because the "flutie defense" would have gotten teams killed....if they sat on the routes and didn't break containment on Flutie....they would just wait until he threw a weak pass and int it......if Flutie had Losmans cannon and hight.....the game would be over quick........

Teams are going to face a double threat with Losman......he can sit in the pocket and kill you downfield.....he can throw on the run when containment breaks down....and he can get a first down out of nothing by scrambling....giving the offense a whole new set of downs to score with......

I for one am anxiously awaiting Losmans return.......

JP Losmans stats for that game 5/5  55 yards sacked once 3 runs for 37 yards a long of 26

    Week 2 of preseason Bills/Titans

JP Losman was 4/6 for 23 yards 4 runs for 43 yards and a long of 15. he lead on on 2 potential scoring drives in this game one where lindell missed a 46 yard fg wide left and another where lindell hit a fg from 49 yards

So for his limited preseason Losmans combined stats were 9/11 for 78 yards o tds o int's and lead us on 3 fg scoring drives against teams 3rd string defenses. He  also had 7 rushing attempts for  80 yards With a long of 26.  Not bad for a rookie but nothing that eye popping.

    92010

Nothing that eye popping? Yeah if your Michael Vick or Donavan McNabb....

QB's are NOT supposed to have those kinds of yards rushing......man is Losman a weapon or what......

I get a little more pissed at Vincent with each passing day
